Rated 3 out of 5 by RUNS VERY SMALL I happened across these boots at a DSW in the clearance and tried them on even though they were not my size. I normally wear 6/6.5 in Sorel and they were a size 7, but THEY FIT SNUG! I was astonished. No sorel boot that I have ever worn has fit so tight that I've had to go up an entire size. SIZE UP PEOPLE! & Although the ankle fits loose, it is very stiff and uncomfortable to walk in. It also looked extremely awkward tucking the bottom of my jeans in because the ankles are so low, you'd have to roll them up or wear leggings. I love sorel, and these are cute, but there are better sorel boots worth this price. October 15, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Love these boots, but they don't last I absolutely love these boots, so cute and are great in rain. However, they did not even make it through one fall/winter without the soles wearing almost to nothing. One ripped right in the back and now water leaks in with every wear. Love them, but question buying them again due to quality. October 11, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Too stiff at the ankle-ouch. They appear to be good quality and are so cute, but I have to wear them with thick socks to protect my ankles from having the skin rubbed off. Without socks they are so painful. Otherwise, they are fine rain shoes. October 8, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Soles broke - no arch support DON'T BUY THESE BOOTS! Bought them last winter and was very excited because it's so cute and all that jazz. Ordered one size up, which was a good idea, and indeed it looks great on my feet! BUT. For starters, absolutely no arch support. This was the first shoe I ever had this kind of problem with, and so far the last. Fixed it with one of those ergonomic insoles and it was okayish to go. AND THEN IT DIDN'T EVEN LAST ONE WINTER!!! I am talking about 3 months of use. BOTH soles simply tore holes by the heel, rendering it very much not waterproof anymore. My socks get completely soaked either in rain or snow. Again, first shoe I ever had this kind of problem before. I get it that this model was not meant to be a full on snow boot for the rest of my life but this is unacceptable. VERY, VERY POOR QUALITY. Do not recommend I guess? September 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Out N About I LOVE THESE BOOTS! They are a tad tight in the toes, but I'm not sure if its because I have long toes. They're so comfortable though and i wear them as much as i can! September 22, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Size Up Totally correct, in that I ordered a size up and it fit's perfectly. A nice waterproof shoe - excited for fall when the puddles are out! September 19, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by I really wanted to like these but... These were pretty much my dream boot when I saw them, so I got them right away. First off they ran small, which I expected, so that was fine. They were also really stiff around the ankle part, so much so the it was painful even when wearing socks or tucking my jeans into them. I'm wore them for a while (like a few months) to try and break them in, but that never really happened. I eventually got rid of them because they were kinda painful to wear. Also, the tounge on the right boot was kinda wonky, like it wasn't sewn properly? It was probably a fluke since all of the other pairs of sorels I have ever had were top quality. September 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fits just right I looked at all the reviews and sized up a whole size. I normally wear a size 8.5 to a 9 but I didn't want to get them too small. So I looked at review after review and went for a 9.5. They came today and were too Big! I am not sure why everyone is saying they run small.. they don't. The material is stiff---which is great because they feel durable but they are sized just right. If you are going to size up only size up a half size so that you can wear them with thick socks. I had to send them back and now wait for a new pair to arrive :( But they are soon cute! September 13, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by great boot I bought this boot for a trips to Ireland and Iceland They are lightweight enough for travel, warm enough for the cooler climate and are a cute shoe as well. They go well with jeans or other pants. I wanted something that would keep my feet warm, be comfortable, and would also look good. I bought nearly a whole size up (I am usually an 8, and I bought these in a 9). The larger size fits well. I have noticed that Sorel runs quite small for me; I have narrow and high arched feet. Rated 2 out of 5 by On trend style, poor fit I have ordered these shoes twice in the last 2 years, hoping Sorel would correct the fit. I am a size 10 and have ordered a size 10 1/2 last year and a 10 again this year, hoping the fit had been corrected and because that was the largest size that was available. Yet, again, I will be returning these, as they are too short and feel very strange, in general, on my feet. It's too bad, because they look to be excellent quality, as is every shoe I have ever bought from Sorel, and they are right on point, stylewise. August 4, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Shoes don't fit Had to order twice because the fit was wrong. Awesome looking shoes, just not for my feet. Stuck with sorel because I can only get instore credit, but nothing fits right. July 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Alaskan adventure I have worn these every day for 2 weeks on my travels from WA state north to AK. The leather was only stiff on first wear, well constructed, no Irish pennants on stitching. I highly recommend for wet terrain the soles have excellent traction out there on the Pacific NW forests. June 20, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Gorgeous Craftsmanship, Not as Comfy as Expected These shoes are made well, and the materials used are high quality. I normally