How to Measure Your Foot

  • Place your feet flat on a piece of paper and mark your longest toe and the back of your foot. It's best to do this standing and wearing socks
  • Measure the length (cm) straight from your longest toe to the back of your foot using a ruler or measuring tape.
  • Use the chart to find your size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cute, but they're already ruined after an hour of wear. I want to love these boots, I really do. The style is great, they fit my wide calves. The color is very pretty, the fur is nice and they look great on. Not too chunky, but quite warm. And I found them to be true to size. I ordered my regular size and can wear heavier socks in them with no problem. But after wearing them for less than a day I am very disappointed in the quality. I wore them today to my niece and nephew's football game. Without thinking, I knelt down to take a team photo for my niece on the track. As I was down, I was worried I'd scuff the ends of the toes (the rubber). I expected a mark on the ends. I didn't expect the outer material of the lighter colored band to be coming completely off! Both boots. And now that it's tearing off, it's only going to get worse. Within a half hour of putting them on, they were already ruined. My bad for thinking they'd hold up to a little bit of wear, but they didn't. A bit of a high price to pay for fashion vs. function. The backs are also a bit uncomfortable. The stiffener in the back is quite high and digs into the back of the ankle. I can slide my foot forward a bit in them and found myself doing that most of the day. I am hoping they'll break in soon. I want to love these boots. I want to give the backs a chance to break in, but the tearing of the accent band is very disappointing. October 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfy and True to Size These boots are awesome! They lining is so comfortable and they are even cuter than they look in the pictures. I have large calfs to I was worried about fit. I normally wear a 8.5 or 9, so I took several reviewers advice and ordered a half size up (9.5). The 9.5 actually fit a little big. I will have to wear my thick wool socks with them. So, I would suggest just purchasing your regular size. September 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by tivoli high ll boots my husband got these for my birthday present. I wanted the tobacco color. but figured they were all nice. we read the reviews and ordered them a size bigger. when I opened them I was shocked to see these were the ones I liked the most. they are a great looking brown. I had to put them on right away and they slipped right on with little trouble. they are extremely warm. cant wait for winter. these boots are everything I hoped they would be and am very satisfied. thank you Sorel and thank you to my husband. make sure to get them a size bigger then what you normally are..... Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice boot Loved the boot but runs small and narrow. September 11, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by 1 size up can't get foot in. Boot needs zipper Unfortunately bought online sale with a company that has no exchanges on sale. Looks like I needed two sizes up not just 1. Even with laces wide open can't get past front of foot to get in. Will have to try to stretch them out in order to use for winter. What a waste of money. Why they don't have a zipper and proper size is beyond me. August 7, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Too small Beautiful boot, but a whole size too small compared to my other Sorel boots I wear. August 2, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by The product is beautiful and functional. The boot is awesome except for the fit. They run about 1/2 size small which should be noted when you order. June 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Boots! I bought this pair of sorel boots about 9months ago and I still love them. I'm originally an 8 but because they fit true to size I got a 8.5, and it was perfect! Especially if you plan on wearing big thick socks with them! I continue to wear sorel boots and recommend this style and many others! March 13, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Order WAY big! Having read the reviews that these run small, I ordered a size 9 when I'm usually an 8. They were still too small! 9.5 worked. I LOVE these boots. I did resent having to pay shipping to return and re-order- you'd think that since their sizing is all over the map that exchanges would be free?!! Anyway, buy these boots but try to do it in a store. February 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fits snuggly but are cozy warm I tried on five boots while at Gander Mountain; one Kamic, two North Face, and two Sorel. I noticed that the Sorels fit rather small all over compared to North Face (they have a huge toe box) and Kamics (they tend to fit well except in the ankles). I went up a full size and they fit like they were made to order. February 14, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Waterproof I found that the shoe is very fashionable but not waterproof and the back heel of the shoe is tilted in which cause me to have cuts on the back and side of my heel. February 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by It's Love! Warm, lightweight, cozy AND cute. A wee bit baggie around the ankles but not bad if laced well. So far waterproof