Women's Slimpack™ II Lace Duck Boot is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Small Love the style but it is too small and I needed to size up. Now my size is sold out. I recommend to size up at least half size or one size up if you planning to wear thick sock.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Redwood, British Tan is more marroon I ordered the boots in Redwood, British tan. Based on the photos, the leather appears more of a shiny brown red. However, the boots are more maroon (the color of red velvet cake) and the leather is more soft and matte than shiny and hard as I assumed, which I wonder will hold up to walking through snow slush/rain. I'm on the fence for keeping these. I just ordered the black pair to decide between the two. Additionally, I wear size 8 in Sorel Winter boots and sized up to 9 after reading all of these reviews. I'm glad I sized up because if I had 8.5, I would probably have scrunched toes or not be able to wear thicker wool socks. Note: I haven't tried walking in these boots because I may need to return them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Kinda Bummed Out I have been a Sorel fan for many, many years. They were my boot of choice for snow-making and lift operation for over a decade, however, these boots did not live up to my expectations. The rubber is really thin and flimsy, making them much colder than I expected. I broke the leather pull tab the second day I had them and the heel of the boot absorbs water and becomes stained. I wear a size 11 and I could not find my size in this style in a store anywhere. The first pair I ordered was defective, the seam between the rubber and leather did not lie flat in the heel of one boot and was incredibly uncomfortable. I returned these and the second pair I received was also defective. The leather pull tab on the back of the boot broke the first time I tried to use it, the second day I had them in my possession. By this time the boots had sold out in my size and I gave up on trying to return them. I wear my boots often, but I regret spending $145 on them, they are not worth it. The quality of my twelve year old Sorel boots is much better. Save your money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute " Big" Boots After reading all reviews I decided to order a whole size up(8.5). I normally wear 7.5 or 8. These boots are just way too big. I had to give them away because I was unable to return them unless I had original tags. Pretty bummed I didn't receive a credit toward a new pair. ☹️

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely comfortable! Love these boots! Comfortable while wearing them to work which requires me to be on my feet all day. Warm for outdoor WI weather but not too warm to wear them indoors. I ordered them a 1/2 size up and they fit well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love, but runs small This boot runs very small. I wear an 8.5 or 9US or 39 euro. I received this boot for Christmas in an 8.5. I could barely fit my foot in. I tried them on at a local store in a 9, and those were too small as well. I ordered in a 9.5 and they are great. Maybe still too small with a thick sock, but fine with a normal sock. Very comfortable and very cute!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waterproof boots not waterproof I got these about two weeks ago. 1) They don't seem to keep my feet(toes) very warm in the frigid Chicago weather. Maybe that's my bad for not getting better insulated ones. 2) Now that it is raining (mid January, go figure), I noticed that my toes were getting wet just from walking through puddles! that didn't fully submerge my boots to begin with. I thought they were waterproof? This made me sad. Now I need a boot dryer because they are wet inside. 3) Only after a few times of wearing them, the loop to help get your shoe on broke as I was putting them on one day. Now I need to fix that somehow. I won't be able to use it but I can't walk around with it broken. I was REALLY looking forward to receiving these after looking for boots for nearly a month. In my opinion, they are not worth the $150 that was paid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these boots! I absolutely love these boots. I bought them around Christmas and wore them every day for the first week and often now. They have good arch support, are warm and very comfortable. I bought a another duck boot first, but after trying on the Sorrel Slimpack Duck Boot with its great fit and comfort, I returned the others. My shoe size is usually a 5 or a 5.5 but in the Sorel boot I am a size 6.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Boots fell apart after 3 days Very disappointed in these boots. I thought I was ordering a pair of good quality boots. The heel started squeaking and is separating from the boot. The other boot heel also has a different issue. See attached photos.