wear a 7.5, I bought an 8 and I wish I had bought an 8.5. If you plan on wearing hiking socks or fluffy socks, make sure you go up a FULL size. The leather used on this does not stretch like you'd think it would. Mine are still a struggle to get on. Love them, would recommend them, just go up a FULL size. May 19, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by The bottom broke after three months I purchased this for my mom as xmas gift in Dec 2015. She only wears them when she goes out with our dog for max. 15 min. walks occasionally and the rubber on the bottom of the heels broke after ONLY three months of use and the quality of this product is very disappointing! We thought it would last a little longer than a few month use, now she can't wear it anymore because her socks get wet and where we live rain often. April 30, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not as small as reviewed I ordered one size up as was recommend because the reviews all said how small they fit. I would have been fine with 1/2 size up instead of a whole size because I feel like they fit a bit too big now. Quite disappointed as it will be a huge hassle for me to return them. The tongue is also extremely bulky and makes the fit rather uncomfortable. April 9, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Adorable! Like most have recommended, I would definitely get at least a half size bigger than what you normally wear. I am a size 8 1/2 and ordered size 9. They were tight when I first put them on, but after wearing them around the house for a hour I could feel them loosening. I have a narrow foot, so if you have a wider foot I would get a full size bigger than your normal size. Super adorable shoes! March 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Boot! I read the reviews before the purchase, and settled on a half size bigger. I wear a 6.5 I went with a 7. They seemed tight at first. I wore them for a week straight and they broke in. They are absolutely perfect. I get compliments, they are fantastic in the rain, puddles, and mud. Though they don't have the best traction for mud, purely rain boots. I will order another pair later down the road and recommend them to everyone! March 13, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Yes, they run small, but worth it! I was a little nervous ordering these boots after reading a lot of mixed reviews, but I'm really glad I made the purchase! They seem good quality to me, although I don't wear them everyday. Soles seem fine! They do run small. I am a true 7 and ordered a 8. They were tight when I first tried them on, but they have definitely stretched out with wear. They're comfortable and versatile. Practical if you don't need a full (tall) rain boot, or snow boot. I love them! March 3, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by WAY TOO SMALL! I love these boots but they are WAY TOO SMALL. Based on the reviews I ordered a half size up but am thinking I should have ordered at least a full size up if not more. Sadly I will be returning them and am extremely bumme/annoyed that I have to pay return shipping when it is apparent these shoes run REALLY REALLY REALLY small. March 1, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great sturdy slip-ons for all seasons I normally wear a 9.5 in boots, after reading reviews I chose to order a size 10 and they fit perfect. Really comfy and just what I was looking for! February 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful!!! Fitting this bootie was very tricky. I really wanted them and researched sizing, read reviews and eventually purchased one size up. When I received them, they were huge!!! I exchanged them and only went up 1/2 a size second time around. They fit perfectly and are not only very comfortable but also very cute. Don't get disappointed if your size is not available. I signed up to get notified and it only took like a week. Highly recommend this bootie. February 24, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Cutest shoes way too small I wanted these shoes so bad and was so excited to order them. They were sold out everywhere i went to try on but I read they ran about a half size small. Wrong! I am usually a 7 or 7.5 and I ordered an 8 and they are so tight it hurts to even stand in them. I can tell there is a gap between the lining and the outside of the shoe that would have given me an extra half inch or so. I would say these run a whole size maybe even 2 sizes (for thicker socks) small. Order WAY up February 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bigger than I yhought I love the boots, but I had to return them. They were too big. I usually wear a 7 - 7.5, so I ordered an 8 based on reviews. I sent them back and ordered a 7.5. February 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by exactly what I was looking for I was looking for a pair of boots that worked well with light snow & rainy days & these boots definitely work for both. I usually wear a 6 (I have the caribou boots as well for heavy snow since I live in upstate NY) but ordered a 7 for these boots since many reviews said they run a tad small & I am soooo glad I listened to them! They slipped on perfectly & can be worn with thin or thick wool socks (I've done both & they're equally comfortable). As for quality I haven't had a single issue with tearing or anything being made poorly, I also haven't experienced any discomfort from the shoes. The boots also keep your feet decently warm but not so warm that your feet sweat. February 2, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cute, comfy and stylish A friend of mine raved about these boots, and me being skeptical as usual, wasn't into them until I tried them on and fell in love. I recently bought the grey ones and I absolutely love them. It takes about a day or two to break in, make sure to wear taller socks for those days because the top part is still a little stiff and will chaff your ankles. The fit does run small, I usually wear a 6/6.5 and went