Men’s Cheyanne™ Lace Full Grain Leather Boot is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 75.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits nicely I always have trouble finding a pair of boots that I can wear without some sort of discomfort. These boots feel very comfortable and they look very stylish. Why did I take off one star? One time I wore these without a pair of long socks and when I was walking the collar kept hitting against my leg. It got worse when I walked the stairs it became painful to walk. I got home and saw that my legs had bruises. Now, I learned to wear a thick long socks when I wear these boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall good, almost excellent I wore the right boot when I had a cast on my ankle and it stretched about a half size up from my left boot from hopping around. I'm extremely picky so I had to buy another pair of the same boots since I liked the style and quality. The boot just stretched from hopping around in it for two weeks, but that kinda makes sense.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Falls apart after light use I got these for Christmas 2015. Having just moved to Portland, OR, I needed a solid rain boot for the cold, wet winter months. I only used the boots for an hour or two per day while at the dog park and only during the rainy days. Still, the rubber around my toes have started cracking and they are no longer effective for their purpose. Truly disappointing, would not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Los Angeles to Denver I moved from Los Angeles to Denver in 2013 and have been putting up with boots that were never intended for use in snow ever since. Weather proofing spray helped, but never really fixed the problem. I could not be more happy wth my purchase of my boots! They are warm, they keep my feet dry, and they are comfortable! Really happy with their performance.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from True To Size Unlike Sorrel claims, these boots DO run true to size. I wear a 10.5 and ordered an 11 based on the claim that these boots run "slightly small". Much to my dismay, the boots I ordered were too big. I now have to send them back for a size 10.5 Other issues with these boots are the position of the tongue folds, the width of the boot, and the rubber boot itself. The position of the tongue folds put pressure on my ankle bones to where it is just about unbearable. I will give them time to break-in and hopefully this will eliminate the problem. If not, I will be returning the boots. These boots are VERY wide. There is at LEAST 1/2" worth of room on both sides of my feet inside these boots. Also, the rubber with which the boot itself is constructed, is quite flimsy; not hard like the Eddie Bauer Duck Boots I had in the 1980's, but more like the rubber used to construct rain boots. I predict over not too much time, this will cause the boots to develop cracks; especially if you wear your boots while driving. If you drive a manual transmission (stick shift) such as myself, I believe this will hasten the wear and formation of cracks in the boots. I suppose time will tell. If they do crack, I will be sending them in for a refund under the 1 year warranty.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from For style only It's a bummer to write a bad review. I had to have a waterproof and warm winter boot. I bought these for both purposes but I was not satisfied in either category. I work outside 4 days a weeks The boots wet out easily. Then my toes freeze. Even if they don't get wet inside they do not provide enough warmth for comfort. I've only been out in 20 to 30 degree weather so I don't understand how these can be realistically rated to -25. Fit is perfect but alittle wide which is fine but the back inside seam put a lot of pressure on my Achilles' tendon making them practically useless. Sorry but no dice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Issue with glue binding sole The sole came right off. The leather never failed. The laces never failed. The tongue never failed. But the sole....the glue holding the sole to the boot wasn't up to snuff. In the middle of the season, I feel my toes wet. It's because the soles are no longer adhered to the rest of the body. I now have no snow worthy boots...and there's 12 inches of snow outside.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wet Socks I got these for Christmas, and I wanted to love these boots. Love the look and the comfort when trying them on. The first time I wore them in about an inch of snow, and my feeT were damp and cold. I thought maybe a little snow got in them, and I tried wearing them the next day, and by the time I had walked outside for a few minutes my feet were cold and wet again. Very disappointed because I love the look, but every time I wear these my feet get wet and cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gift For My Boyfriend I gave these boots to my boyfriend as an early Christmas gift, & he loves them! Based on other reviews, I did get the boots one size up, & that proved to be the right choice! He loves how easy they are to step into, so he can step out of our place whenever needed! They're also stylish! Glad I picked these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Size Matters Just got these and was worried about the size based on previous reviews. I am a solid 10.5 in Clarks and OluKai shoes. I prefer an 11 in Vans and Nike because I have a wide foot and like them a little roomier. Anyway, I ordered these boots in an 11.5 and they fit perfectly - room for a thick wool sock if I want, but not at all necessary in order to fill them out. Also at 1 size up over my normal shoe size the width is just fine. I hope this is helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Boot I bought my boots specifically for a trip to Colorado. They were softer and warmer than I expected. I had excellent traction in the snow and decent traction on the ice. They are actually more comfortable than most tennis shoes I wear. If I didn't live in Southern California, I'd wear them all the time!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but run way small. Love this boot... it's a more fashion-conscious version of the huge/tall Sorel snow boots many people have, especially in Black. This is a great option for New York City, and for when you don't want to look like a complete goob in other massive snow boots. They're super warm, dry, and seem well-made enough. My only negative is the sizing. Normally I wear a 10.5 in everything. I bought an 11 in these, and ended up having to exchange for 12's (11.5's might have worked, but they were sold out).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Worth the Money These boots did not hold up. My wife bought me these boots as a gift. I don't get to wear them often because to the climate of the south. I wore them in the rain and cold and they did ok. I have had these for less than 2 years and there is a large crack in the rubber top of the boot where it bends when you walk. I think that if I spend this much on a pair of boots they should be made to last.
Date published: 2016-01-13
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Crack after less than two years I would not recommend this product. After less than two years, I developed a crack in the rubber which renders the boot completely useless as it is no longer waterproof. The warranty only lasts a year unlike some competitors, so I am now stuck with a boot that leaves my feet cold and wet. I am very disappointed because up to this point I loved these boots as they were warm and stylish. But if they cannot be sustain use and continue to be waterproof, then I will certainly take my business elsewhere.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Winter boot Purchased these boots because I live in Buffalo, Newyork and needed a nice "reliable" winter boot. These boots are the worst boot I've ever purchased. my feet/socks are CONSTANTLY WET and COLD. The first time I put these on, my feet and socks somehow got wet. SO DISSAPOINTED in this particular product. I am writing this review at work right now and my socks and bottom of the insole is soaked. these boots are rarely worn by me. everything looks great from the outside, But my intent was not only the look of the product, but how I was going to use these boots. These should not be getting wet just by walking to my vehicle. I don't get it. Its not like I'm walking in 2 feet of snow for hours on end. I walk to my car and into work. ANYONE WHO LIVES IN A SNOWY, COLD, DAMP climate should not purchase this sorel product. waste of 130 dollars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall a great product I bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas. I had him try them on for size a week beforehand and when I asked for them back he told me I would have to pry them off his cold dead feet. Needless to say he has worn them everyday since then with great results. His old Sorels were a 10. I bought a 10.5 and they fit perfectly. The boots are definitely made for short, wide feet though. I would definitely take that into consideration when ordering. He works at a brewery in CT and thus far they have performed wonderfully with lots of water and no heat in the building. Overall a great purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, Stylish Boot Bought online which always worries me because I can't try them on. I bought a size up out of fear and glad I did. I have a little room to wear a thick pair of socks should i need to. When in doubt, order a 1/2 size up. Great look. Super warm. These will be daily wear to the office all winter. For those looking for help regarding size, I generally wear: Converse All Stars: 10.5 North Face Chilkat: 12.0 Nike Free: 11.5 Reebok Running:11.0

