Women’s Snowlion™ XT Boot is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like the look and comfort of this boot I really like the style and warmth that this boot provided during the first snowstorm that we had a few weeks ago ( 13 inches of snow). My problem was with NO traction on the bottom of these boots, I was slipping, sliding and then fell while shoveling the snow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this boot is perfect These are the perfect boot for northern Michigan winters. I am out for hours at a time and my feet never get cold and stay dry all day. This makes my second pair of Sorel's and I highly recommend these boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lolly Bought these to replace my 40 year old boots that finally bit the dust. They are even better than my old boots. Very toasty. Best w/o socks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Woman's Boots Need An Upgrade - But Better Than Nothing I had a pair of SnowLion boots for nearly 25 years (I kid you not, I got them when I was twelve and I still have them!!) but the upper fabric finally began to wear thin and allow water into the boot in slush. The old adage is true however - they don't make 'em like they used to. The new "tread" on this SnowLion version is not near as good as the old boots, and it is missing the laces at the top which allowed you to actually tie the top of the boot shut to keep snow out (it has been replaced with a flimsy elastic band and a plastic cinch that do not work nearly as well as the shoelace). Ladies, if you have a large foot and actually want a boot with quality tread, I recommend the men's Bear boot (though still comes with cinch and not laces) over the women's SnowLion (the women's AlphaPac is too short for trudging through our common deep snows). If you are stuck with a smaller foot, then this boot is better than nothing, but I sure wish they'd make a women's boot with quality tread and a tall shaft height.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good snow boot I wanted to try out the liner that's inside and I wanted a taller shaft boot. When I got it and brought it with me to Chicago I was pleasantly surprised how my feet were still warm. Although it is on the heavier side (since I'm not used to wearing snow boots yet). Would definetly recommend this item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these boots I have always purchased Sorel products when I lived in NY some 20 years ago. Now that I live in KY I find that I'm out in the cold more often and needed some warm boots and my first thought was 'Sorel'! Purchased them and wore them for the first time today. Was out in the cold for a little over 4 hours and my feet never got cold. Another great Sorel boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my cold weather boots! I am having trouble with my feet and these are so incredibly comfortable and warm. I dont have to wear more than one pair of socks and they hug my feet! Great Boot and highly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed Hi I am not disappointed in the product.... I think it is a quality boot and keeps your feet warm whatever you are doing. my disappointment comes because my size is not available.... I need to purchase a new pair because after 20+ years the sealant on the inside of the outer upper shaft is starting to peal off. I think it might be called gator.... What I need to know is if the larger sizes will be available soon. I highly recommend this boot to all....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beating the Snow I ordered these at the beginning of January because I moved to the shores of Lake Superior and they are notorious for their cold and snowfall. These boots have been the warmest, driest, and coziest boots I've ever worn. They are easy to put on and the height is wonderful for protecting my shins as well. I would and have recommended them already to family and friends and would definitely order them again in due time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Womens Boot I got a pair of these boots back in 1981 when a person I was cleaning house for gave me these she got for Christmas & most cetrtainly didn't want them. They're the BEST boots I've ever owned & need to be replaced

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Ice Fishing Perfect for Winter! I use these to trek through snow and wear them out on the ice for 6-8 hours. Keep my feet perfectly warm. The only down fall is the lining comes out easily when taking them off but it's not that big of an issue!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Winner I had a pair of sorel boots for over 10 years and & they weren't keeping my feet as warm as usual so I decided on these. Since I am tall , I liked that these boots went up higher for more coverage. While the weather hasn't been bad, I wore them around the house and didn't find them overly heavy as some reviews. They're snow boots so there's some weight. Very easy to get on and off and I think they look adorable in a snow bunny way!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sorel Snowlion boots I have had a pair of these boots for about 20 to 25 years! The fabric is thin & sole smooth, so they needed replacing. I was so happy that you still made them. We don't have any snow yet, but I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. The high top ties tight so snow never gets inside. They are very warm in our Wi. sub 20 degree winters. Love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best for snow I bought these last year in size 9 because I am an 8 1/2, 9 usually. The boots were so big and bulky, I returned them. This year, I ordered a size 8, they are perfect. They do not feel too bulky and the laces make them easy to adjust. I wear a size 9 in conquest carry and the riding boots, for these boots you have to pick a smaller size.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Boot is not for someone with narrow feet The boots were well-made; however, for someone with narrow feet, it did not hold the back of my feet in place well. Even with a heavy sock, the boots were not comfortable for me. They were hard to pull on. I, unfortunately, packed the boots up and returned the day after I received them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only one thing... I've had my Snow Lions for over 20 years and I love them for tromping around. I can wade through deep snow and not get it down my boots and they are very warm. Not waterproof any more because the stitching around the back of the heel has come undone and the rubber is getting dull and cracking a little with age. My only problem with the new ones is the impractical color. Who would tromp around in snow and slush in white boots?! They'd be filthy in 2 weeks. I would buy another pair if they came in anything but white. I like the forest green I have now. Can we get them in more colors?