How to Measure Your Foot

  • Place your feet flat on a piece of paper and mark your longest toe and the back of your foot. It's best to do this standing and wearing socks
  • Measure the length (cm) straight from your longest toe to the back of your foot using a ruler or measuring tape.
  • Use the chart to find your size.

Women's Joan of Arctic™ Moonstone Boot is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great winter boots! These boots are incredible! I love the rich warm color of the grey, and the way the rubber covers the entire upper toe makes them fashionable, yet functional. I never worry about “ruining” them in wet or muddy conditions, because they are defined specifically for that warm weather. Also, I hate having my toes crushed together- this has a roomy toe bed, even with socks. 100% happy with this purchase- I won’t be needing new boots for a long time- these are clearly designed to last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Boots They are sure warm and that’s exactly what I’ll need for the snow time. They fit a little big, but I’m assuming they are for wearing heavy or thick socks with. Great purchase and I’m happy I got them for $100.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these boots. My usual size is a 10. I have really wide feet so I would not have been able to wear winter socks. I received the 11 today. They are perfect. I hope they do not stretch with wear. The 10 is being returned. These boots are beautiful. Can’t wait for the snow!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, warm, a little bulky Boot is warm and comfortable, but feels a little bulky.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute of too Big I order these when I saw them on sale but to be honest they were not as cute as the picture when I got them and they were too big since I order bigger per the reviews. Joan of Arctic are bulky, so bulky and too big was just not going to work. So I returned them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute and warm boots! I have worn them everyday since getting them and so happy with them! live in Chicago where it have been anywhere from 45°F to 15°F. With these boots and a pair of warm socks there keep my feet toasty. Once it gets to 15°F or below though you many want to layer socks a bit since it does get a bit chilly in them due to the rubber. I do have to undo the laces and redo them everytime I take them off/put back on but I am ok with this as long as they keep my feet dry and warm. Usually a 2 minute routine. I am usually a 6.5 and have wide feet so I went up to a 7 and have enough room for layering but not too big that I feel like I am wearing clown shoes. The traction seems good and haven't had an accident in them thus far. They are also very cute boots in person! I have felt the discomfort in the back heel a few times but I notice this happens if I don't tighten them too loosely or don't wear long enough socks. So make sure to lace them up tight but comfortable. Love these and very happy with my purchase c:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I selected these boots as a Christmas gift because I was going to be in a wilderness first responder class, doing outside scenarios in the snow for 10 days, in the Lake Tahoe basin. We received record snowfall over the course of my class. I wore regular wool socks and my feet were not wet at all throughout all of our activities outside laying in the snow as well as digging out our cars and walking on unplowed walking paths to get food. I could not be more impressed with these boots! The temperatures were into the negatives at points and my feet were not cold. I am thoroughly impressed with this product and I look forward to wearing these boots for many years to come.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I had high hopes for these as they are meant to protect against cold up to -25*. Unfortunately, they don't. I recently moved to Montana, where it actually gets that cold, and my feet freeze in these. The Tivoli II model does a much better job of keeping my feet warm. I also got a second pair of these as a gift for my mom and she has the same problem. They do not protect against the cold at all, even with thick wool socks. Additionally, the snaps on my right boot both came off within 4-5 wears. They do look good for a snow boot, but that doesn't much matter if they can't keep you warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional and Fabulous After many hours of researching the best boot for winter I knew I had to order the Joan of Artic boot. What I did not know is that it would be as fabulous as I hoped it would be! Not only is it a beauty it is also perfectly warm and functional. Not to mention affordable! The color combo is just divine and with a little pop of fur it adds that feminine touch all girls love. I highly recommend this boot! Not only will it keep you warm and dry but it will also keep you looking fabulous!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Womens Joan of Artic-Moonstone Boot This product is well made designed for extremely cold weather and winter environments snow, sleet and ice. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product disappointed in side snaps I love love love these boots! I looked for a long time to choose a pair that are warm and stylish! These are both. Unfortunately after the second time wearing them one of the snaps on the side broke and I couldn't snap the side strap down. The side straps come off quite frequently which is okay to just snap them back but not when the snap breaks. Than a week and a half later the same thing happened to one of the snaps on the other boot. So I am sad they broke but I still love my boots. It's too bad after a week and a half I need to take these beautiful boots in to get repaired.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute and Waterproof I bought these to see what the hype was all about at what I considered a fair price. I wear an 8 bought an 8 and they're perfect. They stayed dry in the snow/rain SLUSH. However, they are extremely slippery. The side snap constantly comes undone and I don't have huge calves. I'll probably super glue it shut it's that annoying. They're decent but wouldn't purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful quality workmanship I purchased these as a Christmas gift for my daughter. So I'm almost hoping they do not fit so I can have them for myself! They are simply luxurious! The color is much richer than the photos! I know she will love them and I can't wait to see her face as she opens them on Christmas morning!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Runs Small These boots are beautiful so I was very disappointed when I could barely get them on my feet and they were clearly too small. I used the directions provided to measure each of my feet and ordered up. After paying a hefty shipping charge to return them, I'm reluctant to try the next size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bummed! I was so excited to get these boots, I measured my feet based on their size chart and ordered a half size larger just in case. Much to my surprised they were too small. I was really bummed - I just shipped them back and am crossing my fingers that they still have a pair in the size I need. I'm sure these are great boots, but I'd highly recommend ordering larger than normal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots Not sure I love the color, but fit is perfect, comfortable and very warm, snug. Haven't had the opportunity to try them out in real icy conditions but they seem to have good, sturdy tread. I'll probably get another pair in a different style. Great quality product

