How to Measure Your Foot

  • Place your feet flat on a piece of paper and mark your longest toe and the back of your foot. It's best to do this standing and wearing socks
  • Measure the length (cm) straight from your longest toe to the back of your foot using a ruler or measuring tape.
  • Use the chart to find your size.

Women's Caribou® Boot 4.3 5 263 263
Great product This boot is perfect for the cold weather. The height is perfect and the fact that it is completely closed makes snow play time and work time much more fun. Also the liner on the inside was not as warm as I expected. Not to mention that these boots are fashionable; they go with jeans, leggings, snow pants. If you wanted to you can even tuck your jeans into the boot and it becomes a great snow bunny look. Lastly, these boots are impossible to slipp in. Walking on ice is like driving with chains/4 wheel drive. Overall this are great boots and I would recommend them to any customer. December 18, 2011
Gorgeous Boots! I bought these boots as a Christmas present to myself and I am so happy I did! I ordered the black pair and received them yesterday - they are gorgeous and well made!! (They remind my of $300 ski boots!) After reading the reviews I decided to to get a size 6 instead of my usual size 7. When I first tried them on they were a bit snug. But after walking around in them they got roomier and are now very comfortable. I also tried them on without the inside sock/lining and the boot was super big! I personally had trouble pulling out the liner - but if you tug from the fluffy top you will see where the liner seperates from the actual boot and you can pull out. The boots are on the heavy side so I don't forsee myself walking all day in them. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and looking forward to NYC's first blizzard! December 25, 2010
Great boots These are my first true snow boots and I love them. It's been really icy outside and I feel so confident (but still cautious) as I walk around the city (Montreal). I didn't heed the warnings of other reviewers to buy them a size or two smaller than my true size so mine are definitely a tad large on me. I'm typically a 7 but bought a 6.5. Oh well! The only real downside is that my fiance doesn't like them...even tho he wishes he had a pair (for practical reasons). January 6, 2015
Great Boot, but EXTREMELY Bulky I purchased this boot after spending months researching a good waterproof, warm boot option. Last winter, my feet were always cold. Today is the first day I wore my boots and I must say that they are extremely warm. Your feet will be dry and warm for sure. The boot does run big. I wear a size 9, but ordered a size 8 which is a perfect fit. Also, these boots are VERY BULKY. I was shocked when they came in the mail. Initially, I thought they were men's boots or for lumberjacks. I mean, they are huge and heavy. If all you care about is keeping your feet warm and day then these are the shoes for you. January 6, 2015
Bulky Nice artic boot but they were WAY too bulky and heavy for me. Therefore, I returned them. :-( January 5, 2015
Great boot built for the extreme cold I live in northern NH, and we get quite a bit of snow and low temps for the winter. I got these mostly because they are: waterproof, warm, grippy on ice, high quality that will last years. I did read other reviews that says it runs large. It does. I'm normally a size 9, and I was swimming in a 9, but I was too afraid to go a full size down, so I did a 8.5, which works fine. It fits cozy when I wear wool socks, and just a little roomy with regular cotton socks (which is good for creating and trapping hot air in so that's fine too). I took these for a 3 mile hike one day and they were super comfy, I didn't slip on the ice once, and my feet were the warmest thing on my body. It was awesome. I also see some people complaining that they are heavy. DUH. The heavy soles keep your feet on the ground and help prevent slipping on the ice. They are built like that on purpose. But really, they aren't that bad. Once you wear them a few times, your legs will get used to it. No big deal. Highly recommend these! January 5, 2015
Arctic Apocalypse Great boot. Could get your through an arctic apocalypse. The only downside is that they're pretty bulky. I wasn't expecting them to be so heavy and thick, but I've gotten a ton of compliments on them and my get have stayed nice and cozy. December 31, 2014
