Perfect Pair
I purchased these for my husband for a trip to NYC. Lots of walking, changeable weather… and these are perfect for both! Comfortable for all day, stylish for a night out!

Perfect for the Midwest
I finally convinced my husband to wear something other than Nikes and he’s officially impressed. His feet stay warm and dry, and the boots easily wipe clean. Perfect for spending time outdoors in Iowa.

Soles Fall off
After two days the sole separated from the bottom of the boot while walking. I can't believe that what you pay for them and the well known name has a poor quality boot. Maybe the quality has gone down with this brand. I would not recommend the purchase of this boot. Shame that I reached out to the main office and was told to take them to the store purchased and see what they say about taking them back, then if there is any issues to contact them after.

Lightweight Shoes
I purchased these shoes with the impression that they would be fully waterproof, I have yet to test them but they do not seem like the type of shoe to measure up to the rain. They have a suede on the outside and a mesh on the toe which make the shoe very stylish and on top of that they are extremely light weight which is a plus. I would recommend this precut to anyone who wants a stylish boot that can resist a light rain.

True to style, True to size!
I've had these boots a few weeks now, and they are exactly what I was hoping they would be. They are stylish and comfortable, and the size fits perfectly. I walk a half-mile to work through downtown Portland every day, and these boots keep my feet protected and stable. They are surprisingly lighter weight than they look, yet well-built and comfy. A "Goldilocks" boot for me - they're just right. The lacing system makes it easy to take off and on or adjust. And I love the green color. A perfect boot for me! Great job Sorel!

Very comfortable boot
I normally wear a size 12. I wear a size 11.5 in Sorel, the fit is perfect. I did have water seep through the textile portion of boot over toe area. That's the only reason for 4 star rating.

Good fall/spring boot
So I normally where a 14 in say Adidas GTX, but these were a little too big so I had to return them and get a size 13.
They fit great and waterproof. I was a little nervous, some other reviews mentioned they were not waterproof and also the toe glue gave way.
I haven't worn them enough to see, but so far so good.

Awesome shoes
Took a gamble on these after reading some not so pleasant reviews. Surprised; these looked great out of the box. Fit like a glove. Waterproof! Wear these with anything and they look stylish. Will not be disappointed.

Not Waterproof - Can't Return
I purchased this boot in November. Wore it once with my rain pants. The tops of both feet across the instep were wet shortly into the walk. I contacted Sorel and was told to take them back to the Employee store where they purchased. I was told at the Employee store that they could not be returned since they had been worn. Not sure how you find out if they leak if you don't wear them? Warranty told me that I could only be issued store credit. This was my first and last experience with Sorel and Columbia Sportswear. I don't recommend the boot or the "customer care" that was provided.

The only this "Sore-l" will be your friends
The good - The boots were true to size and required no breaking in. They are comfortable wearing them all day out an about in a Chicago winter. These are stylish enough to be passable as weekend/post work footwear and they go well with jeans, provide excellent ankle support and are very light compared to my previous Merrill's. They did very well on puddles and keeping my feet warm. I'll probably get some protectant spray to make them more tolerant.
The bad - They are a bit pricey, I took advantage of REI's member discount to put them more in reach and less taxing on my wallet. Remember, these are going to last you awhile. The upfront expense is worth the long term ownership for a good pair of boots.
The ugly - The SOREL branding is really an eyesore on the rear of the shoes. These peal right off though so you can remove them like I accidentally found out (refer to picture attachment)
Overall - I'd buy these again, I'm tempted to get the leather ones too for motorcycle riding.

Poor Quality
I had read a number of reviews mentioning that Sorel's quality was poor these days, but I really liked the way these looked and thought "it can't be THAT bad....."
It is THAT bad. I have had these for a month, worn them ~8 times around town (no hiking or anything) and the adhesive is failing and the sole is peeling back at the toe. I've seen gas station flip-flops with better construction. I know the price point is attractive, but don't waste your money.
