I bought these boots since I recently relocated from Florida to Washington DC and deperately needed something to keep my feet warm and dry...these boots are it! They're super cute but also very functional. I regularly wear a 9-9.5 and have average width feet, so I ordered a 9.5 to be on the safe side...they fit perfectly. I might even prefer a size 10 so I can wear super thick socks, there isn't alot of spare space in the 9.5. I disagree that the boots make your feet look super-huge. The best thing about them is that they're not heavy or bulky. I can walk, even run after my dogs, with no problem...these boots allow plenty of flexibilty in the foot. I bought the black houndstooth pair but I'm considering ordering the pink/green as well. I am so happy with this product I bought Sorel boots for my husband and father for Christmas. You won't be disappointed with these boots!

I originally ordered these boots on Zappos but because they didn't have half sizes I had to return them. I have a very skinny flat foot, kind of like a bone and these boots actually fit me and well. I got the black and white checkered ones with the yellow laces. I wore them to DC last night and they were very comfortable, warm and of course show stoppers. Thanks Sorel your boots are gorgeous, I think I might get the red plaid one's at some point.

I purchased these at Nordstroms and am now looking forward to some snowy weather! I tried on several other pairs, including knee-high and mid-calf...and ultimately chose these because they were the most comfortable. Everything else felt like I was wearing snowboarding boots...which is not the most comfortable feeling when you walk 16 blocks a day. The upper cloth part is waterproof, and my feet feel warm and cozy inside. I also like that they come with extra laces - the green boots come with both pink and green laces.
