How to Measure Your Foot

  • Place your feet flat on a piece of paper and mark your longest toe and the back of your foot. It's best to do this standing and wearing socks
  • Measure the length (cm) straight from your longest toe to the back of your foot using a ruler or measuring tape.
  • Use the chart to find your size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Warm and Cozy! These boots keep my feet very warm and not to mention they're super cute! One downfall, the right boot rubs the back of the ankle and can be painful. I'm hoping I just need to break them in. Other than that, these are great boots for the cold and snow! November 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome boots This is my second pair of sorel boots and they are the only boots that I ever buy! The meaning you get what you pay for is so true! very affordable and last for a long time! November 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I Beg to Differ After reading many reviews of this and other Sorel boots I ordered a half size up, which, as it turned out, was a mistake and I had to return them for my usual size 9. The 9's fit like a glove with enough room for a thicker sock. I don't understand why other customers insist they run so small. My foot is wide and runs a hair shorter than a true size 9. Rated 1 out of 5 by My feet hurt I like to spend between $100-$200 on a good pair of winter boots every year. I thought that they would be decent since they are $150.00. which they are decent. they look nice, and are waterproof. but I have high heels that are more comfortable. when breaking boots in the beginning of fall I'm used to getting a blister or two, or having my feet squeezed too tightly until the leather and stitching stretch to conform to my feet. but its been a month of agony trying to break these boots in, the white accent around the boot is already peeling off and the furry part is rough and worn out, they don't look very cute anymore and they still aren't broken in. Its too bad I cant return them because ive been wearing them every day for a month trying to get them to be comfortable. Comfort is my #1. I thought they fit a little tight when I got them, but most boots do, after wearing them 5-6 times they usually stretch out. But I guess these boots are made just too good. Im not very happy. and neither are my feet. I wear a size 8.5 in shoes, and size 9 in boots. I bought size 10 in these. October 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mz Peaches I absolutely love these boots. The fit is comfortable and feels like I am walking on clouds. I highly recommend these to everyone!! I am going to purchase another pair, I am happy I finally made this purchase. September 2, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Comfy, warm & stylish but the liner ripped out of them At first I loved these boots- they were warm and a perfect fit in the foot bed and they didn't rub anywhere. I could walk for hours and my toes did not get cold in the middle of the NYC winter. I got the black which looked very stylish and went will all my outfits. My 3 star review reflects this, however, the ankle area is way too small which ultimately lead the liner to rip leaving a gaping hole, and I had to return them to my retailer after aprroximately 6 weeks of wear. I was aware of this tight ankle issue after reading other reviews, but I have small ankles so I figured those reviewers just had big ankles (Sorry reviewers!) but I was wrong. Even if I undid the laces completely my heel would stick half way down and I would have to push/pull hard to get them on. I could not have gone up a size as then they would have been too big in the foot bed. As they were super warm I only wore a standard sports sock so I know it was the design that was the issue. I was so disappointed to return them as they looked great and functioned well otherwise. I ended up swapping them for the Tofino Cate which was a big mistake (see my review) as that boot is not as warm and the leak. You might be able to get away with this boot if you aren't taking them on and off frequently or only wear them on the odd occasion, or can find a super long shoehorn to assist getting them on, but even then I don't know if you would fit a shoehorn in there it was so tight. Shame. March 4, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by NOT WATERPROOF AT ALL I bought these boots for $170 Canadian dollars - and what a disappointment they have been. I specifically bought Sorel's due to their reputation of constructing quality winter boots, and considered the cost an investment. I walk outside to work about 15 minutes in total a day - imagine my surprise when my overpriced "waterproof" boots left my feet soaking wet and freezing cold. I thought mine must be defective, so I returned them for a new pair of the same boots... and had the exact same issue. Why advertise something as waterproof that so very clearly isn't? I live in Toronto, there is hardly any snow at all and yet my feet are still cold and soaking wet any time there's a tiny bit of snow. I wanted Sorel's because they had a good reputation, this has been sadly been destroyed in my mind. March 3, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Looking; Not as Warm as Expected These boots are very good looking and comfortable. The profile is slim and provides that classic Mainer boot look without the bulk. I took everyone's advice and ordered