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wet Feet I am returning my boots and getting another pair. I am not sure if they were defective or just poorly made, but I had wet feet every time I work them. They are supposed to be waterproof, but I am not sure where the water is coming in. I will try another pair of the same shoes to see if they leak too. If so, I'll return those and get a different pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but run small I am always an size 8 in Sorels! And I own a few ;). These unfortunately are far too tight, fits narrow and my toes are at the end. I would recommending sizing up at least 1/2 size if not a full size. Otherwise a beautiful shoe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Size I am a true 7.5 but will be exchanging for an 8 in these boots. Love the quality and look of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boot for Walking Just received these boots before heading to NYC for Xmas events with my BFFs. These were the only boots/shoes I brought with me and wore them everywhere as they looked super cute with leggings and over-sized top or sweater dress. I wanted a warm but comfortable boot as I probably walked 4 to 5 miles a day in them. My feet felt great by end of the day. Highly recommend. Do go up a size as I normally wear a 7 to 71/2 and got an 8. Got lots of compliments from the locals in NYC too!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the look until..... This is my 3rd pair of Sorel boots. Love the brand and the look of certain pairs. I purchased these from Journey's first but seen the Black Friday sale which was 40 bucks cheaper on the site. Overall look is fab but the rubber looks used and when I tried pulling on the boot and used the tab on the back of the boot it broke. Still love um, the look with jeans is chic (awesome)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor contruction As another reviewer wrote, the loop at the back of the boot broke before I even wore them out of the house. It was literally my first time trying them on at home, and as I pull the loop to put the boot on it tore. Poor construction. I showed the boot to a cobbler and he said I should return the boot and he thought it likely that if one loop broke, the quality of construction might not be high. I returned them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adorable but run small These boots are even better in person. I would suggest ordering AT LEAST 1/2 size up if not a full size up if you are planning to wear thicker socks. I will be exchanging my 9 1/2's for a 10 to allow for a thicker sock. I usually wear a 9.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute Boot but runs small I ordered this boot as it is more stylish than a rain boot and would look great with jeans. Unfortunately I am returning them as they run very small. I didn't even have socks on and the sz 9 cramped my toes. Normally I am an 8.5 and I do not like thick socks so I thought a 9 would work after researching the reviews. I would recommend going up atleast a full size when looking at these boots. But they are very cute and looked great when trying on. I had the kettle black color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Comfy and Cute, I've been dreaming about them! I've been wearing them almost every day since I got them! They look great with my usual fall uniform of jeans and a sweater and fit just right regardless of sock thickness. Since I bought them, I've been doing a lot of hefty yardwork and they've been holding up to scuffs and superficial damage, staying warm and watertight and gripping well on rough terrain. Second pair of Sorels I've bought and loved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So in love with these boots I found these last week at a department store, and they were on sale, so I thought I would give them a go. I was looking for something similar to the Sperry Duckboot, but with a better fit (the Sperry's fit me weird). I tried the size 9 on in these and they were super tight. They didn't have a 9.5 in store, so we were going to order them and have them sent to me. They had a 10, so I said let me try them on for the heck of it and they actually fit me really good. I had boot socks on, so that could have factored into the tightness of the 9, but the 10's fit perfectly. Not only with the tightness, but also in length. So I would advise sizing up a half to whole size. As for the weather, it hasn't snowed much yet (shockingly), so I don't know how they'll hold up in that weather, but I do know that they're great in the rain. My feet stay warm and dry. I definitely recommend. This is my second pair of Sorels; first ones were the "Newbie" style.