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Last Forever I ordered these boots because the last pair I purchased lasted from 1983. Yes over 31 years of wear and service. And my new pair arrived on time and are of the same quality. Very pleased!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY Worst quality boots I've ever come across. They were great for the first half a year or so, until they started to form cracks at the creases around the shoe's toebox. Now, its been about two years with less than average use, and my boots have more than a few holes due to cracks or seam blowouts. Save your money and wait for real Bean Boots.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Perfect for cold/rainy weather I love these boots. The only negative thing I have to say is I wear a size 13 and they look a little goofy around the toes because they are so wide.
Date published: 2015-11-04
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice I haven't had the priveledge of wearing these out into the rain/snow yet, but they seem to be made of high quality materials. I have been looking for a pair of rain/snow boots for years but find them all to be rather unappealing to the eye. These are so fashionable and comfortable!! I am an 18 year old female who normally wears a size 9 in women's and I got an 8 (in men's obviously) and they fit perfectly in the length (maybe a bit small) but are very wide. It isn't a major problem since there are laces that I can have tied very tightly. But the rubber part of the shoe at the front (that clearly doesn't have laces) is still too wide and the front of my foot slides around. But I will take this slightly unsatisfactory quality over any other rain boot I've ever seen or tried on. Also, they are a bit more insulated than I had previously thought- so don't expect to wear these when it is above 50, your feet will be very hot. Overall, terrific purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Most uncomfortable expensive boot Usually i dont write reviews but in this case i have to make an exception...i was so looking forward to getting this product but when i wore them for the first time i found myself in incredible pain. It seems that when the boot is laced the leather tongue pushes into the inner portion of the ankle. I cant believe no one has mentioned this before as i would have considered another brand