Great Winter Boot My mom has had her Caribous for over 20 years. Decided to invest in my own. Don't mistake a clunky boot that is wide for a shoe that runs large. I am a true 10. Ordered a 9.5 since they were out of 10s. They fit fine. I would order same size or 1/2 size down maximum unless you have small, petite feet. Mine are pretty normal. I don't think they are too wide but, I need to break them in. They are a waterproof boot for super cold temperatures. They look cute but are a larger structured boot. Get this boot if you want it to do some work! For those saying it's too clunky must not have super cold and snowy winters because I need this boot to survive winter! December 30, 2014
This product looks clunky I am usually a size 6, but when I received the Caribou in a size 6, the foot of the boot, all around, looked two sizes too big. The boot itself is very heavy and the shaft felt uncomfortably tight. The product looks fashionable and functional online, but it looks clunky and large in person. I really wanted a good pair of winter boots, but I am going to return them. December 23, 2014
So Disappointed! Bought this boot 3 years ago. I wear it to walk the dogs in the snow maybe 2 hours 3 or 4 times a week during winter months. This year the rubber is cracking and not reparable per the shoe repair shop. I thought the boots were great because they kept my feet warm and dry. They look like new with hardly any wear EXCEPT the cracks in the rubber! I am so disappointed. December 18, 2014
VERY HEAVY Boot - twice the weight of others! Ordered these for my daughter in college. She had tried on other styles in the store and didn't realize some Sorel boots weigh more than others! They weigh TWICE what the other boots do! Please be aware of this before you order and have to pay for two-way shipping!!! December 17, 2014
Poor Quality I bought a pair of Caribou boots 3 yrs ago and by the end of the first winter of wearing them, the rubber was cracked on the inner side of both boots. I returned them to the store I purchased them from and received a new pair. Again, by the end of the following winter the rubber was cracked on both boots. My husband has the same boots and the same thing happened to him, though he was able to wear them for 2 winters before the rubber cracked. We purchased these boots thinking they would be high quality and would last for a number of years. Very disappointing and frustrating. December 14, 2014
CITY GIRL MOVES TO THE COUNTRY I LOVE THESE BOOTS. TOOK SOME GETTING USED TO THE SIZE AND GRANDEUR BUT AS SOON AS I WORE THEM OUTSIDE IN THE MUD AND SNOW I REALIZED THE INCREDIBLE VALUE!! FEET STAY DRY AND WARM! THERE IS A LITTLE ROOM IN THE TOE SO MY FEET ARE NOT TOUCHING THE FRONT IN AN 8.5. LOVE THEM! December 12, 2014
If you want a sturdy and blue collar boot... This boot is definitely the top of the line boot for anybody interested in a solid, warm and rugged boot. As far as sizing, I ordered a half a size smaller and was glad I didn't order a full size smaller. It is a heavy duty boot for a reason as you would generally wear heavier socks if you are putting on these things! December 11, 2014
Great boot with bad fit According to size chart, my foot is between a 6 and 6 1/2. I tried on my daughters size 7 and they were slightly large, so I ordered a 6 for myself. Had to return because they were way too big. My daughter loved her 1st pair so much I ordered her another pair in 7, they are getting returned because they are too big. They are just not true to size. Their exchange policy is awful. I am now ordering another pair for myself from a dept. store, so at least if I have to return this pair, I can go to the store for an exchange. Keeping in mind the nearest store to sell Sorel boots is over an hour away. But they are really cute and feel really warm. I know people who have said they have had the same pair for over 5 years. So I hope this is worth the hassle. December 11, 2014
Comfortable and Durable These boots are bulky but it should be expected as they are for extreme weather conditions. They will definitely protect your feet from heavy rain and snow. They are also very comfortable and can make a fashion statement if worn correctly. I love them ! December 10, 2014
Uncomfortable I ordered a 5 due to the reviews. I usually wear a 5.5 and sometimes a 6. My feet were thrown forward in these boots like ski boots; so there was space behind my heel, but my toes were crammed into the front. They also rubbed by outer ankle bones, only had them on a couple of minutes and my ankles were red when I took them off. Sending them back. I did like they color and the way they looked though. December 9, 2014
Bummed I had to pay to return! Sorel makes good quality boots period! These are super cute, especially warm for cold Colorado winter days, but fit a bit big and clumpy, as I typically wear a size 8 and ordered a 7.5 and they were still big! I'm disappointed in the return process as it cost me $20 to return boots that I didn't like enough to keep:-( December 9, 2014