half a size up, which was the right call. I think it's an excellent commuter boot or for doing errands when you'll encounter a mix of walking outside but also be inside a fair amount and not want your feet to overheat either. I was disappointed with how easily the cold seep up through the soles however. I primarily got these to wear at hockey games. With the thick soles I thought I'd be well protected from the cold floors and stands but even with disposable heaters the cold wins. While the foot area isn't super insulated, I did expect them to be better than the average shoe but I don't find them to be. February 23, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Leaked These boots only made it through one and a half New England winters before they started leaking. Sorel only has a one year warranty on boots. For the price of them I expected much more. February 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome!! I come from a tropical country and was not aware about Sorel brand. I did my first snow trip and when searching for winter boots I felt in love with all Sorel collection! I bought this a black Tivoli High II and it is perfect! Basic, but has a style... It is comfortable and warm. I definetly recommend this product! And if I lived in a cold Country, I would have bought other Sorel's for me, for sure... February 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Survived the Chicago/Superbowl Blizzard I bought these boots in November of 2014. I wanted to wear test them out before writing my review. I researched non-stop and these boots came in at #2 after the Joan of Artic (great boot but too heavy for me) I bought the Tivoli boot in black, size 7.5. The fit is great, I still have a little room to wear a thick sock (which you really don't need with this boot) They are super warm and comfortable to walk in. Driving with them on can be a bit annoying due the stiffness of the material around the ankle. So the final test was to wear them in a real snow blizzard. Which happened this past Sunday in Chicago! My boots were awesome! My feet were warm and dry during my walk on Sunday and Monday. I know these boot is a bit pricey for some..but if you live in the Midwest. Consider them a great investment! Rated 2 out of 5 by Lining ripped out after wearing twice I've heard so much about the quality of Sorel, I thought these would be a slam dunk purchase. Sadly, not so much for me. My pair was defective; the lining totally ripped out of one boot after wearing the pair twice. So sad to send them back, especially with snowy weather just starting in NYC. I know these things can happen and my situation could be a fluke. The most disappointing part of the entire circumstance was the Sorel store in NYC not taking the boots back because they were ordered online. It makes no sense why a damaged boot cannot be returned in store vs. sending back to the online distributor (especially for an exchange). Big miss on customer service. January 28, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by I wish I got a different pair I got these sorels early in the year knowing they sell out fast. I didnt even end up wearing them until the return policy was up. I tried them on and they cut into my heels after wearing them for 10 min. I got a size up and thought that would solve the issue and they continue to dig into my heels. I can not return them and the size is not the issue so I am constantly trying to find socks thick enough to wear with them so they will not cut into my heels. I love sorels, they are super cute and I plan to buy a pair in the future, but maybe not the tall pair so I do not have to suffer with the cold and cuts in my boots. Such a waste :/ January 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Pair of Boots Ever Owned Super skeptical at first.. I never really heard of the brand before until last month. Living in the Chicagoland area and working downtown Chicago I was looking for a pair of boots that had style, comfort, warmth and function. Chicago has some really brutal winter although this year has been mild the cold never seized to amaze me. The beginning of winter I thought of getting a pair of Uggs but I ended up buy a pair of cheap boost from Target thinking eh they're just going to get dirty from the gruesome salt and maybe this winter wouldn't be so bad until we hit the -20s... my cheap Target boots didn't cut it frozen toes on the verge of giving up. So I decided to just take a stab at trying on a pair of Sorel Tivoli at a local Dick's; I'm usually a size 6 and when I went to try them on they were way too tight and small so I ordreed a pair of 6.5 from the website and I just got them today and instantly when I put them on and laced them up I fell in love. They were warm and not too snug. I believe I won't even have to wear thick wool socks or double up because I know they would be too thick for the boots.. maybe go up to a 7 for the future. The one down fall is driving in them it's a bit difficult to drive a manual with such thick boots but eventually I will get used to them. I am extremely glad I didn't jump the gun on a pair of Uggs that were twice as much as these. Overall the best purchase I've made for boots ever and I'm already looking forward to a different pair. Rated 5 out of 5 by Replenish Sizes! Absolutely love the sorrel Tivoli boots! Please replenish the larger sizes soon! January 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Looks