and warm. I am a teacher and stood in a snow bank for thirty minutes during recess yesterday. Boots kept me warm and cozy. Too warm to wear inside for long. February 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great looking and fitting boot I was a little nervous purchasing this boot online because many of the reviews said that it was narrow or just not true to size, but I went for it anyway because I really need a warm, weatherproof, good-looking boot for the winter. I ordered a size 9. I'm usually an 8 or 8.5. The fit is perfect. I have worn them with and without socks. They are very comfy and I'm already getting compliments on how they look. February 11, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Boots! Bought half size bigger an my boots fit and feel great! I think the inside is a little cheap for the price... A wool lining would have been perfect! I have used them for over 2 months in snow and rain and my feet are always dry, comfortable and warm. No problem in ankle or calf for me!!! February 11, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by womens boot sizes Sadly I was disappointed that this size 12 boot did not fit my daughter's size 12 feet. And why aren't there sizes larger so I could exchange? She loved the boot!! Its 2016 -womens' feet are larger than the past few decades. Sorel needs to know this and get with the times. January 31, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Too small/order 1 size larger My mother received a pair of Sorel winter boots over 2 years ago and she is very pleased with them and their ability to keep her feet warm. I ordered a pair comparable to hers and based on the reviews of this style and after trying on her boots I ordered a 1/2 size larger. I just received them in the mail (very quick shipping) and found them to still be too small. I normally wear a 9 1/2 or 10 and ordered a 10 1/2 but still I need to return them for a whole size up. Somewhat disappointed but excited to receive the correct size!!! January 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by BEST INVESTMENT EVER! This is the best pair of boots for the snowy and rainy kind of day! My feet stay warm and dry!! Can't wear my UUGS during this time! Tall enough where they meet the end of my down coat. GREAT pair of boots is all I can say!! Spend the extra money cause they are well worth it. January 20, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Is not true to the size When I bought this boots I was looking for style and function. So I immediately fell in love with them when I saw them and read the information. I normally wear 7.5. When I first tried it, I notice that they were narrow. Since I a narrow feet that didn't bother me. The problem was that I didn't had enough space for my toes. I still really like the boots, so I'm thinking to buy a size 8 for the extra room I need. January 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great boots. Purchased for my daughter. She said get 11s mom and yes they were too small. Called customer service, ordered a new pair returned the first pair the next day got my new ones 3 days later. 5 days after I sent first pair back got my refund. Daughter loves her boots... Thanks Sorel it was a great experience... January 1, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very narrow but functional & fashionable winter boot I've had a pair of Sorels for 16 years & finally wore a hole through the heal. Bought these as replacement. ...This is a great pair of winter boots - high enough to keep snow out, awesome traction, warm, and stylish. But they run VERY narrow around foot & tight on top of the arch. I couldn't get on the boot with socks, and if I tried a size bigger the boot fit sloppy. I unfortunately had to return December 30, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Runs small and narrow Sorel is all over the place with sizing. These are stylish, well-made boots, but on the first try, I couldn't even slide my foot in all the way. Ordered a size 9 to get the extra toe room (usually I'm an 8 in regular shoes). The midpoint of the boot sole is so narrow, even with bare feet, my foot wouldn't budge. I tried the next day with a thin sock and managed to get them on after lots of pushing and pulling. Trying to get them off was the same story, so back they go. The overall length ran a true 9, but the width was bad. This is probably the 3rd style of Sorel boots I've tried and they all seem to run narrow. I have a slightly wide foot, but can usually get away with wearing a medium width shoe no problem. These are impossible. So, the short recommendation is that if you have a narrower foot, these would be warm and stylish boots for you. I'm exchanging them for the Sorel 1964 CVS boot which seems a little more roomy. Haven't received them yet, but will post a review once I do. December 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely in love! I love these boots! I had been wanting a pair of Sorel boots for over a year but I was hesitant on the price. When Sorel had a Black Friday sale, I bought the boots immediately! I read all the reviews and wasn't sure what size to get but I ended up getting my actual shoe size (8.5). They fit perfectly and were comfy right away! Didn't even have to break them in and they feel like slippers. I love the microfiber lining, and they work great with both thin socks or thick fuzzy socks. I have yet to try them out in the snow, but they are