How to Measure Your Foot

  • Place your feet flat on a piece of paper and mark your longest toe and the back of your foot. It's best to do this standing and wearing socks
  • Measure the length (cm) straight from your longest toe to the back of your foot using a ruler or measuring tape.
  • Use the chart to find your size.

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 213 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Quality of Boots I was a little disappointed with my boots. The 'buckle' by the heel on the boots continues to come undone which shouldn't be happening since it's just for looks. These boots are great and I will always stand by the Sorel brand, but sad to see that I have this issue after spending a couple hundred dollars on them. January 27, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Damaged When I receive these boots and a leather was scratched, the toggle at the top was broke. Very disappointed in their customer service . January 27, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Carly Boots I've had these boots for 3 years. Last winter the rubber began to split near my toe and snow continuously got into my boots. Following the opening on the toe region, the rubber has been cracking all over. Very fashionable but not a great winter boot. A little disappointed with the short warranty as I only wore these for two seasons and began having issues. After paying over 200 for them, I'd expect that they'd last longer. January 10, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Be Sure to Size Up These boots are very stylish. My Sister and I both ordered these boots and we had to send them back for larger sizes. They are not insulated, so don't hesitate to order two sizes larger if you want to fit thick socks. January 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love these boots! These boots are comfortable, light-weight & easy to get in/out of. Beyond being practical in keeping my feet warm & dry, I receive countless style compliments. Plus, I get to jump in as many puddles as I like. December 29, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by I loved them... Till the rubber cracked. I bought them last year, love em, they fit over my large calves, kept me warm and for the longest time dry. But the rubber has cracked and now my sad little toe gets cold and wet from even the slightest puddle, which is unfortunate because I really love these boots and living in Chicago you need boots that you love... And will keep you dry. Maybe I have poor luck with rubber boots.,. December 29, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love I read many other reviews of this product that were not favorable and besides the fit issue I can't understand why they were reviewed poorly. They look great, are comfortable (i went on several hikes in them) and are warm with great traction. I live in Denver so I know cold and snow and these are great. I have seen many people who have them here and they seem to be pleased. Keep in mind you may need to go up a full size. December 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Conquest Boots are pretty and fit true to size. Still, boot fits loosely around my ankle, so theres is breathing room. December 28, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lovable boot I bought these during "cyber Tuesday" after thanksgiving. I had been stalking these online for months. And jumped when I saw they were $160. I mean, who passes up on $160 Sorel boots? No one. That's who. I found they run exact. But after wearing them for a while, they loosened. They feel great with long socks. And fit amazingly over skinny jeans and paired well with leggings. I do wish I paid heed to the complaints about the laces. I tied my shoes twice yesterday and both times my laces snapped in my hands. I finally replaced them with another pair of laces from another boot. That is the only con I've found. I would have given them five stars otherwise. December 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love, love, love the Carly boot! I have found for me, all sorel boots run slightly small so I order up one half size. This worked and the boots fit perfectly. I don't untie or unlace them, I just slip them on. They are super comfortable and easy to slip on and off. I live in Wyoming and we just spent a week in a snow storm and digging out. The boots were wonderful for going in and out, and running around town. I love them! December 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love these boots I genuinely love these boots. They are so cute and fit perfectly. When I first put them on and they were cold I thought they would be uncomfortable but as you walk in them and they warm up they relax and the discomfort goes away. Because they're unlined, you can feel the edge of the rubber on your heel but I have walked around in them for hours and they didn't hurt my feet at all. I'm glad I didn't get discouraged and just kept walking! December 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cute, but fit small Ok, I haven't actually worn them outside yet. It's because I ordered a size 9, my standard size with Sorel. This particular boot fit way too small in a 9, so I was hoping to order a 9.5, however that size was sold out. So I ordered a 10, thinking if it was too big then I could wear thicker socks and all would be good. The fit ended up being perfect and I'm happy I didn't order the half size smaller. I would suggest a full size larger than your normal Sorel size. December 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by favorite winter boot I live in Colorado and