absolutely fantastic boot!! As I am writing this review, I will say that to it is a balmy 7 degrees in upstate NY today and I have been trekking around in these boots without socks and my feet have been more than warm! There's a lot of ice outside right now and I haven't landed on my rear yet so I give these boots and A++ for traction! I will say though, this is a true SNOW boot, it is not for the faint of heart so if you're looking for something cute and light weight, go with something else because you're going to be getting a leg work out from these babies. That being said, I would not be opposed to rocking these babies at my job(I work at a mall) because they're still fashionable even if they are a little clunky. They are exactly what I have been looking for in a snow boot and more! Not sure if I needed to but I did put some protective spray on the leather for the days when the snow is up to my knees. Seems to be working great thus far! I am normally a 7.5 but I went with a 7 and if anything they still feel a little big so I would definitely recommend going down a full size! Stay warm out there guys! December 8, 2014
Love this boot! I live in Idaho and our winters can get pretty cold and the snow deep. This boot kept my foot dry and warm and gripped the terrain only had a few slide outs! I do recommend though maybe going into a store and trying the boot on first just to make sure you have your sizing down. I usually wear a size 7.5 to an 8 and a 7 in this boot fit my foot perfectly with enough room for a thick sock if need be. The boots are a little heavy but I feel like that comes with the territory considering it is a boot for heavy snow. These boots do pack out with time so keep that in mind! Highly recommend! December 7, 2014
Serious Snow Boots for a Cold Winter Received these boots in the mail when the Midwest was experiencing very cold weather in the month of November this year. Don't plan on having to double up on socks, because it is certainly unnecessary as my feet were comfortably warm at all times. They were a bit heavy, but I expected this for a good winter boot. And no chance of slipping as they have serious traction. Love them! Would highly recommend to other potential buyers. December 7, 2014
Now this is a BOOT I don't normally write reviews but I couldn't resist. First off, this is not a dainty boot, which isn't what I wanted, so if you are going for cute maybe pick something else. Construction of the boot is so solid. They are little snug in the toe at first but that is just the padding inside, I am positive they will loosen up. There is double and triple stitching so I know hey will hold up to the Michigan snow! The sole is nice and thick. I technically wear an 8 1/2 wide so the 9 gives me plenty of room width wise and allows me room for the inserts that I like to use. My only constructive criticism is that the lace up ends about two inches from the tip of the tongue of the boot, as they break in I know the tongue will flop down or out because of this. They are everything I hoped hey would be though! Also, I got regular shipping and they were here in two days, so thanks for that!! December 4, 2014
Not the first pair Its easy to have brand loyalty when the quality has been there for years. Purchased my first pair of pack boots in 1976. Just recently retired them. My wife has had a pair of Caribous for a long time and would never think of bracing a cold, snowy Colorado day without them. Just purchased two more pair for my daughters for Christmas. These boots will last for years, no matter how rough the user treats them. The secret to these boots is the replaceable felt/wool lining. We always purchase an extra pair of liners. If the liner gets wet you still have a dry pair to put in the boot while the wet ones dry. Brilliant! December 4, 2014
Not true to size! This is an amazing boot, but it runs big. All of my shoes and boots are a size 8 and my feet swam in the size 8. I would recommend buying a size smaller. December 4, 2014
I like these boots FIT: I am size 4 and so I had to get the size 5. I used to wear size 5 before I found out that Nordstrom carries size 4 footwear. Having worn size 5 for years, I believe that these run large-ish for 5. This is of course by design otherwise you can't put some nice thick toasty socks underneath. Also, having a little bit of room in the boot keeps your feet warmer by creating a bit of an air pocket. The rubber is very thick and not very flexible, so even though the boot laces, you won't be able to close the shoe very much. Because of this they are easy to slide on and off. They are very bulky and wide, and HEAVY. The large sole surface adds stability and balance. I especially notice the weight going up stairs. COLOR These are not fashion-forward. My husband thinks that they're cute. I thought these were unattractive