How to Measure Your Foot

  • Place your feet flat on a piece of paper and mark your longest toe and the back of your foot. It's best to do this standing and wearing socks
  • Measure the length (cm) straight from your longest toe to the back of your foot using a ruler or measuring tape.
  • Use the chart to find your size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots These boots are really well made and very comfortable. The tread isn’t super aggressive which is ideal for city-living tasks like snow shoveling, dog walking, playing in the park, running errands, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gift for Dad I bought these boots for my Dad for Christmas and they were perfect! My family was visiting for Christmas and it began to snow Christmas Eve here in Seattle and we woke up to a lot of snow Christmas Day. My Dad was so happy to unrap a brand new pair of Sorels as he had never had a pair, he immediately threw them on and went for a walk in the snow! They could not have been more perfect! I am a die hard Sorel fan and was so happy to gift them to my Dad, best boots for the snow ever and they last forever!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I saved MY Cape Cod Landscaper with these My boyfriend needed boots, he does landscaping and come winter time it’s plowing and snow/yard cleanups, so needless to say my purchase was based on his inappropriate foot attire for work. I am a SOREL junkie, I myself have the woman’s grey Caribou boots, my daughter has the Carnival in Black and I just bought these 1964 PAC for him... they are so nice. The leather is gorgeous, and brand new yes, they look too good to wear to work but once worn in they are soft and warm and wearable. With them being designed for -40° they are perfect for his work being out in the New England elements. We all love our SOREL boots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pac T Great looking boot, very well built sole great traction on all surfaces. Terrible insole, boot is not made to wear all day! Sole gets cold standing in snow all day, thus toes and feet get cold. Boot wore in 34 degree F weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband loves these boots! My husband had a pair of winter boots for as long as I can remember that were past their prime. He was reluctant to get a new pair but agreed it was time. He loves these boots! They are warm, not too bulky that they don't fit under his jeans if necessary, look like a man's boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great But For Sizing... My only complaint is that the sizing of the boots needs to be more accurate. Ordered them according to the centimeter sizing and they were too tight. Ordered the next cm larger and a bit too loose. Half a cm might have been perfect. I should have ordered two pair at a time and planned to pay return shipping on one pair. Return shipping is pricey on these boots. Otherwise great boots, so warm, my feet are always dry and toasty. Wish I had them years ago!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2nd pair of Sorel's in the last 20 yrs My first pair of Caribou's were bought 20 yrs ago and have been pretty much rock solid for me. I only wore them when i needed so i wouldn't be necessarily wearing down the tread or the inner liner since my beanies are my every day winter boot. But a recent flood in my basement ruined them and I just couldn't get the awful smell out of them. So I bought myself a pair of these Pac T 64's since i wanted less rigid sole and they've been as good as my old caribou's. Size issues are pretty common for most but i didn't have an issue. I'm still breaking them and so far so good. These puppies are super warm so again i only use them when i need to and do not recommend wearing them in the car with the heat on as your feet will sweat for sure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good entry level Sorel boot Boot serves me well this rough winter in the Northeast. Does its job, keeps my feet dry and warm. When these give out I will upgrade to the Caribou for its better, more rugged sole.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Looking, but not Waterproof - Defective Pair I guess I got this pair of boots after hearing great comments for the past 1 year about the brand and how your feet stay dry in the snow etc. My girlfriend has a pair of Sorel for over 1 year and never had issues. I ordered this pair for my birthday - decided to treat myself with a good pair of boot to keep my feet dry and guess what- after 2 min walking outside in the snow- my feet were already wet. Customer service told me that this might be a defective pair, so i returned them- ordered another pair but different Sorel style- hope they work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Buy Bought boots in early spring 2013 and by Dec 2014 boots had cracked above the heel around the Sorel patch. Found that they only carry a year warranty so I am completely out of luck. For what I paid for these boots I fully expect more than a year and nine months of wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FANTASTIC 40 YR OLD BOOTS I have had my boots for 40 years and love them. After much use coaching skiing in Wisconsin, living in New england, and the snow belt of northeast ohio, I am sad to say I need a new pair. What's this only 40 years from a pair of Sorel boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm beyond your expectations Last February, I was taking a 3 day avalanche safety course on Mt. Washington in New Hampshire when my North Face boots began falling apart on the first day. I went out that night and purchased a pair of these Sorel PAC boots. The following day I spent 8 