amazing in cold and rainy weather. I bought the "curry" color and I find it goes with every outfit. Also - I have never gotten more compliments on anything I have ever owned! Not only do I feel adorable in them, but nearly everyone I see makes a comment about them. I am very happy and comfy in my new boots and the purchase was so worth it! December 27, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Order big! Love the look of these boots but they run so small! I originally ordered my normal size & had to exchange them for a full size bigger, of which are still a little snug on me. December 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Boots High Just slightly a struggle to get in. But otherwise they are good :) They keep my feet warm. #Peace December 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Boot Looking at all the reviews I purchased a size 10 in tan since most stated that the boot ran small and suggested to go up a half size. When I received my boots they were way to big. So I sent them make and ordered a 9 1/2 in black which is a prefect fit and I still wear my thick winter socks with them with no rubbing on the heal as some stated. Theses are by far my favorite pair of boats, looks great with dress as well. December 10, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by didn't last I LOVED these boots. Easy to slip on, comfy, and cute. I always got compliments on them. But after 13 months (one month after warranty) a huge hole opened up right where the suede meets the piping. So disappointed. After the cost, they should last more than 1 year. December 8, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Had to order 1.5 sizes larger I bought these boots as my second pair of sorels. I am a size 8 shoe. I ordered these in an 8.5. I had to send them back 2 times before I got the correct fit. These boots are exceptionally skinnier than the Joan of arctic boots and I recommend trying them on in person to avoid all the resizing that you will have to do. November 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Warm and Cozy! These boots keep my feet very warm and not to mention they're super cute! One downfall, the right boot rubs the back of the ankle and can be painful. I'm hoping I just need to break them in. Other than that, these are great boots for the cold and snow! November 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome boots This is my second pair of sorel boots and they are the only boots that I ever buy! The meaning you get what you pay for is so true! very affordable and last for a long time! November 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I Beg to Differ After reading many reviews of this and other Sorel boots I ordered a half size up, which, as it turned out, was a mistake and I had to return them for my usual size 9. The 9's fit like a glove with enough room for a thicker sock. I don't understand why other customers insist they run so small. My foot is wide and runs a hair shorter than a true size 9. Rated 1 out of 5 by My feet hurt I like to spend between $100-$200 on a good pair of winter boots every year. I thought that they would be decent since they are $150.00. which they are decent. they look nice, and are waterproof. but I have high heels that are more comfortable. when breaking boots in the beginning of fall I'm used to getting a blister or two, or having my feet squeezed too tightly until the leather and stitching stretch to conform to my feet. but its been a month of agony trying to break these boots in, the white accent around the boot is already peeling off and the furry part is rough and worn out, they don't look very cute anymore and they still aren't broken in. Its too bad I cant return them because ive been wearing them every day for a month trying to get them to be comfortable. Comfort is my #1. I thought they fit a little tight when I got them, but most boots do, after wearing them 5-6 times they usually stretch out. But I guess these boots are made just too good. Im not very happy. and neither are my feet. I wear a size 8.5 in shoes, and size 9 in boots. I bought size 10 in these. October 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mz Peaches I absolutely love these boots. The fit is comfortable and feels like I am walking on clouds. I highly recommend these to everyone!! I am going to purchase another pair, I am happy I finally made this purchase. September 2, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Comfy, warm & stylish but the liner ripped out of them At first I loved these boots- they were warm and a perfect fit in the foot bed and they didn't rub anywhere. I could walk for hours and my toes did not get cold in the middle of the NYC winter. I got the black which looked very stylish and went will all my outfits. My 3 star review reflects this, however, the ankle area is way too small which ultimately lead the liner to rip leaving a gaping hole, and I had to return them to my retailer after aprroximately 6 weeks of wear. I was aware of this tight ankle issue after reading other reviews, but I have small ankles so I figured those reviewers just had big ankles (Sorry reviewers!) but I was wrong. Even if I undid the laces completely my heel would stick half way down and I would have to push/pull hard to get them on. I could not have gone up a size as then they would have been too big in the foot bed. As they were super warm I only wore a standard sports sock so I know