on the website. In reality they are of visibly solid construction, high quality and therefore reasonably attractive. WARMTH I was able to test these to about -15F where I was warm. Interestingly, when I wore these indoors (like to visit a museum) my feet didn't feel overly hot which surprised me. These transition well from indoors/ to outdoors. TRACTION The soles are full of nubs and walking around in snowy upstate NY conditions with some slippery patches, I was very grippy and did not slide once. Very pleased with that! Still might want a set of Kahtoola's! I wish that these were slightly less wide/ bulky, BIG AND HEAVY. However, I really to do like them a lot. I find them super comfortable, eminently practical and my reason for purchasing these -- warm. As far as I know as of this writing these are the warmest boots made by Sorel, rated to perform at -40F. I wore these every day on my recent weekend getaway hiking, museums, visiting wineries...and was very happy. December 3, 2014
Cozy and Warm I love the way they fit! I'm not used to wearing snow boots and my feet actually staying warm. Definitely worth the price! December 3, 2014
Love! I purchased these boots based upon the previous reviews. Last year I went hunting for the first time and my feet were freezing. This year, in 0 degree weather, my feet were toasty warm throughout the entire day outside. They have plenty of room for bulky wool socks and have great traction on ice. Although they are a larger boot they are easy to walk in and very comfortable! December 3, 2014
warm! my daughter got them delivered to her college in Montana and said that they are warmer then her Uggs boots. December 3, 2014
Heavy Duty Warmth I live at about 9,000 ft above sea level and sometimes the temperatures get down to the negatives this boot is heavy duty and kept me very snug and warm. They are a bit big to walk around in but for those days when you need the coverage they do the job. Totally worth the money. My toes were so cold before. November 28, 2014
These boots are the warmest I've ever owned. The Caribou boot is extremely practical and surprisingly stylish. They should hold up for years to come! November 28, 2014
When You Think Heavy Duty, These Boots Fit the Profile Let me start out with expressing how excited I was to get these boots for their slip proof dependability... Durability: WOW. Boots are heavier than I imagined. I did not expect to wear these for a night on the town, but also didn't expect them to be AS clunky, where I'd be tripping over my own steps. I am 5'3" so it's easy for me to trip in really clunky footwear. I simply purchased these to be able to walk on ice while walking the dog and to withstand the blistering cold Minnesota weather. If you are looking for that thick soled warm boot (literally thick ALL AROUND) then these are sure to last and do the job intended just by the look of them. They have about an inch in thickness (rubber) all around the sole of the boot. Comparing the soles to my Tofino boots, they are in contrast very different and I know I can trust them on ice. Now if you are like me and want a dependable boot that holds up to its construction description, but still want somewhat of a cute boot on your feet that don't make your feet look like mini tonka trucks, these may not be for you. They are well made in my opinion, but are most definitely a clunky boot and I've seen in some descriptions the term "clown feet" (which maybe a little over exaggerating) but your feet will look like you're wearing a men's size. (Unless you're a size 6 or below, lucky ones!) Fit: *Note: I wear an 8 in flats everyday wear. The most important part, figuring out your size in these hefty things. I ordered a size 7.5 when I normally wear a 7.5 in a boot. Typically, for the narrow boots I stick to my regular size, BUT these are WIDER boots. For me there was a size issue. I unfortunately have to return these. They are very large on me. After removing the liner my husband could fit in them and he is a men's 10... I can't even believe I might get a 6.5 an entire size down... I went to a store nearby that had one size 7 left and they were the older version that had to of been sitting in the back of their warehouse for a while because the lining was old and had a more restricted front so while sliding on the size 7 boot they were a little more snug around the shaft, but once in, I STILL felt I had more room than I needed! *Keep in mind I like a snug boot. Overall, if you want roomy go down a half size, but if you want TRUE to your size and snug go down a whole size. Comfort: Yes comfortable. Very roomy in the heel area and up front to fit plenty of those layered thick socks some of you like to wear. I like the suede shaft, it does not rub or sag on your leg. Overall: I rated a 3 star instead of a 5 star for two reasons. The boot size in my case was not true to size and the fact that I expected clunky, but not as if I was wearing a men's size clunky boot. I thought they'd have a tad more of a woman's fit, but I would still recommend this boot for its functionality. These boots are durable and warm. November 20, 2014