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too small, scuffed Typically wear a 9-9.5. Ordered these in a 10 based on reviews, and they are still at least a half size small. Of course 10.5 is sold out so I ended up paying for shipping on a product I never got to use. Shoes also arrived with black scuffs and silver markings all over them. I love my other Sorel boots, but after purchasing these I will likely not be buying anything else from Sorel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Obsessed I love these boots. I usually wear a 7.5/8 so these fit right in that and I can still wear thicker socks for when it is really cold. They are extremely comfortable to wear and walk around I'm all day. I got the green and they are super cute and very waterproof. Sometimes it is a sacrifice between pretty or weather proof. I would highly recommend these to everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A solid investment, but size up! I bought these because I wanted a boot that was stylish enough to wear to my business casual office, but was also weatherproof. These seemed like a good match and thus far, they have been great boots. As other reviewers have noted, these boots run small and you will want to size up when buying them. I typically wear a 7.5 but sized up to an 8, which fits perfectly. I chose the elk/black color. The boot is lined with micro-fleece and is surprisingly comfortable- it feels like it is hugging your foot when you put it on. I've hiked in them on muddy park trails for a few hours and didn't have issues with discomfort or foot pain. Where I live, we get plenty of rain so I was quickly able to test these in downpours and large puddles. I've also sprayed the bottoms off with the hose a few times. They are indeed, thoroughly waterproof. I haven't tested them in snow yet but they've been keeping my feet warm in the 40 degree weather and would probably be adequate in snow if paired with warm socks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy but Small! I usually wear a size 8.5 in Sorel, and I had to size up a full size in these in order to feel comfortable with thick socks on. These are comfy boots, just warm enough on cold rainy days, and will be super warm with wool socks on even colder days. They're waterproof and I've tested puddle jumping in them :) They're cute, and go well with skinny jeans/leggings/regular jeans, since they look a little rain boot like, but aren't all rubber. They definitely look larger on your foot/around your ankle than some of the slimmer looking Sorels, however I have found this makes my legs look skinnier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Shoe I am a teacher and bought these as a stylish option to wear on wet weather days as well as for hiking. The first time I wore them was to a football game where we sat in the rain for 4 hours and my feet stayed warm and dry. I have worn them on other wet days and been very happy. They are also comfortable to hike in, lightweight and great in the mud. My only complaint is that they are wider in the ankles than I would like. Lacing them tighter helps. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and look forward to getting through many cold Utah days wearing them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE I love, love, love these boots! My only complaint is that I'm hesitant to wear them in bad weather because I don't want to get my cute boots all dirty!
Date published: 2016-09-27
Rated 1 out of 5 by from too small, looks weird I was excited for these to arrive but was disappointed when they arrived. I typically wear an 8 or 8.5 so I ordered the bigger option based on previous reviews. The boots were to short but the ankle opening was very wide. They did not look stylish at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheaply made, not water resistant at all The pull-loop on the back made to help pull the boot on broke the second time I put them on. The other boot followed suit two days later. Wore them in light rain twice, had an umbrella and avoided any puddles and still they were absolutely soaked. Took two days to dry out and now they smell beyond cleaning. The heal part fell apart from four days of walking on city sidewalks. They were the only boots I had on my trip so was forced to wear them which probably means Sorel won't honor their warranty. So bummed I spent this much money on a throw away product but even more bummed that I won't be buying from Sorel again as their boots are cute and comfortable, but not functional at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE them but returning to size up! I had the Winter Fancy which I ordered a half size up to a 9 so when I saw other reviews say these run small, I ordered a 9 as well. I ABSOLUTELY love them but need a larger size. So be sure to size up a whole size on these babies. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Look and well made I agree with the previous reviewer, these run small. I also wear an 8.5 and had to return for the 9. The 9 is almost to small, but they are well insulated, so I will not need to wear thick socks, so I will keep them. I purchased the black pair and they are really pretty boots. The weather is not so that I have a need to wear them now, but they will not only be functional but also very fashionable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these boots! Just received these boots the other day and I must say they are SO comfortable! I was looking for a boot that is stylish, not so bulky, yet functional, and these fit the bill. I am usually a size 8.5 and went with a 9, I would recommend going up a half size (unlike some of their other boots) as this boot has a more narrow/slim fit. I have yet to wear them in rain, but I can already tell they are going to be warm and cozy. The lining is very comfortable and they feel very supportive, I would definitely recommend these boots!