good; Feels good! I have been looking for a new winter boot for a long time. My challenge is that I must have the "Wide Calf" option when I buy tall boots and that can be a challenge as it is not available on all boots. Luckily this boot has laces and I can adjust the calf to fit better especially with jeans tucked in. I usually take a solid US 6 1/2 in a boot. Based on my experience with other Sorel boots, I ordered a 6 and it fit perfectly. Can't wait to really put these to the test! December 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful! Normally take a 6 61/2 was perfect especially with thick fuzzy socksLove the color, very warm and every one compliments me! Nice and waterproof. Wearing them right now while I work and I work on my feet, the support is amazing, my back doesn't hurt and neither do my feet! Love them December 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love 'em Glad I ordered a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear, because these Sorels run small. Definitely spray with protectant, as these light-colored boots show dirt after only a few outings. Basically love them, they keep my toes warm. December 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by For My College Freshman She says that she absolutely loves these boots and recommends them to others. December 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Women's Tivolli Boot I was personally on a search for the perfect boot, and Sorel was "perfect". I was traveling and needed something to keep me dry and warm. I did buy a "rubber" boot with the "sock" insert thinking I was just not going to find anything else. However, Sorel fit the criteria ---- cute, comfortable, warm, and TOTALLY WATERPROOF!!! Fantastic!! I purchased these in Vancouver, B.C. and have not taken them off since. I bought pair of these boots as a gift for two of my girlfriends, and one of my cousins. I would recommend these to anyone who would listen. and have literally done so, including a "valet" at a mall. I would be a great person for promoting this product!! December 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just as advertised I got these for my college age daughter after they had 36 inches of snow in less than a week. They shipped quickly and kept her warm and safe in the ice and snow. She has athletic calves and these fit her very nicely. The heel was a little stiff initially but she was able to work that out by bending the backs for a bit before she wore them a second time. I would highly recommend. December 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Favorite boot ever!!! This boot is so absolutely stylish, comfortable and well constructed. I have heel spurs and plantar fasciitis which are very painful a lot of the time, and once I put these boots on I didn't want to take them off. I contemplated making them my new running shoes :) I usually wear a 9-9.5 and ordered a 9.5 based on other reviews. The fit is actually perfect for me, but I have a somewhat narrow foot. I have plenty of room for regular or heavy weight socks. I haven't had to wear them in snow yet, but they were perfect in 18 degrees. I am in love. Definitely in my top 5 purchases! December 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great boot, comfortable and warm! I am normally size 9 in most shoes but tried those on and my toes were smashed against the front so I went up a whole size and ordered a size 10 and they are perfect! Just enough room for thick socks. Strongly recommend sizing up at least a half size. I got these boots in black and they are so cute! They are very warm and not too clunky for a winter boot. Best purchase of the winter. November 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by lov this boot! i really love the look of this boot..its so cute..and very warm. this boot is perfect for running around town in messy weather, football games and any cold weather activity! it looks so sweet with leggings! only thing...order half size up..otherwise get these! November 24, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hard to get into with my high arch I really like the boots, I'm trying to decide if it's worth it as it's hard to get my foot into it even when I loosen all the laces. I have high arches, and this is a struggle with some boots. I ordered a half size up, and I could have ordered an additional size up probably. I wonder if a bigger size would be easier to get my foot into. Overall, very pretty boot. November 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the look I love the look of this boot, but it does run slightly small. I am a size 7.5 but have found in Sorel that an 8 has always been perfect. This particular style does run a tad small (so I just wear a thinner pair of socks). November 21, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Love it, but it's small! My friend bought a pair and I loved the look so I bought myself one. I measured my foot and it said I was a size 6.5 so I went with a 7. I should've gotten a larger size, but since it said it fit large I thought I'd be fine. I was wrong! My foot had a tough time slipping in and my foot was cramped. It got better within a few hours, but it was still very tight. I loved that it was light and easy to walk in though! November 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the look of these boots Very comfortable after returning for a 1/2 size larger. November 