it was the design that was the issue. I was so disappointed to return them as they looked great and functioned well otherwise. I ended up swapping them for the Tofino Cate which was a big mistake (see my review) as that boot is not as warm and the leak. You might be able to get away with this boot if you aren't taking them on and off frequently or only wear them on the odd occasion, or can find a super long shoehorn to assist getting them on, but even then I don't know if you would fit a shoehorn in there it was so tight. Shame. March 4, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by NOT WATERPROOF AT ALL I bought these boots for $170 Canadian dollars - and what a disappointment they have been. I specifically bought Sorel's due to their reputation of constructing quality winter boots, and considered the cost an investment. I walk outside to work about 15 minutes in total a day - imagine my surprise when my overpriced "waterproof" boots left my feet soaking wet and freezing cold. I thought mine must be defective, so I returned them for a new pair of the same boots... and had the exact same issue. Why advertise something as waterproof that so very clearly isn't? I live in Toronto, there is hardly any snow at all and yet my feet are still cold and soaking wet any time there's a tiny bit of snow. I wanted Sorel's because they had a good reputation, this has been sadly been destroyed in my mind. March 3, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Looking; Not as Warm as Expected These boots are very good looking and comfortable. The profile is slim and provides that classic Mainer boot look without the bulk. I took everyone's advice and ordered half a size up, which was the right call. I think it's an excellent commuter boot or for doing errands when you'll encounter a mix of walking outside but also be inside a fair amount and not want your feet to overheat either. I was disappointed with how easily the cold seep up through the soles however. I primarily got these to wear at hockey games. With the thick soles I thought I'd be well protected from the cold floors and stands but even with disposable heaters the cold wins. While the foot area isn't super insulated, I did expect them to be better than the average shoe but I don't find them to be. February 23, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Leaked These boots only made it through one and a half New England winters before they started leaking. Sorel only has a one year warranty on boots. For the price of them I expected much more. February 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome!! I come from a tropical country and was not aware about Sorel brand. I did my first snow trip and when searching for winter boots I felt in love with all Sorel collection! I bought this a black Tivoli High II and it is perfect! Basic, but has a style... It is comfortable and warm. I definetly recommend this product! And if I lived in a cold Country, I would have bought other Sorel's for me, for sure... February 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Survived the Chicago/Superbowl Blizzard I bought these boots in November of 2014. I wanted to wear test them out before writing my review. I researched non-stop and these boots came in at #2 after the Joan of Artic (great boot but too heavy for me) I bought the Tivoli boot in black, size 7.5. The fit is great, I still have a little room to wear a thick sock (which you really don't need with this boot) They are super warm and comfortable to walk in. Driving with them on can be a bit annoying due the stiffness of the material around the ankle. So the final test was to wear them in a real snow blizzard. Which happened this past Sunday in Chicago! My boots were awesome! My feet were warm and dry during my walk on Sunday and Monday. I know these boot is a bit pricey for some..but if you live in the Midwest. Consider them a great investment! February 3, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Lining ripped out after wearing twice I've heard so much about the quality of Sorel, I thought these would be a slam dunk purchase. Sadly, not so much for me. My pair was defective; the lining totally ripped out of one boot after wearing the pair twice. So sad to send them back, especially with snowy weather just starting in NYC. I know these things can happen and my situation could be a fluke. The most disappointing part of the entire circumstance was the Sorel store in NYC not taking the boots back because they were ordered online. It makes no sense why a damaged boot cannot be returned in store vs. sending back to the online distributor (especially for an exchange). Big miss on customer service. January 28, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by I wish I got a different pair I got these sorels early in the year knowing they sell out fast. I didnt even end up wearing them until the return policy was up. I tried them on and they cut into my heels after wearing them for 10 min. I got a size up and thought that would solve the issue and they continue to dig into my heels. I can not return them and the size is not the issue so I am constantly trying to find socks thick enough to wear with them so they will not cut into my heels. I love sorels, they are super cute and I plan to buy a pair in the future, but maybe not the tall pair so I do not have to suffer with the cold and cuts in my boots. Such a waste :/ January 