hours in Tuckerman Raving hiking and digging snow pits with the temps with the wind were around -50 F. My feet were exceptionally warm and dry in these boots. Combined with mid weight Smartwool socks, I was astounded how happy my feet were. These boots probably saved my feet from certain frostbite that day. Besides that, these boots are also good for snow shoveling, snow shoeing or just schlepping around in bad weather. Oh and they run a bit large. I usually wear an 10.5 or 11 and a 10 fits me just right. I've had them for almost a year so far and they still look new. Great boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like the look and quality material Just recv the boot, bought it on sale after reading a lot of good reviews. I wear a size 9.5 and bought a size 10 and it is the perfect fit if I wanted to wear some thick socks. The only thing is the inside liner doesn't cover my shin fully if I lace up the boot. Unless I have big calves or the boot is made for slender legs. But I am hoping I can get 20 plus years out of these in CT.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The bees knees Received these as a Christmas gift...These are simply the best boots I've ever owned..This is so far the 3rd worst winter of all time in Chicago...and they have surpassed any and all expectations I might have had... Sometimes, a little slippery on ice...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Boot Bought boots for both my son and me to wear as our primary shoes while in Whistler BC. Super warm, excellent quality and overall a great buy. They aren't as grippy in wet, loose snow or ice, but most boots aren't. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a great replacement for 30 year old Sorels! When my husband resorted to using duct tape on his ancient Sorels my children and I decided he needed a new pair. We were thrilled to find almost the same model. And with this snowy winter, they are doing the trick, keeping his feet warm and dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing After trying out several different styles of boots, I was told to try these out and they are amazing. Keeps your feet and toes warm even when out in the sub zero temps for extended periods of time. They did seem to run a bit big on the size, but with a pair of thick socks they are perfect!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good boot well made & constructed. Though it has insulation you will need to wear socks that contain a high % of Wool. Toes were slightly cooled. Good boot well made & constructed. Though it has insulation you will need to wear the proper socks that contain a high % of Wool. Toes were slightly cooled after one hour in temperatures of 32-34 degrees in CT. 100% cotton socks are not recommended to the get the full affect of these boots. Overall a solid boot by Sorel…but didn't give it a 5 star due to the cold penetrating my toe area brrrrrrrr. I will continue to search for the right pair of socks to compliment the insulation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too narrow for my husband's wide foot ... Great boots but did not fit. I bought them for my husband and they were too narrow. This is the second pair we tried and both were too narrow. His foot may just be too wide for these boots, which makes us both very sad. He needs some durable boots like this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too tight but still like them The first boot I bought was a size 9 and it was way too tight. I had to go up to a size 10 and it was still a little tight but a lot better than the 9.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A few things to keep in mind I have read all the reviews on these boots and the negative ones make me chuckle. First these boots fit true to size...if you wear a 9 order a 9 if you wear a 10 1/2 order and 11 etc etc. These are not made to wear multiple pairs of socks with. They are PAC boots and with PAC boots you should wear a pair of wicking socks under a pair of thin wool or synthitic (dress)fabric sock...NEVER wear a cotton sock...you feet will sweat and then freeze and you will blame the boot. The boot does run a little wide but consider that a little wiggle room for circulation...if the circulation is cut off then your feet will freeze. I wear a 10E but in this style the 10D fits perfect. This boot is not an everyday walking boot...its a PAC boot made for extreme temps and also sitting for long periods. The boot is water proof (to a point) any untreated leather will absorb water eventully...I put a good coating of mink oil on the uppers and water will not absorb at all. It is up to the consumer themselves to learn what boot does what and how to use them. I hope this review has helped you make a good decision on whatever type boot you buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed feelings 1. This is a gigantic boot, it is not a casual fashion boot. Walking to get mail, shoveling the driveway, and skiing, are the functions it serves. Driving a car or walking around a mall becomes noticeably more difficult compared to average sized boots. 2. The toe box is narrow. There is little arch support. 3. The boot is warm. 4. The heel of the right boot was glued off center. On close inspection, my wife's caribou boot was of a better tolerances. For example the seams of the boot were off in several places. They were all minor imperfections but still for the brand I expected a little better. 