This product has great features Nice colorsCan wear warm socks inside November 24, 2013
Very nice boots The boots are very comfortable, no breaking in needed. My shoe size is normally 7.5, so I tend to wear an 8 boot to get warm socks in etc.Reading other reviews I ordered a 7.5, and with my arch support inserts they fit perfectly. If I did not put the supports in, they would be way to big, but when the winter comes and I need heavier socks, I will take supports out and they will fit perfectly. The leg of the boot is only the suede, there is no lining and I wish it would have been. The sole is very nice, and just recovering from hip replacement surgery, they are very sturdy to walk in. Good product. Very well-made boots. Unfortunately too large. October 13, 2013
This is THE ONE boot. Great for wide feet and bigger calves. I wanted a stylish boot that was comfortable, water proof and not too hot to wear inside with thinner socks, but warm enough to walk for 10-15 minutes through 3+ feet of snow and temperatures down to -30F with thicker socks.I have fairly wide feet that don't taper much at the toes (think duck). I also have the beginnings of a bunion on my right foot. I also have a fairly wide calf (muscular), but a relatively narrow ankle. (This description makes me sound like a troll...)I usually wear Ke.EN shoes size 9.5 for my hiking boots, casual shoes and sandals. I've tried every single dressy boot K.EE.N makes (all too narrow) and many styles from B*or.n (all too narrow, even the wide widths)I've tried these Sorels, even though they're not very dressy, but I'll mention them so people can gauge the fit.Cate the Great (fit fine, too bulky, way too hot inside, stiff fit)'88 (too narrow at the base of the big toe)'Joan of Arctic' Boot (fit fine, too bulky, way too hot, very stiff fit)Then I tried the Wicked Workboot and my feet feel like they've come home. They're wide enough, even at the base of my big toe. They are roomy enough for thick socks. They are wide enough for my calves. AND (as if all that weren't enough to almost make me cry) they look good and can be dressed up or down. I was even able to put my Supe.r.Fee.t inserts in.As for their performance in cold snowy weather, that evaluation will have to wait a couple of months. The fit is so incredibly awesome though that they would have to preform horrifically awfully (leak like crazy and be super cold) for me to return them. The tread/sole looks like it could stand up to sleet, snow, rain, ice and hail all at once, but somehow, almost magically, the boots don't look or feel clunky or like I'm about to mount a motorcycle and ride off into the sunset. All in all, I'm so happy I finally found dressy boots. The two different kinds of leather look awesome, and the pull rings at the top are handy and very sturdy so I'm not worried the leather will rip if I actually use them to pull the boot on. Great boot I loved these boots but had to return them because they ran a little large. I think they would have been great had they fit better. July 6, 2013
