LOVE these boots, but... they are narrow!
I love, love, LOVE these boots, but I find that they are running very narrow. Cstr svc says that they run true to size, so I ordered a 7, which were not comfortable, so I ordered a 7.5... unfortunately I'm going to have to try an 8! I want these so much that I am recommending them, but warn you to go up a size or two if you have anything but super skinny feet.

I love my new Sorels
I just spent a week up in Whistler, Canada wearing my new Sorels anytime I was outside and not wearing my ski boots. I wore them trucking through the deep snow and my feet were nice and cozy. I wore them with a black skirt and leggings and also with jeans tucked in when I ventured into the Village for a night out.
I received many compliments on them as well.

Glad I Purchased
Well, I wasn't going to get these boots at first because I was thinking the fur would make it so that I couldn't pull my pants over the boots, if needed. However, I decided to buy them just to see. I'm glad I did purchase these cute boots! My pants fit over them, and I can get other pants tucked in easily as well. I'm 5'4" and 155 pounds. My calves are on the larger side. These boots are also warm on the inside. They give enough room to wear thick socks too. I usually wear 61/2-7 in shoes, so I bought size 7 in these boots. They are perfect. I've worn them with thick and medium socks. I had read other people's reviews saying the fur looks cheap. I can see how people think this. It does look a little on the cheap side. However, the fit, durability, and warmth make up for it. Plus, if you really care about that, you can actually tuck some of the fur inside.

extremely dissapointed
I saw these boots online and fell in love with them immediately. I bought them in red, and I do love how they look. However, I was very dissapointed because I bought them primarily for walking my dog around the neighboorhood sidewalks. After 20 minutes of walking, water starts to creep in and makes your toes wet and cold, even with thick socks. I'm dissapointed as sorel is known for quality products. As adorable as they are, if you ever plan on wearing them for over 20 minutes at a time I would definately not reccomend them.

LOVE!
These boots are awesome! I have worn them almost every day since receiving them & Im a bit sad that the snow in Denver is starting to melt as I want to keep wearing them! The color is perfect - I was afraid they might be too bright but as soon as I got them out of the box I was so happy I chose them. Im planning on getting another pair in black very soon. I can wear sizes 9 & 10 so I chose 9.5 and they are perfect. They are super flattering, warm & comfortable & I am so happy with my purchase!

Look and Fit Great, but their Functionality is Severly Lacking
I've heard that one customer's response is said to be worth a thousand customer's thoughts, so decided to share mine...
This is my second pair of Sorel winter boots. The first was the Joan of Arctic pair. I have narrow feet and although I liked the design and functionality of them, they felt kind of 'floppy' when I walked, because my feet would slip out of them. Otherwise, they were great.
I bought the Tofino's in December, because they look very similar to the Joan of Arctics, but primarily because of their fit. It is a narrower shoe and allows me to do more running/fast moving. I have been wearing them for 3 months now.
My issue, and I know it MUST be the same for many others, is that the lining does not come out. It is almost an INSULT that Sorel expects that the buyers of this boot to be snowbunnies who won't ACTUALLY be wearing these in the snow, rather, in their Soccer Mom SUV's, picking up their kids from the ski slopes. I have yet to find a boot that looks this good for the same price and comfort. I wear them for 8 hours at a time, in Lake Tahoe (California). I also wear them out at night in my city (Santa Cruz, CA) which is a beach town and does not snow. I do not have sweaty feet, but moisture accumulates, and at the end of the day, the insides are SOAKED. I wore them during Valentines Day for dinner, and after 3 hours, my feet were wet. "Dry them out," you say? Its not really possible. The liner is sewed into the boot. It takes longer than 8 hours for them to dry (inside a house), meaning they cannot be worn the next morning. What "Waterproof Winter-Pack" boot does not have a removable lining?!
The design is flawed and its also a huge insult to athletic women who also appreciate style. I am extremely frustrated with my purchase. I will think again before buying a Sorel product next time, or see if I can fit into their Joan of Arctic again.
If you still want to buy them, buy up a size or 2!

FANTASTIC
These boots are incredibly comfortable and absolutely adorable. I wear them all the time. I love, love, love them. I would recommend them to anyone. They look cute with any outfit and are practical for winter weather.