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very warm boot - Northern Michigan I bought these for my daughter as she needed something very warm. She was gone for a week as a camp counselor for middle school kids and did a lot of outdoor activities, ice fishing, hiking, etc. She found the boots to be very warm, even in below zero temperatures. She wished the liner would stay put better when taking the boot off, but overall very pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm and cozy Not the most attractive boot, especially at a size nine, but warm and does the job in deep snow and below freezing termperatures.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HUGE!!! I read all the reviews and sizing instructions before ordering and purchased my regular size. These are so big I can't wear them! When I first put them on they felt a little roomy but I usually like that in a winter boot so I can wear thick socks so didn't think twice. I wore them the next day to try to get to work in 3 feet of snow (Boston) and they were so big- in both the foot and shaft- I slipped out of them the whole time, making the walk take twice as long and really uncomfortable. I can't return them because they've been worn so haven't yet figured out what to do with them! It's a shame because there has been so much snow here I was in desperate need for a good pair. I imagine they'd be very nice, warm, and comfy if they fit properly though!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot Love these boots! They are a little big, I'm a size 8, and I have wide feet to begin with, and I think they are roomy. They are VERY warm! I love the omni heat lining inside because they keep my feet toasty warm! Very satisfied with my purchase and I would recommend them for everyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I bought this boot in a size 7, I was informed the boot ran small. I wore the boots for work and the warmth was amazing. I gave the size 7 to my Daughter. I then went back to the store and purchased another pair in size 6 (my original size). The boots "run True to size" and I am very happy with the boots and I will recommend this store to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Freezer boots for work The Snowlion boots are well made. They do fit a little large, even with both cotton and wool socks on. I work in conditions of 0 to 20 below on a lift. These boots are great if you are walking around but just standing on my lift, my toes still get extremely cold, to the point of being numb. Overall, I would recommend these boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for deep snow I bought these boots a few months ago and have been waiting for the opportunity to use them. Thanks to Chicago snow, they were put to use, and I'm very happy with them. I think they fit true to size - I wore them with normal socks and they fit perfectly - and they got me through knee- deep snow with no slipping or falling. They aren't too heavy, but trudging through snow is a workout anyway, and they don't add too much bulk. Worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Boots These are BY FAR the best boots I have ever had. I've never really splurged on winter boots, but I felt I needed something a little more extreme this year when we decided to face the Michigan winter and camp in tents one weekend/month for a year. I got these just in time for our January camping trip where the temperature ended up being in the negatives for a good part of the weekend.... Not once in the 48 hours that we were outside did my feet get cold! They are a heavy-duty boot, but not so heavy that your legs get tired after walking for a while. The draw string at the top of the boot was also handy to tuck snow pants in if needed, or to just keep the heat in your boots. I would highly recommend these to anyone that is looking for functionality over style!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from For anyone who owns this Sorel boot Does this boot have more traction on the soles than the other Sorel boots? (I've owned and worn the Sorel Caribou for women and currently own and wear the Sorel Snow Angel.) These boots keep my feet warm, but I'd also like a boot with better traction for slippery or icy conditions. Thanks, Racheal

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! Amazing boots! I bought these for Chicago winter. I wanted something that would hold up to the snow/ice/slush, keep my feet warm, and can be used for outdoor activities. I wear a 7-8 in shoes and bought the 8- perfect fit. They are comfy and cozy. It's below zero today (-30F windchill)- I wore them with wool socks. My feet were warm and cozy. First time that my feet have been warm since I was a kid. Also- they're heavier than typical boots but not so heavy that it feels like a lot of effort to walk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Boots Couldn't find these Sorel boots anywhere so I went right to Sorel on the internet and finally got the boots I wanted. They are the BEST boots you will ever have. My last pair of Sorel boots were purchased in 1985..Whtie because they didn't have black back then. I am so glad I finally boots that will defintely keep me warm. It's -8 today and I was totally comfortable in my new Sorels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be a Hottie in the Cold Recently moved to the rocky mountains and all I had were duck boots, so purchased this boot and the Glacier XT boot. This boot is heavy but actually lightweight for what it is: protection against the cold down to -40f. People say go up a size but I disagree: they look like they're made for wool socks. The quality and construction exceeds my expectations. They ARE huge but I think it's stylish in a wacky sort of way. What's hotter than a chick who isn't complaining that her feet are cold?? Something really awesome happens when worn in the cold: the longer you wear them, the more heat that is generated. When I tried on the Glacier XT boot (made for down to -100f), my feet actually started sweating after a few minutes (no wool socks either, it was indoors but still)! Those are going back but these are staying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from SOREL BOOTS BECAUSE THESE BOOTS HAVE A LINER IN THEM THAT TAKES UP ROOM ,YOU SHOULD GET A SIZE UP . THEY ARE HEAVIER THEN I THOUGHT AND MAKE MY LEGS LOOK HUMUNGOUS …..BUT THOSE ARE A SMALL PRICE TO PAY WHEN YOUR GETTING COMFORT , WARMTH AND DURABILITY .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Amazing!!! I ordered these boots because living in Wisconsin, it gets a bit cold and snowy. I LOVE these boots. I go to Green Bay Packer games and needed warm boots for the games , also walking the dog in the woods, and they keep my feet toasty warm. I normally wear a size 10, but ordered an 11 so I can wear wool socks, and they fit perfectly! You won't be disappointed!!
