I'M IN LOVE...

I must say that not only are these the warmest boots i own, they are the most comfortable too. I bought these online on a trip to the US over christmas (the best investment on the trip by far). I trampled through my fare share of snow and my feet remained warm and dry the whole time. I tend to agree about the leather around the bottom remaining wet for a while, but i didn't find it an issue. I was so excited it was snowing when i got back to London, just cause i could wear my boots ;)
Love the style, but 1 concern

Living in Ottawa I need a warm boot that will keep my feet warm and dry and still looks nice. I was really excited when I found the Shila boot. It looks great, is really warm, very light-weight and unbelievably comfortable. My only complaint about the boot is the leather base of the boot. The sole is pretty thin and therefore the leather on the bottom part of the boot ends up getting very wet. I have the Shila boot in the light tan leather, and I find that my boot always look wet. The leather soaks up water and does not dry easily. My foot has remained mostly dry though. I would recommend that if this boot were redesigned to have the leather edge on the bottom be replaced with a more durable type of leather or some other non-water absorbing material like rubber. I think I'll stick to wearing these when it's really cold out and wear my rubber based boots for when it's snowing and wet.