Comfy and snappy!
I had been eyeing these boots at the Sundance film festival and ordered online. The reviews said that they were true to shoe size, so I took a chance, and they fit! The weather was wet snow and my feet stayed dry while I felt stylish and not frumpy!
FYI..they are much lighter than the joan of artic boots, if that helps with your decision.

So far, so good
I haven't had a nice pair of winter boots for years. So decided it was time to invest. Of course, this is about our mildest winter on record, so naturally I've hardly had a chance to wear them so far. One opportunity, though -- it was still snowy when I took the pups out to play at the dog park. We hiked for probably 45 minutes or so, and this was the first time I wore the boots. They were completely comfortable the entire time. Temps weren't too cold, so I was mostly testing for wearability and comfort in snow, but they were lovely. I expect that they will be great in colder, snowier weather, too -- but alas (or not?), that remains to be seen so far this winter here in Iowa.

Love love LOVE!!!!
These are fashionable and practical... Sad we have only had a dusting this year... Stupid midwest weather!!! I LOVE them and keep praying it gets colder so I can wear them alllllllllll the time!!!!!!!!!! If my husband wouldn't be totally irrate I would have them in every color and probably several other styles =)

Best boots EVER
These boots have exceeded my expectations in every way. I have the Caribou boots (which I love) but they are very big/wide/clunky/sturdy. I love them for the snow and quick jaunts but I wanted something more slim fitting for walking and going around town. I bought the boots in red - super cute and fashionable. They fit like a dream and are great for running errands, treking through the snow, taking my dog for walks, etc. They are VERY warm. I suggest light socks. I absolutely love these and will wear them forever.

Love my Sorel's
A friend bought a pair at the Schoeader store in Wisconsin and I had to have a pair. Although we don't get a lot of snow in St. Louis, we get enough for me; I can't walk in the stuff. My Tofino's arrived in a few days and I wore them immediately - I didn't want to wait for the snow. I love them. I'm heavy so I have a hard time putting boots on, these slipped on and off with no effort. Now I want the Sorel Lakes.

Red Womans Tofino Boot-Love them
I live in Chicago so being warm and stylish is the key! I wanted these boots for months but they were sold out at the local dept store. I called Sorel and they sent them to me in three days. The customer service rep was so nice and informative. I have worn them and they are comfortable and very warm. I found them true to size so far because I have not worn heavy socks yet- not needed because they are so warm. I have only had them 3 weeks so I don't know if they will hold up! Great boot!!!

Disappointing Quality
My Tofinos are kettle/black and the first time I wore them the rubber outsole began to scuff. I don't abuse them--I just wear them to walk the dogs down my dirt road, and now that I've worn my Tofinos about ten times the rubber that used to be pewter is practically white; it looks very worn and trashy.
Also, the sole is very thin, so even on warmer days I still have to double layer socks. Around the time I got my Tofinos my friend bought knock-offs; she wears them all the time and yet they look better than my name-brand boots! I heard so many good things about Sorel before I got my Tofinos, and now I wonder if only the Caribous are built to last. I received these as a gift or I would return them.
On a positive note, the half-sizes are a great option--I ordered my usual size and they fit well even when I wear two pairs of socks. Also, the design of the tongue definitely helps keep moisture out, so I imagine these are good in a rainy climate. If you're just looking for boots to run around town and you don't mind major scuffing then the Tofinos might suit your needs, but I can't recommend them to gals who need boots to stand up to severe weather.

Sundance Special
I bought these after years of trudging around Sundance in cruddy boots. First of all, I've gotten 1 million compliments on the red boots... secondly I have literally stepped into a puddle half way up my shin and NO water got inside. When the box says impenetrable it's not kidding around!

Awesome boots!
Very 'pretty' snow boot. Warm and comfortable. Lightweight. Shoveled my driveway which had an inch of ice under the snow and never slipped an inch! Going to try them soon when I go snow-tubing! LOVE THEM !!

