Women's Cumberland™ Boot

Warm and Dry Firstly, these boots are great! I normally wear a size 8, but have a narrow foot. The size 8 is roomy making it comfortable to wear a heavy sock.I was able to test them immediately out of the box with a foot of snow, ice and slush. They are warm, waterproof, have great traction, and very comfortable—no breaking in period (I walked 1 mile with them on the first outing).I have small calves and the upper boot fits great, however if you have larger calves you may not be able to lace them all the way up without purchasing longer laces. Love My Sorels Finally after too many years to count, (almost) wore out my zip Sorel boots and so purchased these. They feel fabulous on and I am expecting to wear these for years as well. Style, comfort, durability. What's not to like?!! November 22, 2013
Want warm, dry feet? Get it here! My story? Backpacker. Not always, however, now ... yes. Love and have Sorrel Cumberland, size 6 1/2 (which fit like a glove and have worn around town,on short walks, trail hikes). Not what one wants when hiking long distances with altitude gains and losses. Understand now what is then disired is 1 to 2 sizes larger to save the toes/toe nails. NEVER BOUGHT A SHOE BIGGER THAN MY FOOT (call it "too big") BEFORE IN MY LIFE! Did still want the warmth and comfort experienced from my size 6 1/2 Cumberland boots ... so bought a size 8. What a score! With the same, thick, wool socks ... and the perfect lace-up situation on the Sorrel Cumberland, my feet are SO HAPPY. No longer do the toes hit the front of the toe box when going down mountain sides for 4 hours at a wack! The heel sits beautifully where is should. Foot does not slide around. NO BLISTERS. Did not even need a "break in" hike. Put them on ... paid attention during the lace up... and off to the summit! June 4, 2013
Great Boots These were a great price. I am usually a size 8 or 8 1/2 but a size 9 fit perfectly. So I would suggest going up a size. They feel comfortable and warm. May 7, 2013
Awesome product I bought this product for my daughter, she loved it. It was delivered in only 2 days, and it came as featured in the web site. We are very satisfied with the service and product. April 25, 2013
Great boot Reviews mentioned that the boots ran big. I'm a 8 1/2 and with thick socks, I wanted the boots to fit comfortably. A size 8 was too tight even with thin socks. A size 9 works, but is slightly large. I'd be happier with a 8 1/2. April 12, 2013
Great boot! I had another pair of Sorel women's boots for many years, probably 10 or more. Easy to walk through heavy snow and slushy muck. Feet stay really dry and warm. They finally started wearing out, so I replaced them with the women's Cumberland boot. Can't wait to try them out back in Minnesota! April 2, 2013
Great boots I got theses boots for sledding. We had already put our sleds up for the summer, but drove up to the hills just to test them out they where wonderful. My feet stayed warm and dry the whole time and my feet did not feel weighed down by clunky boots. I will order another pair of these for my daughter couldn't be happier. March 31, 2013
Comfy and Cozy I love these boots. They keep my toes toasty but aren't too cumbersome or heavy. I can't wait for the next snow season. March 18, 2013
Length fits well, ankle doesn't The foot part of the boot fits true to size. But the top, coming up the leg, isn't small enough to be laced tightly. Was hoping to be able to traipse through snow in these... I think I still can, but I might end up with a little snow in my boot on occasion. Not ideal.Boots are well constructed, have great traction, and are surprisingly lightweight and comfortable. As far as all-weather boots go, these are quite attractive as well.Overall: I will be keeping these and have enjoyed wearing them thus far. March 10, 2013
I've finally gotten my Sorels! I've waited for years to find Sorels at the right price and I hit it just right! The 'Cumberlands' fit great, are warm and stylish, as well-just as advertised. I bought a size 8, which is my usual size for heavier footwear. I almost hate to say it but if another big snowstorm comes this way, I wouldn't be too unhappy-I'd get to show off my Sorels! March 10, 2013
Great boot! I read the reviews and got a half size smaller as recommended; however, I thought it was a bit snug. I would've gotten my true size. Overall, great boot. Very warm, waterproof, and stylish1 March 5, 2013
