How to Measure Your Foot

  • Place your feet flat on a piece of paper and mark your longest toe and the back of your foot. It's best to do this standing and wearing socks
  • Measure the length (cm) straight from your longest toe to the back of your foot using a ruler or measuring tape.
  • Use the chart to find your size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too small I loved the look of these boots but they were just too small. One foot fit perfectly, while the other was insanely tight. Never had that happen to me with any shoe purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wet Feet I bought these last year in the midst of Chicago's 'Snowmageddon'...the only so-called waterproof boots available anywhere in my size. I wear 9.5 and ordered size 10, which slip on easily and are just roomy enough. They are pretty cute and not too bulky (compared to serious boots like Caribou), but after a short time in the snowy yard with the dogs, I could feel moisture. Not soaking, but cold, moist and unpleasant, for sure. I originally thought maybe I was imagining it, but it has happened consistently, every time, since last year. I would absolutely disagree that these boots are suitable for heavy snow. They seem very vulnerable to any wetness, apparently above the seam/rubber portion. They have been retired to light duty and I am still in search of a boot that will keep my feet warm and dry in actual snow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 'Dream' Snow Boot The very first snow boot that fits perfectly with room for an extra thick sock my feet measures exactly 26.5=91/2 size but I ordered my normal shoe size 11and they fit perfectly thank you Sorel so much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In time for the snow! I received this one day before our big snow storm and I was so well equipped. I ordered a size 9 when I am a size 8.5 and they fit perfect, so buy a size up. These boots keep my feet warm and dry and because of the rubber I don't have to stick them by the fire to dry when I come back in, they dry right away. They are also super cute, they go great with my jeans or fleece lined tights. These are quickly becoming my favorite pair. I can leave them laced up and slide my feet in and out of them or tighten them up when I'm going on a hike. They are light enough to go on a hike too, without feeling like you're adding extra weight on. Great buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It I wear a 5.5…I got a 6…it works, can wear thick socks. I think a 5.5 would have worked too. The color is pleasing. Natural and neutral with no glaring trims. Really like the color. I also like how the back dips a bit for the calves…for someone with athletic calves it makes for more comfort and more appeal. Comfortable too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These boots are amazing! They are so comfortable - they fit great, with just enough room for heavier socks if I feel the need (I love to ice fish, so layering is key!). Feels like I am walking on air! Extremely functional, yet very fashionable as well - I've already gotten many compliments on them!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from heavy for my feet I am sorry to say that I was disappointed with this boots.I read all the good reviews but seems like it came out the opposite for me.It was heavy and very uncomfortable as it didn't bend easily.I guess it's the kind of feet I have. But in fairness the material would last a lifetime.I will try some other styles.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reliable Snow Boot I really needed a reliable snow boot. I purchased this boot because I could adjust the calf size with the laces. I have very thin calves and this boot fits perfect in the calf. It is a little on the heavier side and becomes uncomfortable when walking around for a few hours. However, it doesn't seem to leak and generally keeps my feet from freezing. Note, I have not been able to use it in extreme temperatures yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Boots It was finally time for me to get some big girl snow boots that were more function than fashion. After weeks of debating between various styles and brands, I made the decision to buy these for weekend in rural Western Pennsylvania. I was so glad that I bought these because it snowed on and off the whole weekend and there was already over a foot on the ground. I wore them for the first time for a walk for over an hour. My feet stayed warm and dry and I didn't feel like I needed to break them in. They were perfectly comfortable. I am normally an 8 in most styles but chose the 8.5 so that if needed I could wear 2 pairs of socks. I wore these with a thin pair and then a thicker athletic style sock. Definitely one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for slush Such awesome boots. I can stomp around any type of slushy ground and my feet are dry. The boots are very sturdy and have a good grip on the sole. I am usually a size 6, but I got a 6.5 so I can wear them with nice warm socks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable with Good Traction The boots are attractive and provide warmth and good traction in sloppy winter weather. I usually wear an 8 or 8 and 1/2. I ordered the 8 and 1/2 and the boots fit perfectly. I can even get a thick pair of socks on and they still fit comfortably.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them! I tried on some Sorels at a local show store before buying these online. I normally wear a size 7 1/2 and ordered a 8 1/2. This is a perfect fit. They are warm, reasonably light, and are great for walking in ice and snow. I wear them outside and my fuzzy Sorel slippers inside!