up to a 7.5. Super comfy and fully protected from the rain. I do recommend these if you're looking for a functional boot that isn't too clunky, flatter foot bed and nice protection from that nice PNW rain! February 1, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Great but tears easily I love this shoe and wear it daily. I've had this shoe for only a few months and wore them routinely. I've read about the bottom of the shoes sanding and thinning out but I just assumed the wearer heavily rested on their heels. Unfortunately, I found out while I was walking in some puddles with my son that the shoe is poorly constructed. The back bottom labeled is ripping apart from the shoe. I will be sending these since they are still under warranty and is outside of its normal wear and tear January 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Out and About I have bunions and flat feet so ordering shoes online is not what I usually do. But I loved the look of these shoes/boots and needed a shoe I could wear during the rainy season so I took a chance. At first I thought, ugh, these are stiff and uncomfortable. But I decided to wear them around the house for a day to see how they felt. Turns out they have become more comfortable the more I wear them and I now wear them even if it's not raining. I get a lot of compliments on them too. So I definitely recommend them. My size is 8 1/2 and they only size I could find was a 9, they are fine, but I can't wear thick socks with them. I love them. January 25, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Bad quality I bought them from Amazon, but after three month they got damage, the outsoles got holes I thought sorel brand it was a good quality, I just lost my $ 120 dollars. January 24, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Snug fit Heed the warning that these boots run small. I ordered a half size larger and they are still too small. Otherwise, these boots are great! January 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Get it! Sure to excel expectations. I love this boot so much if they ever have a size 8.5 in the other colors ever again I would get them both! I normally wear an 8 but I saw the reviews saying you should order a whole size up. The 8 fits me on the larger side but a 7.5 is way to small so I typically do an 8 and it's great. So I got the 8.5 and was scared it wasn't going to fit! It did fit. I'm so glad because the boot is super cute and I have room to wear thin socks or thick ones. I wear them to work all the time. People say things about them a lot. The rubber seems thinner than most boots, but I think it just gives them a unique look and lighter feel, and the leather looks great and is super soft. It also hides scratches well. I have a friend that has this boot and her heels are wearing down. I think that has to deal with how you walk. Just don't drag your feet and you will be a lot better off. So far mine look and feel great! One of my best online buys EVER! January 22, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not what I expected This boot is really cute, however this will be the second time I have to send them back and pay for shipping & handling due to a small fit. I normally wear a 5.5 and reordered a 6 and it still is way to small. Would not purchase this boot again January 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Size difference Love these boots! Functional and very stylish...however shocked they were a size and a half too small. January 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable to wear everyday! I needed a winter boot for work but did not want a tall heavy boot, something like a shoe. This fits the bill. I wear them everyday, they are light and comfortable. I am going to get another pair, different color in case they don't make them next year. This is my 5th pair of Sorel's over the years, trusted and true company. January 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome boots run small Love love these boots! Just a warning, they are a bit small. I bought an 8.5 and they were snug, had to go up to a 9 for proper fit- usually wear an 8.5. January 15, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed I love Sorels and this was my next purchase. These run WAY to small. Now my size isnt available. Will you be getting bigger sizes in anytime? I need a 8.5 in color quarry would buy them if they were correct sizes. Booooo January 13, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great boots, but RUN SMALL for Sorels!!! These boots are very nice, but the big disclaimer is they run at least a half size smaller than other Sorel boots. I got these as a Xmas present for my wife, who already owns a pair of taller Sorels (similar to Joan of Arctic). I ordered the same size she currently wears, and unfortunately they didn't fit. Replaced them with a 1/2 size larger and they're perfect. January 7, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Runs small Ordered this boot for my daughter and it runs about a half a size small. We are so bummed they do not have her size now! January 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent & Comfy Little Rain Boot! I love how stylish and small this boot is while still providing a comfortable and waterproof choice for rainy days. January 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect and practical Absolutely love these boots! I read a ton of reviews and opted to go a full size up. I am normally an 8.5 in most shoes sometimes even a 9 so I ordered a 9.5. When I received the boots in the mail I tried them on and "thought" they were too small... They are just a bit narrow at the toe. I wore them the entire day shopping/doing errands and they molded nicely to my foot! I am completely satisfied! Side note: be careful on ice they are not slip resistant l. January 5, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by odd fit .. But I love the style So many reviews said these run small and to order one size up. I would say this is true from