having good boots is a must. I have only had them one month but have gone through two snow sessions one almost a foot of snow. I always size up a half size for boots so thick socks and pants will fit. These fit great. Lots of reviews discuss the lump in the heel, which is noticeable. Though, it does not hurt or rub my heel raw. After a few wears I bearly notice it. I'm hoping they last a long time and thus far seem like a quality boot. December 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by so great Here's the good and bad about these boots. First the good. I love them. They are so cute and cozy. They are true to size with the medium sock that I wear with almost all my Sorels. Now, the bad. They have to go back in the box and under the tree because my husband says I can't wear them until Christmas. December 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stylish & Warm I've only warn these boots a few times but love them! They are warm and dry but not too clunky. They look great with skinny jeans and leggings. Only draw back they take a little work to get off and on, similar to cowboy boots. December 13, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not so easy I have wanted these boots for a few years. Finally ordered them along with a few others. I normally wear a size 9 and ordered 9 1/2 because I like thick socks in the winter. The 9 and 1/2 were still too small. There is no return label for an easy exchange. Nothing horrible I just like things mad simple the over all quality was less then expected but I still think they look amazing so I am exchanging them for a size 10 and getting a liner for the inside to make them more comfortable and warm. December 13, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by A tad small These boots are very comfortable, however, I am usually an 8 1/2, my big toe touched the ends of the boot, it felt a little too tight and they fit slightly small especially if I wanted to wear a thick sock so I re-ordered a 9. Hopefully, they fit better. I can't wait to conquer this Oregon rain! December 7, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Awesome Mild-Winter Boot! I just bought my second pair of these boots in the black! I sized up to a 10 this time and the fit is more comfortable/spacious for a good sock. I bought my first pair of conquest carly's two years ago in a khaki/green color that's been discontinued (a little lighter than the one being sold now). They worked great through Minnesota winter #1. However, through MN winter #2 there were a few crazy cold days that caused the rubber to crack over one of my toes! I was able to fix the tear with a black tire patch. Besides the above, they're a great all-weather boot! When the weather starts to dip below 20 degrees (F), I double up on socks for warmth. With a good, thick, wool sock my toes do stay warm! December 3, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great boots, bad heel and shoelaces Love these boots- they've gotten me through some tough snowstorms. Two things though: the "wood" around the heel comes off after a while. Second: the shoelaces get worn out pretty quickly - Sorel does not send you new ones so I had to order them off another website. November 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fashion and Function! Win, Win!! I bought these in the Camo/Brown colorway, as I thought it was a good neutral. I'm usually a 9, occasionally a 9 1/2, and sized up to 9 1/2 based on other reviews. I wish I hadn't. These are very roomy and I bet I could put on 3 socks if I wanted to! I'm debating sending back for a 9, but might actually just keep them as I think I would double up on socks for warmth when I wear these in the snow. The tread on the bottom is great and these will be my go to fall/winter/early spring boots for the rain and snow that we see in the foothills of Colorado. I love how functional they are, but still look good. I foresee me wearing these mostly with jeans, but I could just as easily wear them with leggings and a knit dress and still look cute. The other good thing is that they will fit most any calf size. I have large (15") calves and have a hard time finding boots that fit. The laces mean that they'll adjust to any size calf. Love!!! November 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love! This will be my 3rd Michigan winter in these boots. I have several Sorel boots, and these are among my favorites. Actually, all my Sorels are my favorites! But these have so much character and such comfort that they are front runners in my rotation. I always get compliments when I wear them. November 21, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality and overpriced I'm sorry I have to write a bad review, but I had to return these boots because I was so disappointed (and shocked) at the poor quality of these boots. The boots lacked detail and craftsmanship, and the rubber used looked very cheap. I expected a lot more after spending more than $220. I so wanted to love these boots but they look nothing like they do in the pictures. I would not recommend. November 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good looking but... Love the looks of this all weather boot. However, there was a big seam on the inside heel where one would typically get a blister with a new pair of shoes. My daughter found this uncomfortable and annoying. After reading other reviews we ordered 1/2 size larger which was a good fit for her. November 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love these boots... To be honest, all of the reviews on these boots made me nervous about purchasing them, but