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like ok Bought a 10, in other boots will give me room, not so with these, they are short, right at my toes. Keeping them tho, cause shipping back costs too much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The hardest boot to get on!!! I bought these since I hear rave reviews about Sorel. They look great, I'm sure they're great in the cold. HOWEVER, you have to unlace the entire boot to get your foot inside. It's like the smallest hole to get your foot in but then once in the fit is great. This means that when I work downtown and bundle up I need at least ten minutes prep time to unlace the boots and struggle to get my foot in. And I mean STRUGGLE!! My foot isn't fat, there's no disorders to my bones and I've never experienced anything like this. I haven't worn them out. I'm considering returning them. I thought maybe I could break them in around the house but nope. Still extremely difficult to get my foot in. I wouldn't consider ordering again. I liked that Sorel carries 1/2 sizes but this is insane.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Snowboots! I spend a lot of time outdoors playing with the children I nanny. Ordered these boots looking for something that would keep my feet warm during our cold Minnesota winters. I'm normally a size 6, but I ordered a 6.5! They are a little big on me if I wear normal socks, but fit perfectly with boot socks. We just had our first major snowfall over the weekend and these boots performed wonderfully. The liner inside the boots kept my feet perfectly warm, and gave me the traction I needed while walking on snow and ice. My favorite part about the boots is beautiful design with my favorite colors black, grey, and blue. I've received lots of compliments!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy duty strong boot Very well made. Will last a lifetime. True to fit however when you get into larger sizes they get very wide. I wear 81/2 and it fit well. make sure you get the correct size, has not came. And it cost $37 to send back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A bit small, but just right! I was unsure what size shoe to get, and I read mixed reviews on sizing for the Joan of Arctic. I typically wear an 8 in most shoes sizes, but I ended choosing to order a 7.5. When I first put them on they were a bit snug and small feeling, i'm wearing them with a thick fuzzy sock, but the sizing is just right for me. I feel if I got a 8 it would've been too big and bulky to wear around. With a fuzzy sock theses are perfect, and my feet stay extremely warm. I'm happy with my 7.5 purchase! The shoe overall is very nice, cute, and perfectly priced for what you get!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Boot This is my fourth pair of Sorels but my first pair of Joan of Arctic boots. I purchased two pair of these. One for me, the other for my daughter. I agree that this particular pair runs smaller in the length when compared to my other boots in the same size. That said, it is slight and not a deal breaker for me. I can still wear thick wool socks with enough wiggle room. These boots are snug to slip on and need the laces loosened well to do so. This is normal. These boots aren't sissy boots! They are meant for serious cold weather wear in heavy snow conditions. The fit around the ankle helps you to be more steady and secure when walking in slippery snow and uneven ground. Don't mistake fitting snug where they need to be, for being too small. If you are waivering, size up! If you wear a 7-71/2 you shouldn't swim in an 8. I am a solid size 7 and the 7's I purchased for myself are fine. My daughter is sometimes a 7, sometimes a 71/2. I purchased a 71/2 for her and they are perfect. However, had I tried them on for myself in the store, I would have purchased the 71/2 which would have accommodated two pair of heavy socks. Aesthetically, they are beauties! I was anxious that the grey color would be too light in real life and impractical. Not so. They are as pictured according to my iPad! I love this color combo for its neutrality and the snake detail makes this pair a bit more fun. Overall, I highly recommend. Sorel and quality go hand in hand!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from WAY TOO SMALL So disappointed. They run incredibly small and now the size I need, 8.5, is sold out. I have to pay to send them back and hope that an 8.5 comes back in stock at some point. Terrible.