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Boot ahhhh this boot has exceeded my expectations and more. I was looking for a good winter boot as this winter has been ROUGH with the cold and constant snow. I was hesitant about getting these online without trying them on but honestly they are awesome! The thinsulate keeps my feet super warm, sometimes they sweat even haha. They feel a bit heavy at first but you just have to get used to it. The tying on this boot is great, you can pull extra hard and the things holding the shoe strings won't come off. I wore them to shovel the driveway for like an hour and my feet were nice and toasty. I would def recommend getting these. Wear them with thermal socks and you're set for the day :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love them! these boots are by far the best winter boot I have ever purchased. They fit very true to size and are not too heavy or too light. They are made very well! Finally a boot that really does keep my feet warm and dry. They are wonderful on slick surfaces. They keep me on my feet! I do believe I am a forever fan of Sorel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Womens Cumberland Boot (Hawk, Deep Teal) Just got my new boots in the mail yesterday. Just in time for another big snow storm in Michigan. Our winters have been extremely bad this year and of course I didn't have any boots. I've been searching online for a pair of boots that would be great for snow and for the below zero temps that we've had. I use to own a pair of Sorel Caribou boots about 15 years ago. They were great winter boots but were very heavy and clumsy to wear. I was fortunate to find a size 9 in the Cumberland boots since it is so late in the season. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe and wanted to make sure there was room for a heavy sock. The size 9 was PERFECT! There is alittle over a half size left in the boot which is perfect for that little extra room. I wore them last night outside in the fresh foot of snow we got. They were perfectly warm and light on the feet for walking. They are probably a bit heavy for some people, especially if you're use to the popular UGG boots. Compared to the Sorel Caribou boots that I had, these are light as a feather. I do recommend walking in them for a time to get use to them. My right foot was a bit sore from walking and breaking them in. Other then that they are perfect! Thank you Sorel!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great WINTER boot Living near the Great Lakes in the north means there is always LOTS of snow! This boot is not only waterproof, but it's easy on, easy off and SUPER WARM! It's one of the few brands that keeps your toes warm all day long in the snow! Our wind chills/outdoor temps are often below 0 and this is my staple footwear for winters. Tall enough to keep snow out but not so tall it limits movement. A GREAT BUY! Worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these boots Very sturdy and high quality boots. I'm using them to follow my high school son and his alpine skiing team during the races. I'm trudging all over the bottom of ski hills and they give me great traction and stability. They are a little chilly in the toes when the temps get really low so I put some toe warmers in and they are perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoes and warm!, just a little snug I normally wear a size 8 and usually buy boots a 1/2 size bigger, but read the reviews and decided an 8 was probably right. I still should've gotten an 8.5 since I have to wear very thin socks to make them fit properly, but they're very warm so it's not a problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable Boots These boots are very comfortable and keep your feet dry and warm. If you have a wide foot, they run a little small so go up a size. These boots are far superior to the Colombia boots I had previously.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very stylish My Sorel Boots are fantastic! They are as comfortable as slippers an warm as blankets right out of the dryer. Very stylish an durable. Lightweight too. Not a heavy boot at all. 5 stars from me!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great traction I bought these boots for a women 84 years of age. She says they are great that the boots keep her feet warm and have really good traction on the ice and snow. She doesn't worry anymore about slipping and falling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly Pleased! Ordered these after Christmas. Chicago winters are brutal, and I must say I'm quite impressed with the fit and the warmth also, as I do alot of walking while commuting to and from work. I ordered a 1/2 size up, and they fit perfect, with enough toe room for an extra pair of socks. They look more feminine too, unlike some other klunky boots.