I'm so glad I listened to my gut and did it anyway! I absolutely love these and they are crazy comfortable. I did go about a half size up, but that's mostly because I knew I'd be wearing thick socks with them. I love the touch of steampunk style, and the different little details that they have. The only negative is that the laces do feel fragile and like they could give at any moment, but they've lasted so far and to be honest, it's easily fixable if is does happen. I would honestly highly recommend these boots! November 4, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by painful crease in heel These boots are so attractive on but they are so poorly made it is amazing. There is this big crease on the inside of the boot at the heel that presses into the heel about halfway down and rubs. Also, the boot fits true to size lengthwise but my heel lifts as I walk making the rubbing even worse. I have several pairs of Sorels and I have loved them all. This would be my favorite if it weren't for this issue. I'm so disappointed! October 10, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Conquest boot I really like the look of this boot. Originally my husband purchased it in olive however it ran small and therefore when I re-ordered it, I purchased it in black. It goes with everything and its a great look, stylish while keeping your feet dry. September 9, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Color is awful Ugh. So I ordered the tan/flax pair. The color looks rich online. When they arrived....The color just looks washed out and it doesn't make the boot look as dramatically cool as it SHOULD according to the online photo. AND then the laces broke INSTANTLY on one boot. I want to send these back but was looking forward to them- and I live in Alaska..... September 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by In Military Fashion This calls to the more masculine chic and combat style I wear often and to work. I must say that it is very cool and stylish. Time will tell regarding the lasting nature of the rubber underneath. I think the rubber could stand to be just a little thicker so it could last longer. Especially for the cost. Otherwise, it's a great boot. August 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Successful Conquest Carly I really enjoy wearing these boots year round whether it's camping in the summer, hiking in the fall, or just walking through our snowy town in the winter. Very comfortable to wear and beautifully constructed... It's no wonder I get so many compliments! The fit is very true to size. I am a true 7.5 and sized up to an 8 because I like having the room to wear snow socks or just thicker socks. If you are a true 7.5 and will not be using these in snowy or freezing temperatures, I suggest buying a 7.5. Otherwise, definitely size up to an 8 because you will want the room for socks and good circulation in colder temps. If you're thinking about sizing down to a 7, you should be aware it is unforgiving on the toes. August 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cutest Sorel Boots! If you're into trend- you'll want the Sorel Conquest Carly boots! I have these in both the black and camo brown and they are the cutest combat lace up boots you will ever find! Lightweight and great construction. They were a pain to get on at first but it does become easier over time. I wish people would read the description before writing bad reviews. As stated- these ARE NOT winter boots! Yes, they ARE waterproof but they weren't meant for keeping your feet warm in the cold winter temps. They are great in the rain and even for slushing around in snow if it's not below zero outside. These are by far the cutest Sorel boots ever! I find the fit true to size. I purchased my normal size and they are the perfect fit. July 28, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Frozen These will probably be the cutest winter boots you will ever buy hands down. However, do not expect them to keep your feet even remotely warm in cold weather. I am from Northern NY on the border of Canada- the winters here are brutally cold. I wore these all last winter because I absolutely loved them but my feet were mini icicles afterwords. I do understand that they maybe were not meant for -30 degree weather on a daily basis, but they didn't keep the cold out even a little bit. On days when it was above freezing they were a fantastic choice. But obviously not for extreme cold. June 30, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Irregulars - stop shipping these to customers. Such a shame, this boot is so cute, my room mate has this boot and it's fine. She bought me a size 5 for Christmas. Was a little snug, which I could have lived with, but the seam inside the Left heel was not glued down and rubbed against my foot. Exchanged the boots. Received size 5.5 this time, and the construction inside the Left boot was worse than the first pair, AND the seam around 1/2 of the Right heel is also flapping up and down. Have your QA team pull these check them. Disappointed :/ March 21, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Super cute 'casual/rain' boot I bought these boots after sending my Joan of Arctic boots back home to help my friend deal with the winter in Boston. I moved to KY, where it did snow about a foot two times and these boots totally helped keep my feet dry, but not warm. You definitely have to loosen them up before putting them on, but they are SO cute it's totally worth it. I'm typically a size 8.5 but at the time only a size 8 or 9.5 were available so I got the 8. They fit fine, especially after a couple