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Narrow at ankles I had a hard time getting these on maybe because I have high arches. They were really narrow through the ankle but normal in the foot bed. You do have to unlace them to get on. Super cute and very soft liner. They sort of match my husbands but a more girly version than the caribou. I hope after wearing a few times they will stretch out in the ankle a bit because I had an even harder time getting them past the ankle with my thin socks on. I couldn't go larger because I usually wear a 6. November 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Size The boots is very light weight and feel like wear sneakers. It's good for city use. If you wear regular socks, it would be fine but I like to more room in toe area and possibll to wear ticker socks in snow day. I usually wear size 7 but will recommend to order half size up. I exchanged the size. There weren't pre-paid return label. You have to make payment shipping fee. If you re-order another size, they will give you free shipping. November 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Boots!!! These boots arrived to my dorm in three days and are very comfortable. They do run small, I normally wear a 9 but ordered a 9 1/2 and they fit perfectly. I ordered the black pair and I love how they look. They keep my feet warm all day and I go to school in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I would definitely recommend these boots! November 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by runs small Love the style of boot but runs small. Extremely warm, my feet were sweating while I was wearing them around the house! Returning the pair I bought and going up a size. November 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by JusT Thrilled I ordered these in from dicks after going and trying on a few different boots. I tried TheNorthFace Boots but they didn't seem durable enough, lacking in quality and weather functionality.. I ended up choosing these Sorels and I'm extremely happy with the size and fit :) I usually wear a 7 & 1/2 or 8 depending on the make of the shoe. These I got in a black 8 and they fit like a custom foot glove! They're perfect for working out in the elements for 12-14 hours at a time during fall or winter. SO HAPPY - MY FEET ARE ALWAYS WARM AND COZY - LOVE! :D October 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bigger than slightly large I normally wear a 7 1/2 - 8 but ordered an 8 because these are winter boots and I wanted to accomodate for bigger socks. I should have ordered 7 1/2. Even with bigger socks, these were still too big with a very roomy toe box. I ended up with a blister on the back of of my leg where the form of the boot rubbed the back of my leg. Very warm but definitely big. October 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable and Cute! After trying 4 different pairs of boots, I finally found a pair that is not too bulky, not too narrow, comfortable, waterproof, and warm. I usually wear a perfect size 8.5, however, I ordered a 9 and it fits perfectly, even with thicker socks. I'm glad I went up a .5 size in these. They are easy to walk in and I would recommend them. September 24, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Awful design, poor construction Bought these boots as an investment. The right boot digs into my ankle and the logo on the back of the ankle is a little bit off-set from the base, it is not symmetrical to the left side. I walked around for about twenty minutes in them and felt great pain in my ankle. I currently am wearing a size 5.5 and I tried the size 6 in the store but they felt awkward and clunky to walk in, so I went with the 5.5. I have now decided to return the boots as they have not lived up to the legacy of quality I was expecting from Sorel. I am upset and am going to be purchasing a different brand of boot. October 18, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great boot but poorly constructed I received these boots as a birthday gift from my boyfriend last year (December 2014), I loved them, I've been wanting sorel's for a very long time and was very excited when I got them. However, after only a month of having the boots and only wearing them back and forth to school, the inner lining on both boots ripped and was bunching up when I put my foot in the boot which was just uncomfortable. I returned them to the store where they were bought and was given a new pair and these boots have also started to do the same thing. I am very disappointed because other than that they have been a great boot, I wore them snowshoeing and sliding a few times and never had a problem with me feet being cold, although I did find that if you aren't actively moving and are just sitting outside (for example, on the back of a snowmobile) your feet do get quite cold. Anyway, I guess my next option is to get a hold of the company itself and see if there is anything they can do for me as I'm not too keen on wearing a boot with the liner ripped out of it all winter August 20, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by How can you sell these as winter boots? They're horrible. I invested in these boots thinking I would be set for years to come. These boots are a sad excuse for a winter boot. Within minutes my toes are numb, even when the temperature isn't very low. The traction is inexcusably bad. I have take multiple falls in these