other sorel boots. My Cate the Greats are an 8, those ran big in my opinion. I ordered these in a 9.5 because i typically wear an 8.5-9. I feel like these fit in the toes but slightly slippy on the heal. I think I could have stuck to a 9 instead - but i am going to keep these and wear a thick sock. Maybe some kind of heel insert that could grip the sock might help the heel from slipping.. They are such a great looking boot and I so well made... But the fit is a little strange. I would say, order 1/2 a size up at most. January 4, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Out and About After reading many reviews which some said true to size, the majority said runs small to order up any where from a half size to two sizes bigger. I first seen this boot while shopping in my local mall and the only size they had was a 9. They weren't really all that big considering I normally wear a 7. Because of the reviews, I was thinking I would need an 8, and I was able to find one other store in my area that had an 8. I quickly ran to that store, to my surprise an 8 was too tight, I tried a 9 again but it's just too big so I came to the Sorel site and ordered an 8 1/2, I'm hoping they will fit perfect when they get here! I've owned Sorels in the past and also have the Joan of Arc that I purchased last year. I've NEVER had to buy anything larger than my normal size 7 so I can't imagine why Sorel is so far off on correct sizing on the Out and About boot, this is why I gave them a 3. The boot itself is very nice looking. January 4, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by too small I wanted to love this boot, but way too small. I might order a full size up it there was one in stock! Bummed.. January 4, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Runs small I read reviews before buying that warned this boot ran small so I ordered a half size up - I wear a US 8.5 and UK 39 but had to return them for a full size up! Most reviews were saying half size so start there (?) The sage/black is exactly as shown - love them!! I wore them the entire week I finally got them. Not much support for those needing it but luckily not a problem for me with big cozy socks. Definitely a recommend. January 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Out and About Leather Boots This is an awesome boot! Runs about half size small, usually wear a 7-7.5 so ordered an 8. Have always loved Sorels. Still have a pair from 1990- purchased in Telluride. You will not go wrong to invest in this brand! January 4, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Order 2 Sizes Up I wear size 6 but ordered size 7 based on the reviews - still too tight, even with thin socks. Ordering size 8 to see if they fit better. Very cute though! January 3, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Go up a size These are obviously extremely popular. Super cute for casual wear but also functional in the rain season. They run an entire size small. I normally wear a 9.5 but had to get a 10.5 January 2, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by > 1 size too small with painful hard points I tried these on in store, but they only had a size 9 which was a bit snug, so I ordered a 9.5. I normally wear 8.5. The 9.5 were almost impossible to get on, but stretched a little when warmed up. The material rubbed very uncomfortably when I walked and gave me a blister from a short walk. The tongue material is folded in a way that produces a hard bump right on the top of your foot and I was desperate to take them off by the end of the day. definitely a return January 2, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Good quality and great looking, BUT... These boots are so cute. They are a little narrow and hard to get on at first, but they loosen up after a few times of putting them on and taking them off. The crucial flaw here is that they are advertised as being good in rain and mud, but, infact, are slippery on wet surfaces. Traction was one of the qualities that made these boots attractive to me. I love them but, unfortunately, will probably return because they are not what I was told. January 1, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wore them 2 weeks in a row out of the box! I had been eyeing these for a while and finally made the decision to buy them after all the rain we've been having. I am normally a 7.5/8 in shoes and read previous reviews that these run a little small so I purchased an 8 to be safe. Initial thought out of the box: super cute, but not much to them as far as warmth or support. They were really hard for me to get on the first couple of times and the loop on the back was too small for me to get a finger in to help pull them on. I was a little nervous, they were pretty snug the first few times wearing them! loved the color and the feel of the leather though. Ended up wearing them for 2 weeks straight, thick socks definitely a plus! They did stretch out and are now pretty loose on my foot unless I wear thick socks- like the fleece pajama socks..probably could have gotten away with a 7.5 just fine. Cons: they dont have much shape to them, so if you are looking at them for style, almost looks like there is no difference between L and R, and the toes on mine curl upward slightly, probably because they are a half size too big. Pros: comfortable, wore them to the mall with jeans, and to dog agility in the barn with no issues. Havent had much chance to test them in downpour rain, but walking around in wet grass or through small puddles has been no issue. Overall- if you are thinking of buying them, do it. Its worth it and they are very versatile shoes. December 30, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by The lining of the boot did not go to the end of the shoe Ordered a half size bigger due to reviews, received the boots very quickly but the lining in the boots did not go all the way to the toe of the boot making it too small even though I ordered a half size bigger, will be returning December 30, 2015
