How to Measure Your Foot

  • Place your feet flat on a piece of paper and mark your longest toe and the back of your foot. It's best to do this standing and wearing socks
  • Measure the length (cm) straight from your longest toe to the back of your foot using a ruler or measuring tape.
  • Use the chart to find your size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and very comfortable! These boots are fantastic. They're quite lightweight and still feel very sturdy, providing great support. Since trying mine out, both my brother and dad are now sold on them. The one and only downside is that they do not last quite as long as some heavier boots, purely because the sole is made of a lighter weight material that wears more quickly. They're still 100% worth it in my opinion, and I prefer the ripstop model over the all leather version since it flexes better while still providing the same support

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy, stylish, and waterproof I love these boots and wear them all winter in the PNW. They stay warm and keep my feet dry. The grip is fine for sidewalks and cement but I wouldn't recommend them for muddy hills. All in all a great pair of boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfy and stylish shoe Although these are boots by looks, keep in mind they are more realistically light weight, high top, lace up shoes. If you want something stylish, comfortable and look like a hard working boot, this is perfect for you. If you want something like an actual work boot, these are not that. Now you know what exactly you are buying, you won't have any complaints. These are more like high top "chucks" than they are boots. I use them as work shoes in an office setting. You can tell by holding them that they will not last long as a hiking shoe either, nothing this light weight and stylish will. I really like them and think they would be worth getting in both color schemes, right now I just have the grey ones. Fit is true to size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fourth pair! What can I say this the fourth pair I've purchased for my husband. They are nice looking and comfortable. He is on his feet 10-12 hours a day at work, and has a pair for the weekends too. He really loved the Putnam which was a similar boot to the Ankeny, but for some reason they have discontinued it. So we decided to try the Ankeny. You cant go wrong with Sorel boots. Good looking, true to size fitting, comfortable, durable boots.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Toe cap began to peel away from shoe. This shoe looks and fits great. It was comfortable from the get go. However, after a couple months of very light use, the left toe cap began to peel away from the shoe. I took them to Columbia for warranty repair and was soon sent an e-credit for the value of the shoes. I have since noticed this same problem listed on multiple online reviews of this shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love 'em! I love my new boots! They are comfortable, light-weight, and good-looking. Love the red laces! The first day I wore them I was walking into a coffee shop when a young woman said to me, "I LOVE your boots!" That's the kind of compliment that goes straight to the heart of a 72 year-old man!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT Waterproof These boots were a huge disappointment. They are not waterproof at all. My feet are soaked when I wear them in the rain or in a little It of snow/sleet (nothing more than an inch). Very bummed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good shoes but defect on right heel I loved the boots when I had them. They look great and are comfortable. I found them to be waterproof unlike other reviewers. I had these boots for about a month and I put them to the test, hiking in them mostly seven miles a weekend. They held up over the course of the month through streams and trails. I found them to be a comfortable hiking shoe and I wound up wearing them around town as well. The only problems were that the right heel began hissing when I stepped on it after a couple weeks. Sounded like it was letting air out. I tried to find the hole to plug it but couldn't figure it out. Must be a factory defect. Also, the rubber tip on the front of the shoe looked like it was starting to peel away. Shouldn't be a problem to fix that, and I put them through some intense terrain so that seems normal. Luckily I was within the full return period and I was refunded. I intended to buy another pair, only problem was the color I had purchased sold out and is currently on backorder. I do intend on buying another pair in the tobacco/elk color when it comes back in stock. Couldn't find a boot that looked this good and was as comfortable any where else. Intend to take them hiking in Europe in the fall as my primary shoe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Two pairs received, both damaged This is a high quality product, but the first pair I ordered was scratched and had water damage. The second pair I received had an oil stain on them. The product is made well but I received two damaged pairs of boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected Very lightweight but durable and well built. Comfortable and not rigid in places you wouldn't want. I would not recommend this as a hiking boot, but for an everyday, all day boot for the Pacific northwest, this is perfect. Great traction on all terrains including infamously slick mildew covered asphalt/concrete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight boots I really like the lightweight feel of these boots. Uppers are flexible which adds to the comfort of the inside of the boot. Insole are great, too, offering padded comfort. The boots also have a bigger than average toe box. I've worn these boots in some heavy rain and through standing without getting my feet wet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Boyfriend Gift So I got these for my Boyfriend (6'1", 220lb and size 14 normal/wide) He wears them to school, work and...outdoors. We live in Stillwater, Oklahoma so winter weather consists of rain, ICE, some snow, and cold. So far so good. He didnt get any blisters first couple time he wore them (8hr periods) which was nice. Waterproof in puddles but Im not expecting much more than that.

But they are casual only boots i mean serious indoor . why did i wasted 122 $(tax +shipping) for some thing that i cant use in any kind a practical life

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent boot I needed a black short boot that would work in multiple environments and this one so far is perfect. Now that they are on sale they are an even better value. Unfortunately I missed the price drop by a few days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved the look and feel! My husband loves the style and look of the boots. Perfect for simple hikes or job site ! Not had to test them in rain or moisture yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These boots are great !!!! Normally I buy some German or other European boot as they seem to fit like a glove. These have that same kind of fit and stability in their support and my feet feel great after wearing them for long periods of time. I couldn't be happier with them and I get compliments on them all the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Using more than I expected Originally bought these boots for hiking, but now, enjoy wearing them more often, when not hiking and just moving about town. They are really comfortable, secure tight to my ankle and leave plenty of room for my toes to wiggle free. I did replace the inner sole with a Montrail Thermo moldable foam to give me a bit more cushion, but that was only a marginal improvement. I have used them on 5-7 mile hikes through the forest on rough terrain, on long 3-5 mile walks around the neighborhood and paved trails and now, just running errands around town. I've also walked through 2-inch puddles of water without worry and stayed dry. I don't think these boots are designed for serious hiking, especially if you are carrying a heavy pack. There is no padding around the ankle for extra support and the tread is good for water on paved surfaces, but not intended for gripping rocks or rough terrain. On one hike, I was climbing an inclined trail that had frosted over pretty well, and I was slipping, while my hiking colleagues where up the hill without issue. But this aside, I am enjoying these boots for pretty much most of my needs. For a point of reference: I am 6 feet, 3 inches, weigh 205 pounds, live in the wet Pacific Northwest.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 1" of water - not weatherproof/waterproof The first time I wore those boots in wet weather my socks were cold and damp right where the laces start near the toes. They are supposed to be waterproof starting at above the ankle and below. Not satisfied with this product. Purchased with intent to wear in damp cold weather to keep my feet dry. I only gave two stars because they look great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Waterproof? I received these as a gift. I wore them on an easy upland hunt in knee high grass and my feet were soaked from the dew after only 45min. They look and fit great but I am not sure "hiker" is appropriate for this boot. They will work on my "hikes" from the car to the office on rainy days. I will give them another shot but my first impression is disappointment.