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These Boots Are Amazing! I personally hate wearing boots and haven't worn or owned a pair in over two decades. Finally after not wanting to go through another blizzard in sneakers I broke down and purchased a pair of boots. After researching several pairs I settled on purchasing it through Sorel. The boots are comfortable, they aren't too snug/tight, they keep my feet warm, protect me from rain and snow. They also look amazing. I have recommended this pair and company to several friends. I will never purchase another pair of boots elsewhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boots I love this boot because it is completely waterproof, durable, extremely warm, comfortable, and even stylish! The only con I have found so far is that they look fat when you put them on but I'm sure once I wear them for a while it will go away

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stay away from these!!! This is the WORST BOOT EVER! I would high recommend not purchasing. Bought a pair last year and the front of the boot began to let water in. Customer service advised to return for a replacement (since it was covered under the product warranty). The replacement was received and on first wearing them, my toes are wet yet again! This is a terrible, terrible, terrible product and I will not be recommending this brand of boot to anyone!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THESE BOOTS I got these boots for christmas 2012 and by christmas 2014 they had already worn out. The rubber is not made of a durable material and a hole already developed in my boots on both feet. I hardly wear these out and I only got 2 winters out of them. The one year warranty is obviously not sufficient for the price paid for these boots. I will never buy another Sorel product after what I spent for essentially a two winter rental on these terribly made boots.
Date published: 2015-01-10
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Depends on what you want? I wanted a boot to handle Portland's wet and cold mornings, yet handle snow driven ski days. This boot does it all. Being more a running shoe and flip-flop kind of guy, I am super critical of fit and comfort. Wear a thicker cotton or ski sock and you are toasty, go barefoot and you have a bit of room with no hot spots and still warm on those 25* morning dog walks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boot Got this boot from christmas. I usually wear a size 9, but I required a 9.5 in this boot. Very comfortable boot. Not like a typical, cheaper boot that requires a weeks worth of blisters to break in. Only complaint is the laces feel a bit cheap, but those can easily be upgraded for $5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Boot I have ever owned I love this boot like crazy. I got a great deal on them and have worn them ever since I got them for my job. I have even convinced guys and girls at work to get them. Great liner and doesn't require a lot of break in time

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good My new boots have been keeping my feet warm and dry in a really snowy Philly winter. Good grip on the snow/ice so far. A bit restrictive to wear around the office so I wear them to work and then change shoes there. But that's just me I could see someone else wearing them all day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shipped used Couple things... Overall, good product. I normally wear a 10 and heard these ran small so ordered a 10.5. Still too small so swapped for an 11 which worked. But final pair Sorel sent were clearly used as they're dirty which is disappointing. Not going to go thru hassle of returning an online order (a 2nd time) but quality control should be better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value Upon receipt of the boots, the fit was very good as was the construction of the boots. The lining was actually a little lighter than the LL Bean boots which should prevent your feet from "sweating". Color was good and they were not heavy/clunky. So far, so good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Men’s Cheyanne™ Lace Full I have worn Sorel since the 70's in Alaska. However, with these, I had to go up to a 13 from a 12, and I had too much pressure on the ankles from the laces and could not adjust them accordingly. It's too bad I had to send them back and will try another style. Oh well...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Next Model Should Be Better What's good: - Leather is of good quality - Boot isn't too large for casual walking What's okay, but could be better: - The boot is only waterproof about an inch above the rubber bottom because the tongue is connected from that point up - The lining isn't sewn onto the bottom, so you nearly pull it out with your foot What's bad: - The red logo on the sole will bleeds onto socks - There is no effective insulation between your toes an the rubber

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Both toes leak water I live in Oregon. I've lived here for a long time and have never had appropriate rain shoes. I was so excited to finally get some Sorels, although I had heard the quality had diminished a bit since purchased by Columbia. Well, both toes excessively leak water. Walking a couple blocks outside in light to only pooled rain and they leak water. Might be better off ordering some old Sorels off a second site.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look good, feel great These are exactly what I wanted and I'm very pleased with my purchase. I work in Manhattan in an office environment and I feel very comfortable popping these on for the trek in to work and they look just fine under more formal pants. Obviously great for non-workday wear as well. These are quickly becoming some of my favorites. One caveat - wear thick socks with these, as they do rub a bit on the calves.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made a good choice For the money, you can't beat these boots. With a pair of good socks, these babies keep your feet warm and dry. Chicago has some serious winter going down this year and these are doing great! They also look pretty fashionable and can wear around anywhere.