Love, love love them! I wasn't expecting the boots to be as big as they are- they're pretty large and a little heavy but I absolutely love them (I'm also a size 12, so they're bigger than the picture). While these do run ever so slightly on the big side, that's a good thing. They fit well on my feet whether I'm wearing regular socks/hidey socks for flats on my way to work if I'm trekking around and wearing big thick wool socks. These are intense weather boots that are great for getting to work, walking the dog, or sledding up north in Michigan weather. November 20, 2014
Great Winter Boots I recently bought these boots for what is looking like to be a rather snow heavy winter for Idaho. They are incredibly comfortable, much more so than my last pair of boots. My feet stay dry and warm, even after tromping through snow all day. I have yet to try them on pure ice (no snow covering), but I doubt that they would let me down if I was being careful. I thought the boot fit true to size, and that is with me wearing wool socks. (Note: I like my boots to be snug, but not tight) In any case, I recommend these boots to anyone who wants to keep their feet dry and warm all day long and not have to worry about any nasty spills. November 19, 2014
Good looking and sturdy boots Since I live in Wisconsin I've already had a few chances to try these boots out and so far I've been impressed. The quality is top notch and they are very warm. The thick felt liners are really nice. I'm thinking of getting a pair for my wife, too. They might be a bit on the heavy side for some, but I find clunking around in a big ol' pair of Sorel's very satisfying. Regarding size: I usually wear a 8.5 so I got an 8 in these boots and I find that they fit well with a little bit of extra room for thick socks. November 18, 2014
Perfect Cold Weather Boot We bought a pair of Sorel Caribou boots for the whole family. These boots are stylish and comfortable. They were recently put to the test with temperatures at -14 in Colorado. You won't be disappointed. November 14, 2014
Best BOOTS ever made! I have owed this pair of boots for several years. They have never failed me, Not one time. Great in the snow, and slippery wet areas. The liner of the boots are very easy to wash and keep clean when you need too. I have these on my wishlist this year and I hope I get a new color. Wish me luck. Merry Christmas from a Sorel happy Lady. November 13, 2014
Way too big I just ordered these on Wednesday and got them on Monday. I usually wear a 7.5 or an 8, so after reading the reviews and seeing that these fit true to size I got a 7.5. I tried them on today and I have about an inch and a half of extra space. They were also much wider than I thought they would be. I seriously thought they accidentally put the men's caribou boot in a women's box. I can't even walk in the boots without feeling like I'm going to trip and fall, it's very disappointing. I want to order a 7 but I'm too nervous it won't fit. November 11, 2014
Boots for the Gal Who has cold feet As an outdoor gal, I have tried all different brands of snow boots. This beats all!! Wish I would have purchased sooner. There is enough room in the boots for UGG insoles. The price seemed high, but they are an investment. Very well made and good looking too. November 9, 2014
Highly recommended! I purchased the Caribou-style Sorel boot stamped G083 Manitou around 1989(?). White rubber bottom with white leather upper. Have replaced the liners several times as expected and have polished the upper and have used mink oil on them. These boots are still going strong. Always use them when doing the snowblowing as they have excellent traction. Plenty warm with good liners and wool socks. The rubber bottoms have yellowed with age. Does anyone know how to get them white again??? Mr Clean Magic Eraser seems to work the best so far. Otherwise, no complaints at all. Happy to have such a well-made product that has lasted so long. Thanks Sorel! October 8, 2014