wears but I did feel the bump on the heal where the rubber meets the material. I read this in some other reviews, but I HAD to have them. I think if I got an 8.5 I wouldn't have felt it. All in all, I would definitely say that 'casual/rain' describes them perfectly. Love these boots. Love Sorel. Only winter boots I will ever own. March 14, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by So Cute But Too Small These boots are adorable and look great...once you finally get them on. They run small and take a lot of effort to put them on/off. Wasn't realistic for every day wear for me. March 3, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Fell apart within months I am disgusted by and so very disappointed in these boots. For the price I paid, there should be no question that these last at least one season, if not multiple. I purchased these in December 2014 and the boot began to fall apart in January. The laces on each boot have broken multiple times, to the point where I can't lace them up all of the way. The boots are sagging and all of the material just looks completely worn down as if I have been wearing these for years. I only wear them to and from work - as in, to and from the train in Chicago - that is absolutely it. Also, I did understand these boots were not "Best for Heavy Snow," so I am not upset that they're not warm -- just be very aware of this fact. It says these are good for Rain which I would dispute as my feet are often wet when I take them off. All in all, just a completely disappointing experience in buying these boots after I thought I was making an investment purchase in a pair of casual boots that I could wear to and from work each day without falling apart and looking extremely raggedy. They are also a huge pain to get on and off each day, but again, I am mainly upset with the quality of these boots above all. March 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for the crazy Boston winter I have been wearing these daily since I got them and I keep getting compliments about them wherever I go. With the big snow related mess in Boston, these are cute and functional! I'd definitely suggest going up a half size. March 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great boots These boots are perfect. Really look great on and very comfortable. February 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Lightweight and Stylish Boot I received these boots as a replacement for my Joan of Arctic boots (which had become damaged and were covered under warranty), so the very helpful Sorel phone support woman helped me pick these out. These boots, as per the description, are fall boots and will not keep your feet as roasty and toasty as some of the winter boots, like Joan of Arctic. I live in Chicago and am a cold-blooded person, so I am very keen to something's capabilities of maintaining warmth. These will keep my feet warm so long as I am wearing thermal/double layer socks, and so long as it is in the 20s/30s. Anything in the teens and below zero and these babies don't do much for warmth (unless you are moving quickly and creating a lot of body heat). I do like that these boots are very light and easy to walk in. The problem with my Joan of Arctics were that they were too heavy and clunky, and so they dragged on the ground as I walked and eventually the rubber sole wore down and water started leaking in. These solve that problem, which is why I ordered them. They also run a bit small– I have never, until these boots, worn anything greater than a 10 (I consistently wear 9.5 in heels, and 10 in flats). I ordered these in a 10.5 and they fit perfectly, so thanks to Sorel support staff who convinced me to go the half size up. I agree with other reviewers that the laces are a bit thin; they will certainly last this winter, but I would speculate that by my third season wearing them the laces will bite the dust. I disagree with other reviewers that they are hard to get off and on. I mean, they are lace-up boots, so to get them on and off easily, one must loosen up the laces, which does require a few seconds. Overall, they are great boots and I am happy that they are light enough to wear in spring/fall, and, while not the warmest, will do the trick in winter. February 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Conquest Carly My daughter loves this boot! Gets compliments all the time. February 22, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Just OK, Sorry! Just a reminder, Sorel does post a suggestion for each product, regarding what type of weather their merchandise is for. These say "casual/rain", they do NOT say cold temps/snow, just keep in mind prior to ordering. I thought these boots ran about 1/2 size small, so do size up. I also thought they felt like a rain boot as soon as i put them on, very similar to my Hunter rain boots. They're cute, but over-priced for what you are getting. The Slim-Pack riders are full leather, and taller, and priced lower. Not sure why these are $220., but i'd put them at about $150.00..sorry, think they're simply "ok" February 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Went up a size, very pleased I usually wear a 6.5, but I can go as small as a 6 in open toed shoes, so I thought I'd be ok with a 6.5. I definitely had to get the size 7, but now that I have, I'm very pleased. Perfect for cold New England spring weather. The boots definitely keep my feet warm. I can also wear them walking around the city for commuting, and they've been fine. I noticed some other reviewers had mentioned a ridge in the back by the heel, but it hasn't been an issue for me. I