gorgeous boots - too small though
I was so excited to receive these boots and I have several other pairs of Sorels, some 7s, mostly 6.5s, so I ordered 6.5. There is no way I could have worn these with anything other than bare feet because they RUN SMALL! I'd order another pair, but I'm already a little irritated that I had to pay to ship them back.

Perfect hiking boots! Size up half a size
I wear a solid 8.5 but purchased a 9 on the advice of other reviews. I have wide feet with bunions & these are perfect! So comfy. Highly recommend them. I switched the laces out to plain ones & they look really great.

Definitely Size UP!
This boot (in black) is phenomenal, but I had to size up because my usual size was waaaay too narrow. Unfortunately since I wear an 11 normally, I had to go up a full size. HOWEVER, the boot is only slightly longer than I'd like, and the width is PERFECT. Boots hardly ever fit me well enough the first few wears but these are an exception! The second time I wore them I had them on all day, and looking awesome, I must say. I was going to buy a pair of those classic caramel leather hikers with red laces, but reviews indicate you have to break them FOREVER and for that kind of $$, I'm out. Enter the Ainsley by Sorel! So far I've worn these stunning red-laced black hikers with jeans and sassy hiking socks and then to work with wide leg black trousers and an off-white crop sweater. Thank you Sorel for this on trend leather hiker that's also water proof!

wide feet? Pass on these
I love the look of these boots but may have wide feet. I ordered my size 7.5 & 8s --for more room- It did not help, I felt like my foot at widest part was being squeezed & uncomfortable--without walking in them and got worse when I walked around -regardless of size, So, I am passing on these slick kicks. I am bummed a wider size in not available. This would have been my first pair of Sorel--now I know they run narrow -IMO-(for my feet) :( Looks like I will have to stick with Dr. Martens for the extra room my odd feet need unless Sorel had wider sizes available.

Cute and Versitile!
These boots are very cute in person and fit true to size. I have quite a few Sorel boots and these are one of my favorite. They are waterproof and warm! Look awesome with rolled up jeans and socks. Dress them up or down!

I wore these boots twice, after getting home after my second time wearing them I noticed that the suede ripped down the seam of the boot. These boots are very comfortable and I loved wearing them (both times) but this is a faulty product will be returning for my warranty reimbursement.

Loved this boot - fit was terrible!!
I tried this boot on in a store, but for one reason or another didn't buy and decided to order on-line. When the size I ordered came in, it was absolutely huge!!! Probably a full size to big. I returned and ordered half size smaller. That size was so tiny that I could barely get my foot into! Am returning that now, too. Terribly disappointed as I originally loved this boot, and I still do! I'm just apprehensive about ordering again!

So Many Compliments!
When wearing the Ainsley, (I ordered the black with the fun red laces) I feel young and Alpen-ish. Like I did when I was a young skier, off to the hills every weekend, not a care in the world! They are lightweight and SO comfy. I have bunions and need a wide toe box and went with my normal size 8.5. Very pleased. I would order again!

Quality shoe
I received my shoes (ordered 8, my regular size) with the intention of wearing slightly thicker winter socks. When I originally put them on I thought i'd be sending them back because they were snug -- but after wearing them around the house, then out a few days they loosened up quite a bit and are perfect now! The quality seems to be really good and they're comfy (and SO many compliments on the red shoelaces!).

Looks great, feels great!
I've been eyeing these shoes for a while, and finally decided to treat myself. I have four other pairs of Sorels, but I heeded wise counsel and ordered a half size up from my other boots. I usually order 9.5, but got these in a 10. They were surprisingly snug out of the box, but have loosened up comfortably with a few wears. The tongue is a bit oddly placed in the left shoe, and I have to wrestle it into place with the laces, but other than that I am pleased.

Small but good
I own other Sorel boots and a size 9 is typically perfect for me. For this style, I had to return the 9's to go up to a 10 (and even the 10 is a little snug). These boots run small but also narrow. Other than that, they are super cute and seem well-constructed.

The quality of these boots are a 10, the comfort a 10, their first outing was in a down pour and my feet remained dry and warm, add how cute and stylish they are I’d recommend them. I’m usually 8.5-9 and needed the 9 .

The Best
This is by far the most comfortable boot I have ever owned! Great fit and feel on my feet. Plus, they are definitely waterproof. Wore them recently during a bad storm and feet were comfy and dry the whole time. Never get rid of this product. I love them so much I bought myself two pairs!

This is a fantastic boot
I love these boots!! Fit slightly small had to order a 9 instead of a 8.5. Toe box is wide enough for my feet with bunions. My feet stayed nice and dry and warm on a rainy day in the Pacific Northwest. I’ll be back for the black ones!

Adorable boots for this fall season.
Love these boots. They are adorable. I’ve worn them with skinny jeans and a pair of holy hanging outside jeans. The only reason these boots get a 4 is they run a little narrow. They will stretch so not sending them back.

Perfect boot for this season in PNW
I should start by saying I debated between the “true to size” option and “slightly large”. In general I am between 7/7.5 and it varies by shoe. Since I knew I’d be wearing thicker socks I went with 7.5 and it was perfect. I was a little scared at first, the leather around the top part of my foot felt a little tight, but after walking in the shoes a bit they feel perfect. I’ve worn all day chasing down kids and walking in rain. I stayed dry and comfortable. Highly recommend!

How do I love thee?
When I first tried these shoes on, I was disappointed, They felt stiff, and a bit too small. But I decided to wear them around the house for a few hours before returning them. Very quickly they softened up and I happily kept them. I have now been wearing them for three weeks and they are my new favorite boots. They are SUPER comfortable. They are not too heavy, and are very dry and warm. I've already worn them in both the snow and the rain. I would say the traction is not quite as great on snow/ice as some other Sorel boots, but they are perfect for wet weather. They are also really easy to get on/off -- which is a huge plus.

These r great hiking boots they run slightly narrow I usually wear a 6.5 but I got a 7. But they are beautiful colors and are extremely comfortable. I love the contrasting laces.