First Impression I just got these in shale yesterday. First, let me start off by saying the standard shipping was incredibly fast--I ordered these on a Monday and received them Thursday. Next, I think many reviewers over-exaggerated the bulk of these boots. Yes, they're big, but that's what I expect from heavy duty snow boots. As for the weight, the package I received them in weighed in at 5 lb, and when I tried them on and walked around, they were NOT as heavy as people make them out to be. Finally, I was hesitant on the sizing as I am a tried and true size 8, yet many reviewers said to size down. However, I measured my foot as the sizing guide instructs and my foot was indeed a size 8. After trying the boots on with standard socks, they are perfect yet roomy enough to fit thicker socks. Overall very impressed with the boots and can't wait for it to snow!! September 26, 2014
Warmest Winter Boots My mom's had a pair of these boots since forever (and a few duct tape patches, of course). I got mine as a present about 6 years ago, maybe a little more. First things first: we live in central Wisconsin and the UP, respectably. There's a lot of snow and cold, so cuteness isn't really what's most important in boots. Also, we spend a week every year camping in a cabin in the UP in the winter. It's heated with a wood-burning stove, so we spend a lot of time outside collecting wood, hiking and otherwise enjoying nature. A lot of boots can keep you warm in the city, or for short periods of time, but these boots will never let you down. A lot of people seem to be saying that they run small. I couldn't disagree more. I sized up to an 11, when I normally wear a 9.5. I probably could fit my feet into a smaller size, but since warmth is the key component, lots of trapped air is better at insulating than too many socks. This method leaves you with really large, bulky boots that shift a little when you walk, but they don't look silly under snowpants, and actually they're pretty attractive when you consider similarly effective boots. When I get more, I'll definitely stick to the larger size. These boots are way more waterproof than any other "winter" boots I've owned. It seems like manufacturers assume if it's snowing, it'll never get wet. I've forded ice-cold streams more times than I can count w/out worrying that the water would get in. I've spent a good 6 months a year in these boots (every day) for at least 6 years before I had to give up on them. That's longer than any other shoe I've had, much less a specialty shoe like this. The only reason I had to get rid of them was because the tread wore down, and they were slippery on the ice. (Like I said, my mom's are probably 5 years older than mine, and are doing fine with a few duct tape patches here and there to secure the waterproofedness.) They never gave up on keeping me warm, or on being overwhelmingly comfy. They're like the (waterproof, windproof) sweatpants of boots. It's gearing up to be winter again, so I'm checking out some of the other Sorels. There are some that are a little more fashionable, but if you're looking for a hard-working, long-lasting, crazy warm boot, you can't get better. (I tried to add a picture, but they're almost always covered by snowpants and as such, unrecognizable.) September 20, 2014
Hoping I received my Caribous today, and they are very very large. My foot measures to 6.5/37 on the nail. Without a sock, my foot slipped out of a tightly laced boot without any effort. With a heavy winter sock on, it's only slightly better. I'm hoping that the extra room in the toe box will help retain heat as tight boots = cold feet, but I am concerned about slipping (as slipping boots on heels = painful blisters). That said, there's no real support in the footbed so I'll add arch and/or heel cups to give the footbed some support. If I end up having to constantly apply mole skin/sports tape to avoid blisters, I won't be happy. Fingers crossed that if further investment in this expensive boot doesn't work out that Sorel will stand behind their product. Things that make me want to keep the boot, A) reputation, B) style & design (although full sheep skin inner in addition to the wool (outer) lining would be a great touch - there's room!), C) beefiness - I like a solid step (also protects from buried objects beneath snow), D) the large size might work out when I need to slip something on/off quickly (e.g., mail/trash run). I do not yet have enough information to recommend, but I'll keep you all posted as time will tell if they're too large...frost already this week, so, Winter is Coming!! September 12, 2014
Kind of disappointed Loved these boots, was determined to get them once I bought a similar style that weren’t waterproof. Really love the style and living in New Hampshire and having to endure the crazy winters here I thought they’d be a great option. First thing I notice when I receive them in the mail: they’re heavy. Heavier than any normal boots I’ve held or owned. I assumed that was normal though and would take getting used to. But that’s not the problem. I realized how extremely huge these boots were when I compared them to every single other boot I own. I ordered a size 10, which I usually do with every shoe, but when I put them on my feet they were about two sizes too big. Not sure if this is a manufacturing problem or if I should’ve sized myself with the online chart. But when I order a size 10 I kind of expect a size 10.. Really feels like a men’s size, and trust me I’ve double checked, it’s a woman’s shoe. Highly disappointed now I have to return the boots, plus Sorel doesn’t cover shipping costs on what will be a very heavy package due to the weight of the boots and the size of the box. Very unhappy. September 10, 2014