Great Boots !!!! Gray different from photo.
I ordered these boots in the gray. I normally wear a 9.5 and I have wide feet so I ordered a 10 after reading the other reviews. The 10 fits perfectly. I think that a 9.5 would have been too narrow for my feet. The boots are very warm and really comfortable. Wore them to the mall last week and my feet felt great afterwards. I think that the fur in the gray looks good even though some of the other reviews said that it looked really fake and tacky. The only thing that I dont like is that the canvas part of the boots have a slight brown tint and the bottom part of the boot is really not so much as black but white with lots of black paint spatter to give a blackish gray appearance. I am a perfectionist so it probably wont bother most but the paint spray is heavier in some areas. If I could redo it all, I would probably order the black or red boots. Other than that, love the boots.

Couldn't be happier
I've had Sorels before so I decided to order some again and the Torfinos are PERFECT! They are true to size and I wear them with a nice medium pair of wool socks. We had a bunch of snow this year and my feet have stayed warm and dry through lots and lots of walking in snow and water. I highly reccomend these boots to anyone looking to buy a comfy, warm boot that looks great too! I can't tell you how many people have asked me where I got them and how cute they are. I will buy another pair when these wear out, if they ever do.

LOVE EM
I ordered the red Tofino's and absolutely love them. I had Sorels before and loved themm but it was time for a new pair. They always keep my feet warm and don't hurt my feet. The bonus is my new ones are kinda stylish and I love that. My only problem was I couldn't buuy them in 1/2 sizes in any of the stores around me. I had to order on-line which I don't do very often. They arrived very quickly and in good condition so all was well. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone that wants to look good and be warm:)

Great Boots!
Just moved to a northern rural town and found these boots to be perfect for the harsh weather conditions. Great grip for black ice and waterproof for snow. Not to mention very trendy looking! I love the handles on the side to help slip the foot in the boot. I use them for work and going out. Size fit perfect, stayed true! Perfect for walking around town :)

Get These!
I bought these to walk my dog through the park fields and paddocks around our house. They are the most comfy and warm boots I have ever owned! I find myself wearing them everywhere and get lots of compliments on how cute they are. I usually wear an 8 1/2 so I was happy to see these were available in half sizes. I ended up getting a 9 after trying them both so I could wear warm socks with them. They slip on and off easily with their D ring laces. The red makes them super cute and they are the hit of the park!

wonderful boots which I will wear all the time
I got them in the mail today! I went out into the woods to test them out.
Fit: I would recommend going to a store and trying on a few different styles of Sorel boots so you can figure out what size you wear. I wear a 7 or 8 in most shoes, but I got a 6.5 in these and they fit perfectly. The half-size is one of the reasons I got these boots! I liked the Joan of Arctic, but in a 7 my heels slid around a lot, and in the 6 my toes were squished against the toe of the shoe.
Waterproof: Definitely! I stood in a creek halfway up the boot and nothing got in; I hardly felt the cold of the water.
Warm: It's only chilly today, but they are very cozy and warm so far.
Traction: Just from being out in the woods, it felt fine romping all over the place: no slipping, and they grip well. I suspect they'll do fine with ice and snow.
I got the black and gray boots, and they look like they do in the picture here. It is definitely true that they fit like a sneaker, and it's really wonderful, considering most hiking boots and quite a few winter boots have terribly thick, chunky heels. I am already in love with these boots, and can't wait to wear them in the snow!

Red Tofinos
Love my red Tofinos! Fit is true to size. It was the chili pepper red that caught my eye. Fur trim could use a bump up in quality. Walked a lot the first time I wore them and they were comfortable. Stopped in Starbucks and over heard a table of ladies saying look she has the red ones.

Tofino Canvas
I got the red Tofino Canvas boots in size 10. They look lovely, but are a little on the small side (I never wear larger than 10). I put an inlay in them to make the sole more confortable (the sole which comes with the boots did not completely disguise the rubber feeling of the undersole). With the inlays they are very confortable and warm. They are 100% waterproof. It is deep red, very pretty.

Absolute Perfection!
I am a 32-year-old mother of two small children. Though I've lived in Ohio my entire life, I must admit that I've never owned a "good" pair of winter boots until now. After reading all the reviews on the Tofino, I purchased the boots and waited with bated breath for them to arrive on my doorstep (a mere 5 days later). The boots fit true to size with a thick sock (I'm a 7 1/2) though I suppose that if you wanted a very tight fit you'd be wise to order down a half-size.
I wore these boots to work - with a charcoal colored skirt and received at least 10 compliments and while walking down the hall a group of women behind me were commenting on them! Best of all, these boots are incredibly warm, comfortable and fantastic looking!