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Pair of Boots Ever Owned Super skeptical at first.. I never really heard of the brand before until last month. Living in the Chicagoland area and working downtown Chicago I was looking for a pair of boots that had style, comfort, warmth and function. Chicago has some really brutal winter although this year has been mild the cold never seized to amaze me. The beginning of winter I thought of getting a pair of Uggs but I ended up buy a pair of cheap boost from Target thinking eh they're just going to get dirty from the gruesome salt and maybe this winter wouldn't be so bad until we hit the -20s... my cheap Target boots didn't cut it frozen toes on the verge of giving up. So I decided to just take a stab at trying on a pair of Sorel Tivoli at a local Dick's; I'm usually a size 6 and when I went to try them on they were way too tight and small so I ordreed a pair of 6.5 from the website and I just got them today and instantly when I put them on and laced them up I fell in love. They were warm and not too snug. I believe I won't even have to wear thick wool socks or double up because I know they would be too thick for the boots.. maybe go up to a 7 for the future. The one down fall is driving in them it's a bit difficult to drive a manual with such thick boots but eventually I will get used to them. I am extremely glad I didn't jump the gun on a pair of Uggs that were twice as much as these. Overall the best purchase I've made for boots ever and I'm already looking forward to a different pair. January 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Replenish Sizes! Absolutely love the sorrel Tivoli boots! Please replenish the larger sizes soon! January 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Looks good; Feels good! I have been looking for a new winter boot for a long time. My challenge is that I must have the "Wide Calf" option when I buy tall boots and that can be a challenge as it is not available on all boots. Luckily this boot has laces and I can adjust the calf to fit better especially with jeans tucked in. I usually take a solid US 6 1/2 in a boot. Based on my experience with other Sorel boots, I ordered a 6 and it fit perfectly. Can't wait to really put these to the test! December 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful! Normally take a 6 61/2 was perfect especially with thick fuzzy socksLove the color, very warm and every one compliments me! Nice and waterproof. Wearing them right now while I work and I work on my feet, the support is amazing, my back doesn't hurt and neither do my feet! Love them December 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love 'em Glad I ordered a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear, because these Sorels run small. Definitely spray with protectant, as these light-colored boots show dirt after only a few outings. Basically love them, they keep my toes warm. December 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by For My College Freshman She says that she absolutely loves these boots and recommends them to others. December 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Women's Tivolli Boot I was personally on a search for the perfect boot, and Sorel was "perfect". I was traveling and needed something to keep me dry and warm. I did buy a "rubber" boot with the "sock" insert thinking I was just not going to find anything else. However, Sorel fit the criteria ---- cute, comfortable, warm, and TOTALLY WATERPROOF!!! Fantastic!! I purchased these in Vancouver, B.C. and have not taken them off since. I bought pair of these boots as a gift for two of my girlfriends, and one of my cousins. I would recommend these to anyone who would listen. and have literally done so, including a "valet" at a mall. I would be a great person for promoting this product!! December 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just as advertised I got these for my college age daughter after they had 36 inches of snow in less than a week. They shipped quickly and kept her warm and safe in the ice and snow. She has athletic calves and these fit her very nicely. The heel was a little stiff initially but she was able to work that out by bending the backs for a bit before she wore them a second time. I would highly recommend. December 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Favorite boot ever!!! This boot is so absolutely stylish, comfortable and well constructed. I have heel spurs and plantar fasciitis which are very painful a lot of the time, and once I put these boots on I didn't want to take them off. I contemplated making them my new running shoes :) I usually wear a 9-9.5 and ordered a 9.5 based on other reviews. The fit is actually perfect for me, but I have a somewhat narrow foot. I have plenty of room for regular or heavy weight socks. I haven't had to wear them in snow yet, but they were perfect in 18 degrees. I am in love. Definitely in my top 5 purchases! December 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great boot, comfortable and warm! I am normally size 9 in most shoes but tried those on and my toes were smashed against the front so I went up a whole size and ordered a size 10 and they are perfect! Just enough room for thick socks. Strongly recommend sizing up at least a half size. I got these boots in black and they are so cute! They are very warm and not too clunky for a winter boot. Best purchase of the winter. November 26, 2014