boots.. not just on ice.. on snow and even a wet sidewalk. I will NEVER buy sorel boots again. It's shocking that they have been able to create such a great reputation for being "the brand" to wear in winter when clearly their boots don't function. $200 down the drain. July 8, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Très chaud et confortable Pour un achat par internet, je fut contente lors de la première essaie. Les grandeurs sont presque parfaite. La botte était un trop petite, mais avec le temps elle s'est fait à mon pied. April 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love them I received as a birthday gift in Nov 2014 I love these boots, they have kept my feet warm all winter:) I read other reviews about ripped lining, I have normal width feet normally an 8.5 The boots I have are a size 9 and I have had no problems with getting them on or lining ripping April 5, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Ripped Liner with 1 month! Hi There, I have head such great things about Sorel- it's a Canadian company, stands behind its product, makes a great quality boot that will last for years and is hence worth the more expensive price when compared to similar boots of other brands. So, as a very expensive birthday gift, my boyfriend bought me these Sorel boots. I was thrilled when I received them; they were exactly what I wanted and were very comfortable and warm. Unfortunately, within 1 month of using these boots twice a week, the back outside liner has ripped entirely which is strange because it's made of a canvas-type material. It seems that the design is a bit defective: the hard-black heal covering almost juts into the beige canvas and creates expedited wear-and tear; I can already see where this is wearing in my second boot and will rip very soon. This shouldn't be happening in $200 boots within one month of occasional usage! A similar occurrence happened with my Father's Sorel boots and he contacted the company and was extremely pleased with their Customer Service, Warranty, and how they stood behind their product. Since these boots were given to me a gift, I do not have the receipt so I am hoping that Sorel stands behind their product as much with me as they had with my Father. I'm sad that my first Sorel experience isn't so great, but I'm hoping their customer service can turn this around and that I can get an alterative design of boot which will not wear and tear (literally# for at least a couple years #one month is simple unacceptable!). Wouldn't recommend these boots for durability, in my case, but maybe I got a dud. I'm not ready to give up on Sorel just yet, though, as I am proud that they're a Canadian company and do want to believe that they stand behind their product as much as the public endorses. We will see! February 2, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Soo Sad I have owned Sorels all my life, I broke down and spent the money on a new pair as the last pair lasted me 7 years.. i was so happy with this style as they were fashionable as well as warm and comfortable. I have narrow feet and was pleased with the fact that the were not wide I wore them for about 2 weeks and the liner ripped. January 25, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible Inner Construction I CANNOT tell you how disappointed I am! I bought these at a little shop in Aylmer, On. I was told "Sorel is AWESOME... they stand behind their product... Sorels will last you 10-15 years!" etc...etc... So I took the plunge and spent the money. They have no zipper so you have to push your feet in, problem is...the opening is very narrow...And I mean WAY too narrow (even for my narrow size 6.5 feet) Oh! and I went up to a size 8 cause I couldn't get my feet in anything smaller. So I wore them maybe 5 times and felt the lining loosening as I would pull my feet in and out. Then the next time I put them on...They completely ripped!!! It was horrible :( I wanted to cry. January 14, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Wore five times and the liner inside ripped I purchased this boot and was so excited to finally own a pair of tall Sorel boots. I was under the impression that Sorel was a quality brand and so did not mind that the price of the boot is high compared to some other brands. I expected a pair of boots that would last me years. I wore the boots maybe five times and this morning when I put them on the inside liner completely shredded a huge hole at the back of the boot. It is not a size issue as the boots fit my foot perfectly. Now it is very difficult to get the boot on without the liner bunching up under my heel. I am so disappointed and am wondering if I just got a bad pair or if others have also had this issue? December 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Petite size boot I wear a size 4 in women's shoes. I bought the Tivoli High in size 5 and absolutely love them. I think they must run small if the length fits my feet. I put a thin insole in the bottom of the boot to take up a little room in the bottom of the. I like that they are narrow for my petite feet. It is very hard to find warm winter boots for my small feet. Usually, I have to visit the children's department to buy warm boots but they are either not high enough or not made as well as adult size footwear. I tried the Youth size 2 in the Tofino and Joan of Arctic but they did not feel or fit as well as the size 5 Tivoli. November 11, 2014
