Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mushy Let me start by saying I’ve never owned a pair of Sorels before. If you have and liked them, you may want to ignore this review as it was the feel not quality I didn’t like. I was impressed upon opening the box. They appeared to be made with quality materials and were just as impressive as the pictures. However, I realized after putting them on that the rubber from the bottom of the boot all the way until about the ankle was one piece of rubber and not very thick compared to other snow boots I’ve owned. It felt like there was no sole to step on and the leather around my calf slid up and down with every step. This cost me $12 in shipping to realize this boot was not for me. I was going to try the Caribou because the sole appears to be much thicker but it’s not worth risking another $12 if I don’t like them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything and more... I got these late in the season, so I did not think I'd use them this year, Wrong. I just got back inside, Wow. My toes have never been so warm after coming inside. These rock. They are comfy and warm. I wish I had bought these sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mens Premium Great boots. No comparison if you live in a cold climate. waterproof, warm, and they look good too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Less bulky, more unique My Caribou boots always seemed bulky. The 1964 have a more streamline sole and the lack of fur on the liner makes slipping pants over the boots easy. Boots runs small so size up 1/2. Return process is a little clunky and will cost you return shipping and time. Boots are warm and meet expectations. If using your boots for work be advised the sole is a little soft and you can feel rocks and ice more in the 1964 than the Caribou. Sole is not as grippy either. The 1964 is a slimmer alternative to the Caribou; great to/from the slopes and around the cabin or in town.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from CHEAP POOR QUALITY I Have had sorel boots since 1972 the 1st two pairs lasted 10 years each of hard use! I have replaced them with 3 pairs in the last 4 years,(sorel replaced them free) but they left me stranded half way thru the past 4 winters. I am using the worn out old pair. cheap rubber , soft, air behind the sole, will keep you dry in a mall.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Men’s 1964 Premium™ T Wool Boot The boots looked different then what I saw on-line, or, what I expected. Having purchased other products in years past, the quality was not there, and, looked different. I accidently ran my finger nails across the leather as I tried them on, and, scratches appeared. That should not happen on such an expensive boot. I have a pair of hunting boots that I purchased about 30 years ago. They still keep my feet dry and warm. The leather is breaking down, and, the soles are worn. Not much to look at, but still do the job. That was a quality boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Run small Wisconsin winters require good boots. Sorel has been our go to for several generations. The 1964 Premium T wool, has a classy vintage look, which my husband liked. The leather upper is good quality. All that being said order at least one whole size up. Tight boots make for cold feet and nobody wants that!