Love this boot!
I needed to replace my snow boots after 6 years of both Chicago and Boston winters. After reading other reviews, I picked these red Sorel boots. As I'm nearly 9 months pregnant, I needed something that fit well, had a stable tread and was warm for my feet. These are terrific.I like the faux fur, and don't think it looks cheap at all (as some other reviewers have stated).

Wonderful!
Such an awesome boot. Perfect for getting to school through feet of snow. I'm usually a 9.5 and ordered a 10 in this boot, which fits great. The red color is very cute too. Highly recommend, especially for those who'd like to avoid big, heavy snowmobiler-type boots but live where it snows, a lot.

perfect Oregon boots
I bought these boots in black and loved them so much I bought a pair in red, too!
After reading many reviews of the boots sizing, I find them to fit "true to size". I am an 8.5 and they fit great. I can wear thick socks or just tights (they look cute with a skirt!) and the fit is great.
I walk my dog in them, too. very comfortable. And good weatherproofing. I also ride my bike in them, and they keep my feet nice and warm (and dry!)

Light, Stylish and Functional
Since relocating from the West Coast to an area that gets piles of snow I've been on the hunt of the perfect waterproof snow boot and I finally found them in Sorel's Tofino.
I'm a practical girl but I'm also style conscious so it's been hard finding the right combination of form and function. I've tried pure rubber boots (e.g. Hunter's) and boots like Ugg's Adirondacks (too short and bulky).
These Sorel's???! PERFECTION. I tried on Cate the Great and Joan of Arctic too. What I love about Tofino is that they fit true to size and feel more like a shoe (nimble) rather than a boot (clunky clodhoppers). My second choice would be Cate the Great for the height but nothing beats the lighter Tofino for someone who likes to walk a lot.
I got the Kettle/Black (grey) because of all the salt used on the sidewalks and streets here. It won't' be as noticeable on this color otherwise I would have preferred to go black. Still, the grey is a nice grey and goes with everything (I have a lot of black, browns, greys and jeans).
Thanks Sorel. You made my winter much brighter, warmer and dry!

i received these boots for Christmas and they've been something I've wanted for so many years. Every time we go to Tahoe, I have suffered with poor performing boots and finally I am all set! Now if it'll just snow.....

Women's Tofino™ Canvas
Got these as an early Xmas present from my husband before we went on a skiing trip in the mountains. These boots are warm, comfortable & fit true to size even with heavy socks. I love these boots. I even wore them at the office. I almost wish it would snow here in Los Angeles so I could have an excuse to wear them more.

Although the city where I live has not received the first round of snow, I decided to break my new boots in and boy, did they receive compliments from just about everyone I came in contact with throughout the day!
The chili pepper color is what makes these boots stand out and I love the way they look and feel. My boots are a Christmas present from my husband and I am super excited to wear them this winter.

This product is very versatile.
It was hard finding the right size. I returned the shoe three different times and changed the style 2 different times b/c of the size. I called CS and they were able to direct me to the right size and location of a store where I could try them on. I loved the style of the shoe and I was on a mission to find the right size. The look of the shoe made me want to find the size that fit.

Women's Tofino canvas boot
I ordered size 9 (instead of 8 1/2, my usual show size); the fit is great with room for heavy socks. It is 11 below zero this morning so warmth is important to me and these boots are warm and very comfortable, but they are not heavy. I choose the color to match my winter jacket--it is bright and a nice change from brown or black.

Got them for the wife and she loved them!
The wife was allowed to open one gift before XMAS and when she saw the Sorel Tofino, she went crazy! She raves about them and the fit is perfect for her narrow foot. Too bad here in Texas we don't get much snow, but it will make an awesome cold weather/rain boot. I ordered the black for her and they are very classy lookin'! Looks like they will go with anything. For those with longer feet (she's a size 12AA), you can be assured that these boots will not look clunky on your feet. They are actually nicely proportioned despite the size and are much more svelte than the usual clunky Sorels. Just understand that footbed is pretty narrow (as she describes it).
