GREAT BOOT Got these boots for winter wear, they look great, and fit perfectly. I'll be wearing them a lot this winter. October 12, 2013
Poor quality I've had my boots for a little over two months and they have started falling apart. The sole is peeling off of one boot and both are breaking down and scuffing easily. I only wear them part of the time, along with another boot, and have only worn them for casual everyday use. I have enjoyed quality products from Sorel in the past and have a pair of winter boots that are excellent, so maybe this is just a faulty pair. Either way, these seem to be meant for very light wear and not everyday use. March 12, 2013
Nice Boot but.. This is a great looking boot and it fits true to size. But I had a problem with the sole as well. I've only had the boot for 3 weeks and the sole started coming apart from the shoe at the front. I had to have the sole re-glued so the shoe so it wouldn't come apart any further. I'm hoping the problem doesn't get any worse. If it does, I'll have to try to have the boot returned for another pair. February 4, 2013
Great boot, just okay in the cold I was hoping that these boots would be warm enough to use for cycling in the winter in Toronto, and I'm a little bummed that they're not. That said, these are excellent Spring-Summer-Fall cycling boots, and are fine for walking around in the winter (the wind created from cycling really cools your feet, so you absolutely need wind-proof footwear, and these unfortunately are not). The upper is lined with a tough-feeling wooly layer (about 1/4"), so your ankles will be well-insulated. The foot and toes are not insulated, so that's where I'm getting cold like any other pair of leather footwear. The size is pretty true, unlike Sorel winter boots; I recommend ordering your normal size. The boots look excellent; my girlfriend loves them. January 16, 2013
To the guy about the soles... Great quality boot. The beauty of having a leather sole is you can just tear it off when the sole is done and still get years of use out of the boot without having to throw it away. You t problem is easily fixed with a little $2 shoe glue and if need be some tacks. This is a very high quality boot and comes with the territory of having the longevity of a leather sole. Replace it with a different sole when you're done if you really don't like this one. This is one of my all time favorite boots! December 23, 2012
Disappointed by a Great Company I have owned several pair of Sorel's and been very happy in the past. However I have to say I am Very disappointed with these boots. I will start with the positives, they look great and are warm. Unfortunately that is about all there is. I wore the boots one time, on a recent trip to Calgary, and the sole literally broke off. From the tip of the toe back to the seam, in the sole, simply tore loose and broke off on both left and right boot. FAIL!! Secondarily who on earth decided to put closed loops on the top two eyelets? Have they ever worn boots before? It makes putting on and removal of the boot way more difficult than it should be. I would think twice before buying these boots. November 29, 2012