Love these boots! Highly recommend these boots to anyone who wants warm, dry feet during the cold, snowy winter months! They do fit slightly small, so I ordered 1/2 size up, and with heavy socks they have a snug fit around the arch of the foot, but the toes are comfortable, with room to wiggle. Would buy them again if I needed a new pair! Love these boots! February 26, 2013
Snow? Rain? Bring it on with my Cumberlands! Now these are some great rugged yet feminine boots for some very COLD weather. I bought the Joan of Arctic's to wear more for warm fashion but these? These are the ones I'll be pulling out to shovel snow, walk the dog on a cold rainy winter day, or any outdoor sport activity when it's brutal out. Opted for the turtle dove color because I'm more fashion focused than utilitarian look. I don't need any more winter waterproof warm boots in my closet. Thanks Sorel! February 23, 2013
Love my boots! I had been searching for a pair of winter boots for quite some time, but couldn't justify spending over $200 on a pair of Uggs that I had also fallen in love with. These boots have everything I wanted and more! They are comfortable, warm and look good on the feet. My feet are very wide and I usually wear a size 8.5 for boots. I got a size 9 and there's still plenty of room for thick socks.I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and with the low price, no other boots can beat it! February 17, 2013
Very Nice product we ordered these boots in a rush for a quick snowmobile trip that popped up my wife is more of a beach person so my friends told me to get these so she would be warm, we snowmobiled for 4 days in some cold weather and she was perfectly warmgreat quality product i have 2 teen age daughters and i will be getting them the same brand as welloh and shipping was extremely fast'Thanks Todd February 14, 2013
Love them Based on others' reviews I ordered down half a size. The only little trouble I have right now is that the seam across the top of the foot is a bit tight--I don't have pudgy feet, and I'm not wearing thick socks. It should stretch out over time, though. I've had too many sloppy, clompy too-big snow boots; if I had to choose, I'd rather they were a little snug so I don't have to walk like a caveman. :) Enjoy! They're great! February 11, 2013
Cumberland boots are rugged with a feminine flare These boots are rugged looking but the Sherpa trim girlies them up a bit. I haven't used them in the deep cold yet, but in the snow they are great and lighter weight than same style of 20 years ago. I got a half size larger than my normal size they fit perfect. Downside...these boots make my socks creep down to my arch, that's a nuisance. February 10, 2013
GREAT BOOT!!! This boot is true to size. It runs a bit wide, but perfect to wear w/ wool or thick socks. Very warm! WATERPROOF! Material wipes clean:) Perfect for hiking, snowy areas, or just rainy days to keep dry and warm. February 6, 2013
comfortable very comfortable and warm January 29, 2013
Great quality and Great looking Boots These boots are great - I did a two-mile hike, with snow sometimes up to my knees, and aside from the snow that forced itself over the cuffs, my feet were warm and dry. They are a smidge large, but I tend to wear thick wool socks and liners in snowy weather. Good sticky sole, also - no mishaps in icy areas. January 4, 2013
WOW Fantastic boots!! Very warm, look great with my ski jacket. They make my feet fell great even after wearing them all day. I get SO many compliments on them. Cute, cute , cute boots that feel fantastic on ..now thats a good buy! December 16, 2012
Good purchase! These boots are great! They run a little big - I normally wear an 8 1/2 but got an 8, and there's still a lot of room for thick winter socks (which is excellent). They are nice and warm, and not too heavy to walk in. They're not super flexible, but then they're boots, so.... The only thing that could improve these is if there was a way to cinch the laces so they don't loosen as you tie them up. I'll be trying them out in sub zero temps this winter, and suspect they will hold up fine. Even if not, they were a sale item and will do great for general winter weather. June 11, 2012
Great boots The boots are comfortable, their quality is beyond expected.I'm very happy with them.Even the prize is convenient! sale prize! I definitely recommend to anyone to buy them. March 26, 2012