also make sure I lace the boots every time I put them on and that helps prevent chafing. February 3, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Carly Fashion meets function! Haven't tried these in deep snow but seem warm enough. These do run a little small, would order at least a half size up. January 31, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by love the boots, but the longevity... not so much :( If you love these and only need them for infrequent use, buy them! They are super cute... however, I bought my Conquest Carlys in November of 2013 and have only worn them over 1.5 seasons (about 8 months of winter knock around walking wear about 2x a week), but they are starting to come apart already :( I absolutely love love love these boots because they are adorable, but unfortunately being as expensive as these were, I also want them to last!! I attached some pictures of them that I took a couple weeks ago. I needed to replace the original leather laces within a month or two because they were really thin and snapped within the first month I had these boots. You can also see the stitching is starting to pull out on the inside of the left boot. I cannot tie this off or get it to stop unless I glued it or something. Also the veneer is all peeling off the boot heels and they are really starting to look bad. I paid a lot for these boots and had wanted them for quite a time before I made the purchase. I am upset because I really had hopes that even though these were expensive (for my budget) that they would last me a long time making it worth the investment. I have not abused these boots at all: walking my dog in the neighborhood not in deep snow. I'm really hoping that Sorel can help me out. I have contacted them and I'll let y'all know what happens next. Customer service was wonderful on the phone so far. I don't obviously want a refund, but I love these boots and would absolutely be psyched to have another pair making it worth the initial investment I already made. January 26, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Investment I'M so glad I read many reviews beforehand. I got a half size larger.. which I do often normally. Lots of wiggle toe room. Worth every dollar. As other reviews stated; they are a LIL challenging to get on.. But ALL U do widen the laces b4 you slide them babies on. Then they fit right on I put it on l January 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely love these boots!!! I deliberated over ordering these boots due to the price and I finally did it. I just received them last night and I am so glad I ordered them. I absolutely love them....they are stylish, lightweight, warm and comfortable. I normally wear a size 7.5 in shoes and I got the black boots in an 8 and they are perfect! One of my best purchases ever!!!! January 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Boots Ever After reading all reviews, I initially went up a half size. Those were too big. I ended up ordering my normal size and they are perfect. With that being said, I basically use these boots to do everything and don't wear very thick socks with them. I have other Sorel boots for actual snow activities. These are fashionable and great for shopping or anything. My oldest daughter also has a pair and I tell her that she bops around in them like a snow princess. Order them. You won't be disappointed. January 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by want to purchase the short style/version love these boots- please make the short carly available :) thanks January 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE these boots! I bought the Conquest Carly(awesome name) boots almost a year ago and I'm in <3!! I get compliments and give recommendations everywhere I go! They really stand out! I live In NY so I needed something that was warm and waterproof and these are perfect because I don't have to sacrifice style like many of my friends do! I bought the Cinnamon style which is great to match with anything because of the brown and black accents. I bought a size 6.5 which is what I usually wear and i have a little room but thats good for wearing thick socks. Its much easier to wear these boots if your wardrobe consists of lots of skinny jeans and/or leggings. This was my first purchase from Sorel but will not be my last! January 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great looking boots These boots look just like the ones worn in hunger games. Sexy & fun looking!!! I got the dark brown boots. Definitely recommend these boots, hard to get on until they get stretched. Takes about 6 wears to break in. So glad I did because they are adorable. I wear 7 1/2 & bought 7 1/2 & they perfect after I broke them in. January 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely Love!! I am in love with these boots! I got the black ones. I wear a 9 in running shoes and got a 9 in these boots to allow for extra socks. It is true what the others say about the rubbing, but it is also true that if you wear 2-3 pairs of socks, the rubbing goes away entirely. Yesterday I walked around in them for about five miles and could have easily walked five more. I walked on a trail that was composed of mostly paved greenway, but also crushed and rocky gravel. The slight heel was not the best match for the portions of the trail with rocky gravel--but that's not really what they're made for (I didn't know there would be gravel on this trail). Overall, this boot is amazing. It's waterproof and super warm since you have to wear multiple socks to keep it from rubbing. I will be wearing these all winter. January 4, 2015