5. Customer service is excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is very functional and fashion savvy. I am very pleased with these boots. The men's 1964 PAC T boot. I purchased these boots for my son. We had a snow blast and he received them just in time to wear them. They are comfortable and exactly what he was looking for, for the winter time. I would purchase these boots again in the future for my other boys as they grow enough to wear men's sizes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good! I bought these boots because I ski a lot and I was tired of getting my feet went before I put my ski boots on. These did the trick and they seem to get good traction in the snow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OUSTANDING As a type II diabetic with poor circulation to me feet and toes I purchased these boots for deer hunting here in Alabama. I bought them since they were rated -40 degrees. We went camping over the Thanksgiving holiday. Wed the high was 34 low 18, Thursday high 42 low 24. With two pairs of socks, my feet and toes stay comfortably warm. I wear a 10-1/2 and ordered a size 11, for 2 pairs of socks, great fit....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 64 PAC T Boot This boot is good looking and reminds me of my 30 plus yr old Sorel Scout Boots (which I still have) and also bought new liners for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot. Great boot. Tried this on in a store first and I am glad I did. The 'lower' used for the PAC boot is different than the Caribou. It accommodated my flat foot. The Caribou has an arch. I wear a size 10 shoe. This boot is tight with my heaviest wool sock. Because the boot is so warm, I can use a med weight sock. I always wanted a pair of Sorel’s. Too bad they are not made in Canada any longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from never too ate I purchased these boots not really expecting to use them anymore this year. hah! Within a week they were on as winter refuses to leave. My first pair of genuine Sorels; I will wear no other.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Felt Thickness I compared the new Sorels to my 30+ year old tan premium Sorels and was surprised at how much thinner the felt liner is on the new sorrels. Do the new ones have the same ability to keep feet warm as the old ones, given this much thinner felt???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted These boots were exactly what I wanted. I'd done my homework on pac boots and these were THE ones. Love the liners, fit the way they should, and the construction is top notch. I'd buy them again without hesitation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cold weather boot I sent these boots to my son in Penn State main campus. He walks a lot to classes in the cold and snow/slush. He said they keep him warm and dry. He likes that they are not too heavy for his long walks and, They are very comfortable. We have used Sorels for years ( we are from Aspen) The classic styles like this one run 1 size large. I have tried some of the new styles and they are all different.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Small These boots are cut way to small. I would have thought in a winter boot the cut would be a little larger to compensate for a thick sock. These boots are small and very narrow. They're snug and tight without a sock. I ordered my size the first time and a size larger the second time. Both have to be returned at a shipping cost total of 36.00. So after a 36.00 investment I still need boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I needed! Purchased these mainly for snowmobiling and occasional ice fishing at the cabin "up north" in Minnesota. I've used them on the sled over two weekends with temps near zero and also in the mid-twenties. They have been warm and comfortable and I am confident that if temps were subzero, they would still be warm enough. Great product! But I knew they would be. Sorels have always been the standard in the "Great White North"!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Slightly Snug Fit.. I normally use a size 12 so I ordered these boots in that size. When I tried them on, they were a little snug. Unfortunately, the next size up is a 13. I'm used to having a little space when I buy my shoes, but I'm still feeling ok with these in size 12, since they aren't made in 12.5 It's a gamble when you don't have the physical shoes to try on before deciding to buy them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great winter boots! Bought these for my husband and he loves them. He is a 7.5 and they fit VERY true to size! Size 7 was way to small and 8 was way too big, 7.5 was PERFECT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A classic If you live at altitude, a pair of these boots must be in your closet. There is no second place, these are the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Girl in "boy" boots When ordering my first pair of Sorels I decided to opt for practical instead of fashionable- so I went with the Pac T. I ordered the smallest size (7s) because I wear a woman's 8.5- it fits well width wise and my toes are perfectly close to the front of the boot- however my heel does slip a bit when I am walking. I just got them yesterday and I love them! My feet are very warm!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from oldie but goodie This was the first type of Sorel I bought in the early 70's. Still my favorite bum around boot. Glad to finally buy a new pair after 20+ years into my old pair

Rated 5 out of 5 by from never found one better I have owned these boots for a little over 9 years and they have been exposed to highly severe conditions during hunting but my feet never knew it. I only wish the liners could be more accesible (hard to find a store that carries them) I figure I have at least another two years on them and will replace them with the same Sorel Pac "T". Highly recomended