Great Buy I tried on several pairs of boots, but these definitely fit well and and keep my feet very warm. I love them and know they will last for years!! February 17, 2012
quality snow boots I was looking for snowboots that could travel overseas and would be worn in a European city caught up in the recent freeze: these light, but well-made snowboots have good insulation and good style for an urban setting mired in deep winter weather. But it did run smaller than expected, had to be re-ordered a size up. February 16, 2012
Very happy I bought these boots! I rarely write reviews but wanted to recommend these. Today I wore my new boots on a 3mile hike, temp about 15 F, trudging through about 6" of fresh snow. My feet stayed toasty warm and dry, and they had enough support to not leave my feet & legs wishing for an insert. I am a true 8M and this boot fit comfortably (not too snug nor slipping) with a cushy athletic sock. I bought them to snowshoe in and I can't wait to use them! I consider them " skinny jeans and flannel shirt" cute. January 13, 2012
Order half size up but may not fit for people with feet wide at toes. I wear an 8.5 so I ordered a 9. Fit except too tight across toes so exchanged for a 9.5 but still too tight across toes so gave to my younger daughter who normally wears a 9. Fit her perfectly and she loves them.Additional pair was ordered size 9 for my other daughter who normally wears an 8.5 to 9 and she loves them too. So only problem could be if your feet are a bit wide across toes like mine. December 29, 2011
Freezing Feet with Cumberland model It is -4ºC outside and just with 15 minutes of waiting for the bus my feet were freezing and I was also wearing wool socks!! I felt the materials very cold on my feet!! I bougth the boots the last year 2010 and I had the same problem. I'm very disappointed too!! December 19, 2011
Love these boots! The boots fit perfectly and are as comfortable as bedroom slippers. They keep my feet warm in the wet rain and snow, plus they are just beautiful! I couldn't be happier. December 14, 2011
Boots These books are very comfortable and true to size. November 30, 2011
awesome for casual days These boots are awesome and have kept my toes warm in the first few weeks of Utah winter. I'm sure they'll be great all winter. November 18, 2011
cute comfortable stylish and great quality I highly recommend Sorel products I have 3 pairs of their boots and I love them all! October 19, 2011
Would recommend, but. . . The boot runs very small--short and tight. An attractive boot and seemed to be plenty warm while I wore it around the house. Try ordering a size and a half larger than you would normally wear. February 5, 2011
Freezing Feet I thought these would keep my feet warm, but at 4 degrees F outside my feet feel numb with cold. I don't know how they can be advertised as 'seriously warm'! I would NOT recommend these for warmth. February 2, 2011
very nice boot havent had winter boots in years and I am a very cold person! These are very comfortable, very light and roomy. I wear 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe/boot. These are 8.5 with room for heavy socks. I havent spent a long amount of time outdoors with them (southern NY state), just in/out of the car to work and stores, but I loves these and still cant believe how light they are. I am very happy with them. January 13, 2011
Definitely NOT "Warm I wore these boots to a football game in Wisconsin when it was 25 degrees out and my feet were already frozen while driving to the game! I had to go buy hand warmers to put in the boots to warm up my feet for tailgating and the game. They claim they are good for -25 degrees, but thats not the case. I'm very disappointed! I do NOT recommend!! December 10, 2010
Warmer than warm! It is 20 Degrees outside in NH today, on 12/31/2009, and my boots are very warm. I have been shopping all day in and out of car, trudging through the snow, and I couldnt ask for a better pair of winter boots. I just purchased them, and they are the first pair of winter boots I have owned since I was a kid....seriously. thanks ! December 31, 2009
Not Warm The Cumberland is cute and comfortable but no way is it warm. My toes were cold at 30 degrees and it is rated for 25 below. It is lightweight and good for slush but don't count on warm feet in winter conditions. I recommend it only for Spring or Fall but not for Winter. December 11, 2009