Almost Perfect These are great looking, practical, study, cold weather boots. The toe box is big enough that toes will not be cramped and get cold. The 9mm felt liner will provide excellent warmth. I ordered the shale/stone color and thought they looked even better than the picture. I returned them with a heavy heart. I'm very picky about boots and there was just one shortcoming I could not live with. Only 4 sets of lacing buckles made it impossible to lace them really snug across the instep. So, I am replacing them with Premium 1964 boots with leather uppers. I had a pair for 30 years and they served me well, although I could have used the added warmth of the Caribou. September 3, 2014
Weigh the Pros and Cons first! First let me start by saying - I LOVE the idea of these boots. Waterproof, serious tread (I think you could climb an ice-mountain in these bad boys without slipping!), trendy colors, and nice liner! I absolutely believe you could go for a nice long walk in these in a foot of snow and your feet would be dry and warm. All great things. But.... First - I bought these boots thinking the other reviewers were being too picky.... I was wrong. I generally wear a 6.5 or 7 in shoes. Per other reviews, I ordered down and got a 6. The liner fit my feet fine, however, when I took the liner out (and it will slide out with your foot every single time you remove the boot)- my husband could fit into these and he wears a mens 9!!! Second - The liner in these boots will eventually wear thin where the seams inside the boot are. This will be EXTREMELY uncomfortable for you in the future. Third - unless you do some serious leg workouts at your gym, I wouldn't suggest buying these. I would guess they are about 4 lbs each, adding an additional 8+ lbs to your feet when walking. Lastly - These look HUGE on my feet! I am 5'6 with a slender buid (115 lbs) and these are so incredibly wide and clunky it is impossible to walk normally in them. Unless you plan to make the ultimate lumberjack-fashion-statement, you won't be wearing these with leggings or skinny jeans in the fall/ winter. They are just way too big. August 13, 2014
Warmest boots ever I fell in love with these years ago when I worked as a lift operator at a ski resort. I stood on ice and snowpack for hours at a time in these and my feet never got wet or cold....while not 'pretty', these boots are absolutely, without a doubt, quite simply...AMAZING !!!!! Mostly great boots! I used these boots during this past winter, which was super-snowy and cold. They're fantastic! They kept my feet warm & dry, & they fit great (I bought my regular size), and I had no chafing at all. My only complaint is that the liners come completely out with my foot whenever I take them off - unless I'm not wearing socks. This became REALLY irritating since I was wearing them almost daily for a while. The entire lining comes out, and isn't that easy to get back in. Other than that, I'm really happy with these. so happy I absolutely love these boots. They have saved me this winter in freezing Chicago! They are super comfy & warm. They are a little heavy but being such a solid boot, I can handle a few pounds per leg!! I love my grey & black caribou choice! Def recommend!! March 6, 2014
To big around ankels I wasn't expecting something to make my foot look danty and or small but these were very big around my ankels. I felt as if I could not get them tight enough to feel comfortable. Sending the product back and I already spent a small fortune on the boots and now I have to pay to return them. March 5, 2014
Blister boots not good for walking I wanted a classic rain boot that would keep my socks and jeans dry during wet and cold weather. These do the trick, but the first or second time I wore them I was walking in the city and got blisters on the back of my ankles. These boots are very heavy and are not ideal for lots of walking. They fit very snug (I tucked my blue jeans into my socks); however, I could feel the boots coming off my heels while walking. After reading the reviews I ordered my normal shoe size of 6 1/2 and I think these boots are too big. I won't be buying another pair until trying them on in store. February 22, 2014