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TO BIG! I read all the revies that said order the boots in a larger size. I ordered a half size bigger and they are WAY to big on me, plus they keep my feet warmer without socks on. In order to get the correct size you have to re-order them and get charged again and send the old ones back and once they get them they credit your account. But now they only have 5 and 5.5 left so I am afraid to send them back when I can't order a new pair. I am totally bummed out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best of both worlds Stylish and not as heavy as the Caribou boot. I will wear it around town as well as for snow shoeing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tight fit on front half of foot Had to return. I was so excited to get boots but the fit was to tight. I don't have wide or large feet. I normally take a 7 1/2 but ordered a 8 and still didn't work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Winter Boots I have Ever Bought This was my first purchase of Sorel boots. EVeryone told me these were the best. Definitely worth the price. The reviews said they ran small and to order 1/2 a size up but I found them to be true to size. The boots are very, very comfortable. Easy slip on and off. After hiking through the snow to get to the lake to ice fish here in Wyoming my feet were still dry. The soles give you great traction on the ice and snow. I didn't slip once. My toes got a little cold after a few hours so I would recommend two pairs of socks. Glad I ordered a half size up. If you live in a very cold, snowy climate I would definitely recommend these boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't wait to wear them up north Finally I found real Sorel boots that were afordable and great looking. My husband has Sorel boots for past 20 years and very pleased with them, especially when we go up-north MN to our cabin in the winter. I wanted to purchase something like that as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute and efficient These boots are super cute in person. Fit true to size. I wear 7 1/2 and ordered the 7 1/2. Fit was great. They kept my feet nice and cozy in below freezing temps. All around very pleased with this puchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything Promised and More I live in Minnesota--the state that's graced with winter for on average 6-8 months of the year--warm reliable boots are a must and Sorel has never disappointed. I need a new pair of boots last year and this was the first and only place I shopped. I've worn Sorel's all my life, so I'm somewhat of a brand loyalist; but for good reason! These boots are stylish, warm, and completely functional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I love his boot! I live and work in a ski town and am exposed to the elements all day most days. These are my go to boot. Warm and good traction walking on uneven and variable surfaces. They are just big enough for ski socks or even thicker wool socks without cramping and cutting off circulation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best pair of boots ever! I just started a new job that requires me to be outside several times a month no matter what the weather is. With the advice of family, I decided to look for Sorels so I would finally have a pair of boots that would keep my feet dry but would look nice and I wouldn't be clumpinng around like I was in a cowyard. This pair of boots is not only cute and fasionable, but keep me on my feet on the ice, and are so easy to wear - for however long my day is. Wonderful! Plus, I had coupon codes that helped with the purchase!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Boots They look and feel great on but I am still trying on socks because as I walk in these boots the socks get pushed down and end up scrunched up around my feet. I wore them at at a winter event where the temperature was around 30-40 degrees and there was snow on the ground. My feet were slightly cold which concerned me since I was not in the back country. Boots that are higher do not fit me well. I am not sure if I am going to keep these boots because of the sock issue but for some people I think they would be great boots. I had my old Sorels for over 20 years and wish they still made them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from quailty product I have had these boots for a few weeks now. Ive gone ice fishing with my husband twice(they have been great waterproof wise around the slushy snow and ice holes) shoveled snow a few times and went sledding in these boots. They're great for the Wisconsin winter I got an eight even though I normally wear a seven but I wanted wool socks to fit in too and the eights are great with a heavy sock!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cold feet My feet are always very cold there is not much that can keep my feet warm. So these didn't work for me as far as warmth but, they might work for others. The construction of them is very nice though.... I normally wear 7 1/2 shoe so I thought a 8 would be perfect with a heavy sock but, no to big

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the Mountains These boots are great! Very warm and comfortable at 5 degrees outside in the snow. I expect to wear these for many years. I normally wear a 91/2 but the 10's fit well with extra room in the toe to wiggle my toes. They do fit snug in the width, but they are so warm that you don't need thick socks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great boot but too narrow Sadly I have to return the boots... they are fantastic but just too narrow. I can't go up a size (no 1/2 sizes) because the length is just right but they pinch the sides of my feet even with thin socks on. I wear regular width shoes and used the sizing chart on the website so don't know why they feel so narrow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! I really wanted to find a boot that was comfortable, warm and waterproof. These are it! Super stylish, comfortable, just the right height. I wear a size 9.5, have slightly wider feet and ordered a ten. Fit perfect with room to wear thick socks. I love these boots, now if I can just keep my daughter from stealing them..:)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Feet Feet are warm and dry. I am a size 6 reg but when I read the customer reviews before buying I almost bought a 6 1/2...THE BOOT IS TRUE TO SIZE IF YOU HAVE NORMAL SIZE FEET WITH ROOM TO WEAR THICK SOCKS!!! Thank you I love them.
